According to the timeline Alt died in 2013 in the OG timeline, but we may have pushed that back a few months with our actions to 2014. Johnny leads a riot to storm Arasaka's first tower then flees with the Aldecaldos. Then in 2023 Johnny returns to bomb Arasaka's rebuilt tower in vengeance for Alt. In 2025, AI Cunningham establishes her net haven in Hong Kong.
 
Fuck yeah. Goddamn my timing is great. Shame the kids aren't along for the ride, but they don't have guns yet anyways.

So, Part of the Alt Rescue now. Time to save the city from a Johnny and Arasaka clashing by building Malcolm or Johnny a heavy armor with the best shit out of rare parts and busting in Arasaka's door with the hellspitter.

Also, can just say, that I wanted a building of our own from the start, and now we have it in just 8 turns? Goals people. Their how you win, and what separates us from Johnny and Alt.

Unfortunately I think we are about to be roped into alt rescue, so we'll be making a heavy armor for Johnny to tank Arasaka with for a less city wreck confrontation by making an all out assault possible without half the city going up in flames.

Yeah. Best to sit on it. It's not like there are a lot of people in the city who wouldn't be just as bad if they took it over. Most Superintendents are Corpo stooges anyway.

On the bright side, we have a top security ex Arasaka building to take alt to when we rescue her where it'll take a lot to grab her from again.

No way Johnny is going to wear anything we make when we are walking in with his big balls and plot armor.

Esspecially when we are going to need to protect ourself from our little raid into hostile territory.

Also: Arasaka… oh the things I'm about to do to that Corp. :V

Really? Johnny gets plot armor? That's bullshit. Let him eat the bullets like a man for his Hubris and need alt to save his ass at the end of the mission.

Glad your having fun, as long as the city ain't burning down.
 
Part of me wants Silverhand to not only be aware of his resemblance to Keanu Reeves, but be a fan of Reeves as well.

The timeline may have diverged in the 80's but honestly we can easily say that the Matrix films still happened. Just that they went with the "using human brains for processing power" concept instead of the "human battery" concept.
 
Well Keanu was a good man who has fallen on hard times since bds rolled out… but…

He might have a career ressurection from a little known indie film called John Wick.
 
Oooh, now we should become the prime real estate owner of Night City ! We will rack up money like mad and if we keep good standards and not price-gouging people, acquiring in the process a support base against the rest of the city !

Not exactly… there are other things going on that require them elsewhere.

Like Arasaka academy getting raided like it's a fucking John wick film and they need to protect the small beans from being kidnapped and brainwashed by the big bad.

Also Malcolm is South African and really is having this flashbacks to the Militech death squads roaming the streets Of Johannesburg. So Arasaka doing the same thing to a school of their underlings is… fucked up.
