Deviations from Canon: Embracing spaceflight in greater extent prior to the arrival of the T'au have used Warspheres to colonize a number of planets, in addition to having taken on the role of protector for a scattering of human worlds. These human providing the technical prowess provided in canon by the T'au. The Kroot serve no foreign masters as a whole, though mercenary work is a glorious and delicious tradition.

Background: The Wolf Lord of Fenris was bored. For years he had fought, conquered, and ravaged his enemies for what seemed like decades. Their armies large and their warriors fierce. Yet every army the Wolf lord faced, he beat. He won battle after battle duel after duel. Each duel slowly made the Wolf Lord sallow. The fights to him began to seem pointless, the battles no longer giving him the feeling of pride for each victory. So when the Wolf Lord united Fenris under his banner, the victory seemed almost meaningless to him.

Then they arrived, warriors from the stars descended upon the world of Fenris. Leman finally found a foe worth challenging. A battle ensued between the Wolf Lord and these warriors. He felled many a warrior before their leader (a large, well armored one). He was told of a place called Terra and that the warriors came from there to find him and fight WITH him against foes of equal stature. Russ, upon hearing that there are more foes out there, mobilized his war hosts and embarked on a crusade of conquest and destruction

    @Atomicwalrus I can't give you Dark Eldar but there are Craftworlds free if you want them. They're basically the same only with 90% less BDSM.

    Everyone else, if your Claims weren't accepted, feel free to claim something that is still open. If you were given a Claim that you do not want, you can ask to change it or even swap with other players if they are willing.

    Those who had their Claims accepted, please fill in your Almanac in the Almanac Thread within the next 24hrs. No one will be allowed to post in the IC Thread until they have done so.

    • Xenos Empire: The Raderötch Realm/Rad-Zone
    (If Xenos) Species Description: Large Cockroaches that can use tools and stuff.
    Overview: The Raderötch are a race of xenophobic sapiant cockroaches that live on rad-worlds, eternal nuclear wastelands basically. They exist in a sort-of-hivemind dominated by priest-psykers which preach about strange alien gods. They don't seem to be the chaos gods, so that's something at least. They are a countless swarm that exists in continuous aggression with their alien neighbors. They like to borrow deep tunnels into their worlds as well, and in the wastes and deep tunnels lie strangely powerful mutants and horrid creatures mortal men should not see. The Species also seems to exude nuclear radiation, especially when their bodies decay. This can lead to...Well, there's a reason why their main tactic usually is "drown them in bodies!" All in all, they're a scourge on the galaxy that wants to turn it into a radioactive hellzone.

    @Sidheach So do all the Primarchs already have their legions with them? I'd have thought given the early timeframe that all the legions were still on Terra however some of these claims depict legions already with their Primarch. Would Mortarion already have his Astartes with him for some reason?

    All Primarchs have their Legions and control of their Sector.
     
    I should point out that the Sorcery referred to in my almanac is more akin to magic from WHFB than actual full on Chaos Sorcery. Just to flavor it differently from Chaos Sorcery.
