The Nephilim Crusade (Helldivers 2 Inspired Riot Quest)

...Actually, hold on. What kind of economy does Haven run in the first place?

I'm asking to figure out if this is the sort of place that leaves washed-up vets to rot or not.
From my omake on the holy javelin specifications it is Holy credits but you do ask a good question @DecaffeinatedOwl
Actually, I'm happy to say - there is no economy. Everything a denizen needs is provided for them by the state, provided they continue to work towards bettering the Kingdom for all. After all, everyone does their part - from those that work in factories, to managing the fields, doing paperwork...

As for veterans; an antiquated concept. Because service to Haven never ends, even in death.

Oh also, got an idea for a T3 Augment, hopefully it's ait:

Gloriole Tutelaria
Success level decreased by 2 (5 to 3) on first 4 dice, +1 specialty gain when successful
Gain your halo, and become one with His angels

Basically, in short, the idea is thus: You go a step beyond just adding a chip to your brain or hardware in your armor that lets your tutelary assist with aiming, and instead have enough circuitry added into your cranium to let your Tutelary live rent-free inside you, able to partially control your body to fix your mistakes by subtle nudges in real time, and help the lessons you learn properly stick by making sure you learn the right lessons from your battles. Also probably praying constantly when not feeding you taftical battlefield information, of course.

Important to note that we just need 8 successes each to liberate each planet - so as long as we have a decent spread for each side and stick to the simple no-special objective deployments, it'll be fairly easy to succeed.

As much as I'd like to return to Witchpool, the overall impression I'm getting is that overall deployment favors Laetitia and if we are going to have any hope of clearing out a planet and earning those bonus Resources.

Though...

@Dragonofelder was there enough success on any of the bonus objectives last time that there's an advantages to deploying to Witchpool or am I correct in reading the start of turn post that no, it's all just the normal difficulties with no advantages for either?

The current basic items are the Peltor Autocannon and Combat Blade, as well as the free item you might have picked up.

*Cries in late arrival*

The black scorpion will be found and blasted, to the rest that went to kill the veggies, may your weapons turn their roots to ash

So, what I'm hearing is that the government employs everyone, and this command economy works perfectly thanks to copious AI micromanagement and the will of God...in theory.

What does the typical Haven factory look like?

Not enough successes to get bonuses on either planet. People are just prioritising the Green Folk because they can grow exponentially

Not time to roll yet.

What does the typical Haven factory look like?
Have you ever seen an industrial revolution era cotton mill? Where there a dozens of large, fast moving machines, producing so much noise you can't hear yourself think? That run constantly, even when small maintenance jobs are being done? That throw up little cotton particles that mean anyone working there need to wear masks or suffocate? Where the workers include children, that go under the machines to grab things, while they are still running?

Kinda like that. But for sci-fi stuff, like guns. And explosives.

Alright, so since there's no direct support to increase our chances on either planet, and since the overall weight is leaning more towards Laetitia right now, and aiming for an outright cleansing is our best option this turn...

Did some maths on the odds of success using binomial distribution. Feel free to look up what you are.
Rolling 3 dice:
TL2:
73.18% Chance of Success
Predicted Control Adjustment Multiplier (1*73.18%) 0.7318
TL3:
12.5% Chance of Success
Predicted Control Adjustment Multiplier (2*12.5%) 0.25

Rolling 4 dice:
TL2:
88.29% Chance of Success
Predicted Control Adjustment Multiplier (1*88.29%) 0.8829
TL3:
31.25% Chance of Success
Predicted Control Adjustment Multiplier (2*31.25%) 0.6250
TL4:
1.19% Chance of Success
Predicted Control Adjustment Multiplier (2*1.19%) 0.0238
