The Land of the Red Fraction - An Arthurverse Tale - Claims and Discussion Thread

Name: Miyahara Clan

Current Ruler: Miyahara Hoshi (official), Cho Hiromasa (actual ruler)
Expected Heir: Miyahara Akira
Type of Government: Feudal Daimyo
Capital: Yamaguchi

History

The Miyahara Clan, before the Mongol invasion, were landed nobility, but not particularly wealthy or powerful. They were nominally allies to the Sue Clan, and it was believed they were distant relatives, all descended from exiled Korean royalty. During the war, after initial fighting, they submitted to their new rulers. The Sue and all their rivals would be replaced by nobility loyal to the Mongols. The Miyahara, having submitted early on, were allowed to keep their lands. The Cho, who eventually gained power in the region, had themselves an interesting background. The founder of the family had been a Chinese merchant who had settled in Japan years before the war. His sons would participate in the invasion by the Yuan dynasty, and were rewarded with a castle and lands. They in turn intermarried with low ranking Yuan nobility. With the liberation of Japan, the Cho fought on the side of the Yuan, and towards the end of the war, Cho Hiromasa had married Miyahara Hoshi, the leader of her clan. The marriage resulted in an interesting arrangement at the end of the war. Hoshi would become the head of her clan, officially, which would replace the Cho as ruling over the lands of Yamaguchi. All children would then take the Miyahara name. The clan now has to balance their mixed culture, with the fact that many of Japan's old nobility seek to reclaim their lost territories.

I don't currently have access to editing software but I'd like to claim the island Yakushima
Name: Yatowa reta ken

Current Ruler: Tsuinburēdo
Age 20

Expected Heir: Zoro

Type of Government: Pirate Clan

Capital: Yakushima

History: (Subject to Future Embellisment)
Before the Mongol invasion he was part of a small clan of naval experts who excelled in boarding boats going into close combat. When the mongol invasion came his clan was among the first to set sail against them. unfortunately they were outnumbered and defeated. His ship was rammed and he was thrown from the boat and knocked unconscious. when he awoke he was aboard one of his ships that had escaped but he could not remember a thing. His crew told him who he was and everything else they could they also unfortunately told them that their clan was destroyed by the mongols and he was the last remaining member. His lands burned his family gone all that stuck with him was his immense talent for sword fighting and a few of his ships that managed to escape.

They fled to the small island of Yakushima where they would call home. As the invasion continued he raided their supplies sank ships and harassed the mongols anyway he could. As time passed he started to make Yakushima his new territory bringing people who lived on his lands from before the invasion that he managed to find. By the time the mongols had started to turn for home he had made Yakushima into a thriving little port town that he now claimed his new home. Still when the invasion was truly done he saw what his home was becoming and new war was coming. He would not see his lands burned again nor his people killed but he still wanted to do his part to hopefully bring peace to his homeland. He trained his men hard sailing and fighting alike he would become a roving band of mercenary's for hire or a band of raiding pirates whatever he saw was more beneficial.

Honestly Wlady controls himself too well. Now his grandson.....
Yeah but Berserkers aren't exclusively out and out monsters, more than a few Berserkers are Servants who are normally other classes but have everything bad about them turned up to 10 when they roll Berserker. Berserker Wladyslaw would basically be him but without any of the restraint.

As I said not too familiar with it.
Now Drifters on the other hand.....

All i know is whoever is playing Date @Sidheach better strap exhaust pipes to your horses and start shouting in engrish about "da Party"

Now why would we BOTH have one eye?
One of those weird coincidences that gets commented on constantly in history books and leads amateur historians to concoct wild theories about how they're both the same person or some rubbish like that? You know, like the one where Tokugawa Ieyasu actually died and was replaced by a lookalike actor at one point.
