    . . . What is a bedroom?

    For many; its a place where you merely sleep.

    As for Eve, a young, pubescent girl. A bedroom is more than place where you merely sleep. It is your safe place. One's protective bubble; against a scary and frightening world.

    That's why the girl in question; hid within a fort of comfy pillows, while being wrapped up in a blanket. An observer, could casually say she's quite comfortable, but, she really, isn't. Why? Because Eve is certain that somewhere in her supposed place of solace, she was being actively watched. For that reason, alone, she couldn't sleep a wink.

    And currently, its 5:00 am in the morning.

    Like clockwork, in about fifteen minutes. Dr. Julius, and few of his trusty assistants, would come wake her up early. It was a rather routine thing. With Dr. Julius being insufferably irritable and irate; barking snappy orders at frightened abides.

    Fifteen. . .

    Ten. . .

    Five. . .

    And Eve's door goes flying open with a roaring clamor. A cute, "Eeek!?" escapes her lips, at the suddenness of Dr. Julius's charge.

    The man stops abruptly and stares her down. His lips curling into a bigger frown; than he already had.

    ". . . Who was the designated caretaker, yesterday?"

    His voiced oozed venom and his assistants paled. One of them, however, did squawk, with a frightful energy.

    "It was C-clarence, sir!"

    "Ah, right." His frown did a complete 180 before it twists in a snarl of hate and rage, "HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES DID I TELL YOU MORONS TO GIVE HER GOD DAMN SLEEPING MEDICATION, YOU IGNORANT SHITS!"

    He turns and chucks his clipboard at the poor fellow to his left, screaming bloody murder.

    "I'M SURROUNDED BY IDIOTS AND MORONS AND SHIT-FOR-BRAINS!"

    "GET THE FUCK OUT! ALL OF YOU! SCRAM, YOU USELESS SHITS!"

    Fearing for their very lives; they ran. Bolting for the door. Leaving just the two; an irate doctor and a frighten girl.

    Calming himself, or at least attempting so. Dr. Julius quickly mutters a good thirty or so curses, and something about acquiring a bigger cup of coffee. Before, turning his attention utterly to Eve.

    "Alright."

    "It seems we're off to a great start. . ."

    He tries to smile reassuringly; but it still comes off as hostile and strained.

    "Eve, you and I, have a big day, today, y'know?" He nods to himself, "We will discuss this during breakfast; speaking of which. . . I'm sure you're pretty hungry too. Anything you want to eat? I will have our cooks prepare it, at once."

    [] Sink into your pillow-fort some more; hopefully the scary man will go away on his own.
    [] Get out of bed; ask for something specific meal-wise?

    He never just goes away.

    She's probably fairly hungry after a night awake, so she might be up for anything to eat. Or she's so stressed and tired she lost her appetite.

    ... Kind of wishing we had homicidal. I have no idea what to do with attachment other than become a Yandere. A Paranoid Yandere... yikes.

    Huh, I wonder how many caretakers she has gotten attached to that suddenly... vanish, when they screwed up. Traumatized as well then?

    Attachment Complex. The first person genuinely nice to us, and yes it will probably need to be genuine because Paranoia is a hell of a drug for reading people (trust me on that, and I'm autistic as well), will probably get our... scarily devoted levels of loyalty.

    And then they die, and we get the homicidal trait at a low level. Rinse, repeat, until the Magical Girls come along and we're even more of a broken wreck of a person. Thing. Person-Thing.

    I forget where I was going with this.

    ... End-game we're Adorjan?

    Kind of, I was thinking it would be something of a "Get Attached" => "They Die" => "Murderous/Deranged Rampage on their killer(s)" which would kill our handlers probably, but after we got to that point we'd probably have been burned enough that we progress into "Get Attached" => "We Kill them so they can never leave us, because they will leave or be taken from us (paranoia)"
