The Century of Lights - 1700 NG

It has begun.
The gears of war have been soaked with blood, which only aids them.
More blood for the blood god!

I'm declaring Spain a NPC as it's been a while since I got anything from the player.

Because of this now all the nations on the French side are NPC, so I really need to fill those, if anyone is interested just say it here.

I could double as Bavaria, or as the Hungarian rebels. Both would not offer any advantage to my original faction.

I can submit war plans and handle diplomacy for Spain for the duration of the war. It is better for the game if the major powers are active.

How in the world does Venice have over 60,000 men when the whole of Sweden barely raises that much

It's the numbers I was given. 20,000 of those are militia and 12,000 of those are mercenaries.

Beyond that I have 18,500 Regular Infantry, 1,600 Non-Mercenary Cavalry, and 8,800 Marines

I may not have much territory, but what I have is densely populated, I also am supplementing with lots of merc troops, which Sweden isn't using. And Militia, which I don't think Sweden has even raised yet

On a similar note, how on earth do you have enough deepwater merchant ships to trade with a China?

It would take a bloody long time though, no?

Yeah, but I have enough merchant ships to make it worth it. It basically functions on the same principles as the Spanish Treasure Fleet does. I send a bunch of ships out every year with muskets and they trade those for porcelain and silk, and they head back with high value trade goods.

Interesting... I can see why you might want to do that.
