So, while I am not inherently opposed to a write-in vote, this specific one isn't really workable.
The vote is how to cope with the trauma of hearing an entire sub-sector screaming in your mind, and specifically how to cope with it going forwards. Meditative focus, narcotic euphoria, biological adjustment or just toughing it out are all methods that can be pursued over the medium-to-long term, and give you the focus necessary to remain functional. Taking refuge in faith would only really be possible if Vincenzo was willing to near-constantly chant hymns to distract himself from the screaming, which isn't really viable when you're going to the Screaming Vortex.
There's also the thematic/personal issues with the fact that Vincenzo, at present, doesn't really have faith that the Emperor will protect him from something like this, or even that he deserves to be protected. Reconciling his experiences as a psyker (who the priests say should be burned) and his treatment at the hands of the Inquisition with his remaining faith is a pretty major undertaking, and he's not had the opportunity to do so yet or company that might approve/support him in doing so.
