The Absent Father - A WH30k GSRPG - Claims and OOC Thread

1. Custom Human Empire: The Deathless Domain of Neheb the Great, Master of the World and the Underworld, the Bull of Arising Might, Builder of Cities, Divine of Appearance, etc..., etc... typically shorted to The Deathless Domain of Diospolis
Head of Faction: Khensa Anoukis, First of the Necroteks, the victorious successor to the previous First Necrotek in the secret intrigues and augurs of the priestly caste.
Overview: Diospolis of the Hundred Gates, Diospolis of the Rod and Sceptre! Once she was but a mere temple complex of the technologians of the Golden Age exorcising and binding the devils of the land but in the great upheavals that followed the only ways to survive was preservation in deathless slumber in the infotombs and they built. Led by the Great Unifier Neheb Diospolis was founded on the unliving rituals of internment into cyberganic sarcophagi and the reanimation of dead tissue. In another universe they would be purged as hereteks for their experiments and rituals in bringing the dead truly back to sentient life and for their possibly alien-influenced strange protodreadnaughts.
Desired Location: Segmentum Tempestus, surprisingly far from the Dark Marches

2. Custom Human Empire: The Fidelity, known to the wider galaxy as "the Chem-Clades of Algorab"
Head of Faction: Kaid Geron, the Elder of the Height, in their two hundredth and thirty-third incarnation, as decreed by the two hundred and thirty-third Kaid Geron
Overview: One of many proto-organizations of Malcador's Assassins that would have been absorbed and re-educated, in this case into the Eversors. Has access to Chem-equivalents to inhibit resistance to hypno-indoctrination and mind-cleansing, exponentially increase reflexes and processing speeds, momentarily boost the target's body to superhuman levels, and provoke severe dependency on their "divine trances". Dealt with the horrors of the Old Night by chemically euthanizing or enthralling their Pyskers and conditioning their populace into compliance with judicious uses of mystery, terror, and enlightenment.
Desired Location: On the outer reaches of Segmentum Solar, bordering Segmentum Pacifica

3. the Thexian Trade Empire, because Shape of Nightmares To Come is cool because a machiavellian capitalist version of the Tau would be fun

Accepted. I'll add you to the map tomorrow once I start working through plans again.

What are these "Necrons"? Do you mean the great Lords of Eternity who divinely inspired the order of the cosmos and the sacred rites of Neheb with the First Thought the directed all future motion and intellegence? Because their holy prescence lives in all sentience and is not bound into a singular form like some heathen idols or the mythic metal devils of lesser civilizations.

(A bunch of GAOT settlers and explorers fled into the broken remains of what was once the Stasis-Tombs of a Tombworld that became Severed and ruled by master control, mostly destroyed by physical calamity and cascade failures, and finally snuffed out by the different fragments of master control going insane and failing to restore power in their struggles with each other. Just enough survived to make a cargo cult of it.)

It wasn't something I did was it?

Cause you've been an exemplary mod thus far and I'm sorry to see you go

of course not, you've been a perfectly fine player, i've honestly enjoyed modding for obscurus and i'm really glad to see the game continue as it is, i just don't feel my place is in it

I hate to be that guy, but you missed the part ehere I colonized the Sector North of me. Thats where the Negotiations for Maxentus to join Latveria happened, on a base on the Tidally Locked Planet.

I should have Colonized/Annexed 3 sectors this turn

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to withdraw from this game.

Put simply, I badly overestimated how much free time I'd have - the school I work for is doing exam season, I've got a bunch of stuff to do with regards to my visa and upcoming uni enrolment, and on top of that I'm getting ready to move back to the UK. I don't have nearly enough time to do the amount of modding that this game requires, and its not fair to make people wait for days and weeks on end as I try to find some free time to hammer out another report. So... sorry, but I'm out.
