Yeah, it was preset and fixed to nuzlocke. This is to be expected from a non-kodomomuke world.
3.7 Danzo you slippery bastard

Saya grimaced. "Fine, I'll go back to the village with Gai."
"We'll bring back souvenirs!" Naruto exclaimed, earning a smack on the head from Jiraiya.
"This isn't a trip, Naruto! C'mon, you'll see her later in the village!" Jiraiya yelled. Saya and Gai ran back to the village. Saya stared at the sad corpse of her first friend Roselia and Gai squeezed her shoulder gently.
"Do not worry Saya, she did not die in vain. You are alive afterall, are you not?" Gai said. Saya blinked away her tears.
"Thanks Gai. I should see Han and tell him what happened," Saya said numbly. After burying Roselia in front of their apartment, she went to Han's apartment who was cooking something when she came in.
"Hey Saya, I'm making ..." He trailed off. "What the hell? Who did that to you? Was it a training session gone wrong?"
"Well, actually ..." Saya then explained what happened.
"I can't believe you went after a S-rank missing nin Saya! For one, you're not supposed to be out of the village, and two, that's a fucking S-rank missing nin! Ugh, if only I had long hair to pull!" He yelled.
"Sorry," Saya said, looking down. "But I think it would have gone a lot worse if I didn't go."
Han sighed. "Saya, just get me next time. I'll teach you a clone jutsu so this doesn't have to happen again."

Han taught her a earth clone jutsu in the week they waited for Jiraiya and company to come back. When they did, there was a huge fight within the village and Danzo managed to escape with some Root members. Sarutobi stepped down into retirement and Lady Tsunade became the Fifth hokage. However ...
"Uchiha Itachi said he'll only explain everything if Sayaka and Uchiha Sasuke talk to him," Inoichi Yamanaka explained. They were in the Hokage's office, with Team 7 and Saya.
"You can't take it from his mind?" Saya asked.
"Man's mind is a fucking steel trap maze. It's probably his sharingan, but entering it endangers even my life," Inoichi explained, with a sigh. "Hoshigaki Kisame, we're having some results, but he doesn't know much apparently."
"We have Itachi's report for the Sandaime, but there's still a lot we need to know," Tsunade said, frowning.
"I see," Sasuke said, quietly.
"You'll be completely safe. We've applied numerous seals to him and blindfolded him to make sure," Inoichi reassured. Probably unnecessarily, Saya thought looking at the unconcerned Sasuke.
"I'll talk to him," Sasuke said, suddenly.
"Alright, what do you say, Sayaka?" Inoichi asked.

"Okay, let's talk to him," Saya said resolutely. Inoichi nodded.
"I'll take you guys there now. We will be behind a one way mirror," Inoichi said. They went down to a plain building and went down to the basement. They proceeded to the deepest parts of the basement and went to a room that was heavily sealed. Inoichi undid the locks and opened the door to a sitting Itachi and a floating Darkrai. He had a blindfold with fuinjutsu on it as well as seals all over his body.
There were two chairs across from him that Saya and Sasuke took.
There was a long silence as Sasuke stared at Itachi and Saya fidgeted in her seat.
"Itachi why didn't ask for help?" Sasuke burst out.
Itachi laughed softly. "Sasuke, contrary to popular belief, I was not infallible. Back then, I felt everything on my shoulders. I solved it with the only resources I thought I had."
"And now?" Sasuke pushed.
Itachi grew quiet. " ... Yes I have some regrets."
"Like killing Roselia?" Saya cut in acidly. She was going to try to let Sasuke have his moment but she couldn't let go of the image of her fallen pokemon.
"I am sorry for your loss. It was due to the fact your Roselia drained half my chakra was the reason I jumped to such extreme measures." Itachi explained. "Sayaka ... You're from iwagakure, yes?"
Saya jerked.
"Your sword technique is a copy of iwagakure techniques. You might want to change that if you plan on hiding in konoha," Itachi advised.
"Itachi, I'm going to kill Danzo for you," Sasuke promised.
Itachi sighed. "Sasuke you should get strong for the upcoming trials but you don't have to kill Danzo for me. Do it for yourself if you must."
"Okay ... Are they treating you alright?" Sasuke asked, awkwardly.
"This chair is surprisingly comfortable," Itachi replied, equally awkward. "Sasuke this is a better fate than I expected for myself if I ever got captured by Konoha. Don't worry about me."
He shifted his gaze to Saya.
"Sayaka I must ask, what are these creatures? Darkrai has no chakra yet he sends me to sleep as if I was a child waiting in bed. Darkrai refuses to answer my questions."
"They're ..."
