The Centipede's Dilemma [Exalted Kung Fu Quest]

[X] An older man with a long, flowing white beard, wearing saffron-yellow robes and old, much-worn sandals.

[x] A man in his middle age, thin spectacles framing his weary face, clad in the attire of a funerarian from distant Sijan.

A little comfort and questioning, but not the full catharsis of re-meeting Ruvia yet sounds about right I think.

Just give me goth boys, tbh.

By the way, really not feeling good about that technique (which is probably Functioning As Intended by the QM). Let's try not to get in situations where we have to quite literally ruin someone's life too often, if we can avoid it.

Well, the thing is... It wouldn't ruin most lives.

Like, hit Marrow with it, and he'd be basically fine, albeit justifiably pissed off and a lot less able to defend himself. It wouldn't do anything at all to most of the villagers. Even most of the disciples would be OK eventually, although it would still be an incredibly shitty experience for a long time.

It's not meant to hurt people who are, well, functional people. The ones it ruins are the ones who have honed themselves into weapons, abandoned their passions and ambitions beyond being gud at fite. And honestly, kinda fuck those people, they need a hobby besides "learning to kill dudes more better" anyways.

But yeah, those points aside, it is still super morally dubious and absolutely not a designated good person power. I love it.

Hmmmmmmmm. I had been drawn like a moth to the flame by the mysterious allure of the stinky youth, but I have wandered around long enough to arrive at a new destination.
