Question for our Batman player. What changed in this alternate universe that Bruce decided to go with a small team instead of solo?
 
Well~ I think our batman should have the honor of starting us off.

ill play along with what's decided regarding background. If they know of each other or whatevs~
 
The unfortunate reality is, I cannot guarantee my availability until Tuesday. Tomorrow/today, depending on your time zone, may be too busy for me.

Go ahead without me, is what I'm saying, and I don't know when I'll follow. Only sounding more human and less robot, beep boop bop

I guess people who were going to be vigilantes anyway, at a time when he wasn't nearly as grumpy and cynical.

Edit: Right now i'm trying to figure out how to even start my OP. @Teron i guess i could make you the job offer?

If anyone else has an idea of how they meet the Batman, just tag me when you post in the IC.

I guess i'll stand on a rooftop so i can speak to the other known vigilante in the city.
FYI @Crow @AProcrastinator if you want to run into the Batman, i'm going to need you to come up with an idea, because i've got nothing. Just tag me when you do, because otherwise once i've dealt with Hudson, i'm going after Gordon and Dent.
 
Just keep in mind Bruce's tech is pretty limited right now. I'm not going to argue the white eyes thing since it's one of his signature things even in costumes that blatantly don't have Bat-vision lenses. But don't expect X-Ray vision right now. :p

This was it. Those 15 minutes of fame I was searching for my entire life. Forget the silver screen, this was so much better. So it was that the Cavalier was born. With the crime-rate in this city, it was simple. Just discreetly hang around and sooner or later you'll find a crime. I kept simple crimes like purse snatchers and smash & grabs. Maybe a slightly more organized hold up at times, but that was about it. The last thing I wanted was to tangle with the likes of the Falcones or the Maronis. Besides, this small time gig I had was good enough. Basking in the adoration of the crowds when I made a dramatic entrance and whipped my rapier out...it was so addicting and made me forget who I really was..

I mean, i'm pretty sure you've already gone through character development, but it's also in character for me to tell you you've been doing it wrong before offering to help you do it right.

Oh I was gonna have Kate having seen Bruce get with ol pepenguin in her civies but since I took too long in uni guess I'll come up with something else .

Another idea was Kate paying a visit to Wayne mannor maybe or maybe she's having a trial run through Gothams convenient skyscrappers?

Both sound fine. Nothing says the current posts need to be in chronological order so long as it kind of makes sense, right? @KnightDisciple ?

Try not to muck the timeline up too much, but yeah we can stay fuzzy right now.
Really, any "downtime" stuff will probably be a bit fuzzy. If ya'll want to make notes about it being X or Y day, I'll add a Month and Day to the opening post, and you can work from there.

But either intro for Kate works.

If possible I'd like the rooftop scene to go on for one more post. I have some IC questions to ask Bats that will hopefully allow me to develop my character some more.

whew. sorry sorry. I got ganged upon by some kids yesterday and had to exhaust them first and all..

Now let me just catch up and Ill write the intro to Kate.
 
I've got a post up too now - finally! And I'm available all the rest of today, on the off-chance anyone wanted to encounter a cat burglar.
