Against your better judgement, you slink away from your corner.
Still keeping your distance, you reach out for the girl. Here's to hoping things won't go too poorly. Giving your
best 'reassuring' smile you can possibly muster, you speak up.
"W-why are you crying?"
She startles, and you jump back. Clutching Pinaka tighter. Perphaps, maybe, it would have been better to simply shoot her, while her back was turned? Can't do that now, unfortunately.
Her expression did quite an 180 unbelievably enough.
That worrying smile turned into a breathless gasp as her brown eyes bulged out in abject terror; for a moment, you thought she'll scream. Instead, she crouched down, with her hands covering her head, shivering.
That wasn't quite the reaction you half-expected.
But it wasn't an unwelcome one.
". . . Are you okay?" You smile gently at her with bit more confidence than before.
"D-d-d-don't huuuuuuurt m-me!"
"Hey, don't worry."
". . . I'm not going to hurt you."
When you smile again, she flinches. "Y-you promise?"
"I promise." You lie. You'll gladly slit throat if need be.
She stops flinching as much. Still crouching, however, the girl looks up at you. "W-what do you w-w-want t-then?" She sniffles, and tries to calm down her sobbing.
"Did you kill them?"
It wasn't even a question at this point. She clearly did it. But would she-
"Y-yes. . ."
That was quick. "Why?"
"T-t-they're bullies-s. They p-pick on me always and t-try to hurt m-m-me, so I. . ." With a growing smile on her face, ". . . k-killed t-t-them all." She looked so smug about it too.
"I see. . ." This is not painting a good picture here; at least she wasn't attacking you.
"Emily."
"Er, what?"
"My n-n-name is Emily, ah, y-yours?"
You grimace mentally. Should you or should not? Emily looks at you so brightly, its off-putting. Maybe you're overthinking it? What is a name, anyway?

There's still the Noise situation ontop of this mess. If she's a Relic user like you; maybe you can enlist her aid? That's assuming she's willing to help. What to do. . .
[] Convince Emily to join you?

[] Leave her be. This area is clear.
[] On second thought, maybe it would be better if she just died. Compared to the Noise, she's the bigger threat altogether.
