Plan Space Jawa is a Go! I like this plan because of the buddy system. Given how fickle the dice are, I like the idea of making sure to have a support system in place in preperation for 'accidents'... That and going solo is how most Xenos tend to die, isn't it? I think that I am right in those regards, but eh... I'm not a 100% certain.

The Days is almost over! Construction work is going fine! But...

If you decided to send two drones away from the Hive [and construction work] You need to decide which of the following was left halfways done, you are taking more than half your workers outside the hive after all.

Briefly as I'm a bit tired today and have a bit of reports to finish;

Girl says hello to the drones when they are eating

Girl says "Don't leave!" cue puppy dog eyes right before the predalien and her go romping through the forest

The two groups say essentially

Group 1 (ground leader): "Its a demon, kill it! Lets make an example of it" or something like that

Group 2 (fancy hat air leader): "No we must save it!" or some other crap along the lines of we must not kill it

Old geezer says: "Morons!" and some other stuff as they devolve into a threeway argument

As said I'm a bit too tired today to really translate it all (QM could you give the quest folks a nice incentive to translate these things if you're planning on not giving spoilers as it is a bit of an effort to translate longer sentences without a fairly easy reverse translator).

Sneakiness is the game for now.

See what is going on... It is probably our Prowler being in trouble so if we bring our pet Na'vi we might get out of this without a fight.

And that might be a good idea, we don't really need to fight the Na'vi here. Skinny critters with little meat on them make poor prey and a large population of sentients is a enemy we don't need right now. And teaming up on the humans should be fun. :)

Because approaching the hat dude no matter how harmlessly is quite possibly going to be misinterpreted.

The hive mind doesn't seem optimal for assessing the location of members though (see the Prowler and drone getting lost) and it would be two big events happening at the same time...

So maybe, maybe not. Our Predalien is still our best asset for an unknown situation so either way sending it is good.

I chose to stall widening the tunnels mainly because it doesn't hamper our progress too much and because the fact that they are halfway done the job already implies that the tunnels are already widened more than they were previously.

    • The Prowler slowly falls down the tree. Meekly, it starts approaching the native with the biggest hat. It does not knows how to react, but he notices that everyone else stopped talking. Slowly, the Prowler nudges his head into the native side. Almost like if knowing what to do, the creature starts stroking the Xeno head.

    Then, the Xeno lays down in the ground and starts receiving pettings and scratches from all the blue thingies. It feels good. The Xeno starts purring, and all the Natives leave their difference aside as they treat the Xeno with kindness. The grumpy one even starts crying, and heartfully sobbing next to the Prowler.

    The Drone on the nearby trees comes out of it's hiding place, and is accepted with hugs and gifts. They even give him a hat!

    Suddenly, you hear a voice. Or something similar.

    It compels you, it ensnares you. It kisses you. It loves you.

    It promises you and your kind safe passage as it's favored sons.
