The Land of the Red Fraction - An Arthurverse Tale - Claims and Discussion Thread

Also we still need the two mains

Also my knowledge on Japan comes from Shogun II Total War, Extra Histories, and whatever Wikipedia articles I can find as well as my relatives so if I behave weirdly please forgive me. :p

Currently debating what characters I should use as base for npc.
Only thing that's clear that all npc pirates will be from One Piece. :p

Nothing is sane in Japan, we're talking about the place that made Shingen Takeda into a busty redhead.
I fail to see the issue.
Its okay, the universe hates me too.

Well shit.

Someone does need to play the False Emperor and the Shogun.
The Emperor isn't false. Just mislead and out of his depth. Obviously stress has affected the Son of Heaven to the extent that a long relaxing stay in confined apartments are required whilst his most loyal retainers carry out the task of running his nation for him.

Since I have recently been having fun digging out my old predictions for the Arthurverse and laugh at how right/wrong I was, let me make a bold prediction:
Knowing the player base I see three ways this game plays out:
1. Everyone is super pragmatic and after a few turns settles into a compromise defeating the whole point of a Sengoku Jidai game.
2. Japan stays disunited and at games end it looks like several instead of one proto state has formed on the archipelago.
3. Following years of war Japan is united but due to several players having big regional power bases and the intense Rping such a game would have created Japan basically is Westeros.

I would argue two or three.

Apropos of a map someone send me and the map Ceslas posted. Please do not edited the size of the map and do make a black border around your territory. That will make it easier for me to edit them together.

Pretty sure that covers most the bases.

Therefore i propose we all surrender to the Ainu and begin preparations to invade Korea.

Okay now for a more bold prediction: no matter what faction Sidheach picks he will win. Even if he loses he still will have won.

Not with that attitude.
Besides, it's not like Yi will appear over 200 years early to save his homeland.

Korea despite being an incompetent sad sack repulsed the veterans of the Sengoku Jidai despite Japan winning tons of land battles. Not to mention the Yuan will intervene and be far more effective then the Ming.

1. It will take longer than that for me to conquer Kyushu (and possibly more).
2. Possible
3. Very possible.

I have edited the map accordingly.

>Attempt at foreign contact detected.
>Meteorite.exe has been initiated
I'm not planning to contact anyone. I'm just planning to be very friendly with the local smugglers.

Yes.

And that's why you will win.
