There's a part of me that really, really wants to try to see if we can't form some kind of alliance with the humans, at least temporarily. It would certainly be amusing to try, if nothing else.

Alternatively, it could prove a means of long-term subterfuge. First we ally with the humans, then, depending on how it works out, we get ready to stab them in the back if we decide we don't like them later and/or we decide we don't need them as our friends anymore.

Enjou, you are a genius. I was going to suggest just scattering the rest of the bones of the Thanators around outside with the skulls, but this.... Genius! Predalien will like this I think. Queen is Hive, Queen is Life!

Let's honour the Xenomorph who has put the most struggle and work into making this planet hospitable to us by naming this Hive after it. We have plenty of other places to create further dens if we want cool names... That and after some thought, why would Xenomorphs go for complex names with human meanings behind them? We aren't even close to human, except for that itty bit that came from chestbursting out of some.

The Prowler was sent out to get the Drone and then come back. It doesn't want to be kept from it's nap long, and honestly... I dont want to mess with humans yet. Not for a while. We might have the upper hand over them eventually, but not now. Humans are a tricky lot, and things have always gone wonky around them. ALWAYS!

We got a enemy hunting party out looking for us, lets not make it easier than it has to be for them. Nor do we need to piss of another faction, get our drone out so we get more xenopower back at the lair. And the Predalien should have a spot for both those skulls and having a bigger hive is good now that we will soon have a queen operational.

Are you guys sure we want to make the Predalien jealous of our queen? Because the queen probably doesn't care about the skulls but the Predalien does...

I'm not sure whether or not internal conflict is possible in this quest but do we really have a reason to test that now?

Jealous? Queen is Hive! Queen is Life! The Queen might not care, but it is a great honor to provide a Skull Throne for the Queen. All who look upon the Queen will see the glorious Skull Throne, constructed with skulls the Predalien brought.

That's why I'm not in favor of a skull throne.

Plus, Queens don't really use thrones in the Alienverse.
 
I kinda thought it was a good idea since the Predator species seems to use the skulls as decoration ranging from decorating their ships with them to the clothes and weapons that they use.

I thought it might make sense that our Predalien has this same sort of inclination as it seems to share the Predator species' inclination for honourable combat. It would make sense for it to have some of the Prdeator's other inclinations as well, right? And having it's best kills on this planet be used as a place of rest for it's Queen, it's leader, would be seen as a great thing of honour for it in this case, I should think.

Or am I just thinking and assuming too much?

Hard to say. Personally, my plan is tell the PredAlien:

"OK, you can keep skulls of worthy prey, ones that put up a good battle, and they go in a little alcove you can sleep in and study on occasion. We keep the rest for decoration."

That is why the the skulls came up at all yes. But their point is to showcase the Predators personal kills (I'm guessing he thinks the Thanathors still count as his kills)... Which makes a shared 'skull throne' counterproductive.

We have only one Predalien here and there will likely only ever be one unless Predators start showing up to be hosts. All skulls for the skull throne will come from it.

That sounds good too. I am going to keep my vote as it is now, but if the Predalien shows a dislike for the Skull Throne then it is relatively easy to just tale those to two skulls and place them in a study den for the Predalien later.

I just want to figure out a bit more of the Predalien's likes and dislikes now rather than later. Figure out how it's mind and psyche works a little, test what it tolerates and what it doesn't. I want to help keep it satisfied in it the Overmind Hive and not rebel later on. It is one of the best fighters we got and I wanna keep it around and not risk it running off and starting it's own hive if it gets too unhappy.
