I was about to compare the ability to that literary classic, Flatland. Taylor and Varga are, at this point, two fingers on the same 5th dimensional hand.

But us poor 3d humans can't see the hand, only the individual fingers.

I was going to post the omake tonight, but I just went through some remarkably painful physiotherapy today. I am going to ignore doctor's orders and have several stiff drinks.

See you all tomorrow with the omake (which MPPI has blessed, sort of.)

Peace.

Hm. I wonder what would happen if they offered Dinah/Prospect a neural enhancement to deal with her Thinker headaches, and then the next day the PRT/Protectorate is all going "oh, bloody hell, the lizards are Trump 6 as well" because they've basically removed Dinah's headaches and made her power more versatile otherwise...

... I'm a bit fuzzy on the details but when they hide Amy's truck, does Taylor put an EDM box over it?

If so, have they considered upgrading to a Family Armor Storage device? Phase one is a button, phase 2 is a concealing box Solid Snake would approve of, with an optional phase 3 of armored tank?

So is Taylor more or less scary than what Miss Malitia or Victoria believe, is the Truth scarier than fiction at this point?

The really frightening thing people aren't considering is that the difficulty is mainly in moving two bodies at the same time; the maintenance of portal between the two appears to be mostly incidental.

That means she could open a portal to just about anywhere within her range...and then use her matter creation power from there. Probably without sticking more than a fingernail through.

I don't think the analogy is quite correct. I mean, Taylor and Varga can't read minds. Although they probably could fake it pretty well.

Side note: Coil is so unbelievably screwed.

Diagonal note: Coil already was so unbelievably screwed. This just adds another level of WTF to it. I mean now Raptaur AND Saurial can take part in the raid.

EDIT: Fixed my quote brackets

That would explain things, yes.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the PRT having all its various underlings keep away from the Family as much as possible? Pretty sure Vista said something to that effect.

When she visited.

Emily Piggot is of the opinion that Wards should be kept away from the Family to protect their impressionable and delicate little minds, even though she's definitely beginning to respect the big lizards.

Vista is of a substantially different opinion, subsequently proving the director correct :D

Kid Win at least would also like to do the same, but is more respectful of authority.

However, that said, Dinah isn't officially out as a Ward yet, with no assigned duty, and is visiting socially with her mother. There isn't much the director can actually do about it even if she knew.

Which she doesn't...

This will come up soon.

I vote for Pern style teleporting dragons. Create some liquid nitrogen to mimic the blast of cold.

Bringing a dragonrider along will be tricky though.

Yes. The Wards specifically. So?

...

Oh, let me guess... Dinah.

Besides what Mr. Author said, the order applies to the Wards. But not their civilian identities. People with no apparent powers do not fall under those orders specifically. So Missy Biron could visit BBFO without repercussions. Saying that the PRT can order officially Ms. Missy Biron not to visit the Family would imply she's under PRT jurisdiction, which would out her as a cape. That goes against the unwritten rules. So, theoretically Wards could visit BBFO with no repercussions, as long as their civilian identity does not get compromised as a Ward.

Of course, taking advantage of this loophole would bring "unofficial" repercussions on the Ward using it. Vista is a veteran cape and would never take advantage of it, because she's aware that while not breaking the letter of the order, it actually breaks its spirit. Cloak is not a loophole, she's actually a multidimensional and polidirectional way to take both the letter and the spirit of the order and make them their bitch.

Ms. Dinah Alcott, is not yet officially a Ward, and it's possible that no one has thought about making her aware of the outstanding order against Wards visiting the Family. So, for the moment, Dinah Alcott can visit the Family, and the most likely outcome is that she will be told not to do it again.

EDIT: I was thinking a little more on Dinah, and... Well... The fact that her civilian identity has met the Family due to social relations, may make a little more palatable some irregular contact between them. If Director Piggot was a Coil-like devious mind, she might try to use that to "infiltrate" the Family and gain additional intel. But she is smarter than Coil, so I guess she'd maintain the order, and tell her to keep any interactions to a minimum, or at least to a socially acceptable kind of ostracism. Basically "yes, you know them, but stay away from them as much as you can". Because the abrupt change of behavior from Family Fangirl to ignoring them would arise suspicions. too.

Wow man I have to say these last chapters have made me actually have to stop reading and just go outside and calm down from laughing hysterically and try to keep it to chuckles so my neighbors don't think I am crazier than I already am.:rofl: Keep up the great work. :)

These last few chapters have been absolutely hilarious!

Please, sir, I want some more...

On a bit of a tangent, what's happening with Lung and Kaiser these days? Given that the Merchants have been Familied out of existence, I imagine that the ABB and E88 are all feeling a tad nervous...

Lung is busy drowning his sorrows at the Captain's Table bar. (His best/only friend is dead, and he's no longer the biggest lizard in town)
Kaiser is probably on a ski junket in Colorado. (somewhere very very far away from the water at least)
