The Dragon Roars: A KMT Quest

[X] Plan DemCent Revolutionary Pragmatism
-[X] [INDOCHINA] Agree to the Treaty, but Reject the New Provisions.
-[X] [VNQPH] Agree to the formation of the new organization, but withhold resources.
-[X] [FOREIGN] The Empire of Germany
-[X] [FOREIGN] The Empire of Japan
-[X] KMT - Revolutionary Group

People who have voted for my plan! Changing my vote so that it's more in line with the DemCent line. No secret rejection, just full on rejection of the new provisions this time. Keeping Japan because I was surprised to see so much support for it. But to keep things in perspective, here's some points on why you should vote for a plan with the UASR in it in case you were of two minds. They're a great choice as well.
  • Great long-term ally. Only revolutionary government that isn't on a Great Powers watchlist (UPU).
  • Massive Industrial base. Will bring a lot of support in terms of trade and industrial expertise.
  • Big navy. Might be helpful in a future war with Japan. Not now though because of their own reconstruction and isolationist bent.
Japan's more of an immediate threat which we might delay through negotiations which is why I'm picking it. As for the treaty change, it's really a matter of do we blatantly fund insurgencies in French colonies or do we make a deal we have no intent on following through and risking a greater burst of French displeasure in the future. We piss off the French either way.

I love democratic centralism, being a party backbencher is sweet.

KMT: "Maybe we could talk with Japan?"
NPCs: "We don't understand what you're saying."

There are sixteen total voting blocks, twelve of which only have a single vote each. Pain.
EDIT: Actually looking closer at least a couple of those are from the vote tally not grouping things together properly. That makes it ten blocks, five of which only have a single vote.

The split of votes between mainline plans are 10, 3, 1, 1. For revolutionary plans they are 4, 4, 2, 2, 1, 1. The independents only have the 1 vote. So this is a massive mess that's going to end up causing issues with the revolutionary group alright.

Oh huh there's an actual mainline plan now.

I'm going to guess right now that this fractured vote is going to end up doing bad things to the various KMT factions stability except for the independents. The plurality party whip system does mean that we're not going to end up in a deadlock at least in theory, but there will be consequences for how split the votes have been. Please consider switching your votes for [] Plan As Agreed upon by DemCent, Revolutionary so that the revolutionary group doesn't immediately implode?

"Plan DemCent Revolutionary Pragmatism" differs from "Plan As Agreed upon by DemCent" by one point.
"Plan Revolutionary Pragmatism v2 is different" by two points. Unpleasant, but not critical.

The only troublemakers are "Plan Instringent Internationalism", but considering the number of people who voted for the Revolutionary Group in absolute numbers, this is about 20 people. A loud minority that can be neglected.
