Strange Tides

Would Isidorios have to do it personally?
His wife just happens to have the perfect skillset for that, if she were willing.
No, you can certainly order Semni to off her husband. As his heir is currently a babe in her arms, she would be the acting head of the Alexis family. Granted, that means a lot less then it would have back in Orchomenos, but it's still a nice step upwards in social rank.

So between social advantages and getting rid of her "beloved" husband, she wouldn't need any convincing for this.

-[X] Organize a proper court.
[X] Argurios
-[X] Start an Expedition
The immediate surroundings of Hyphyria are decently explored by now, but what lies beyond the mountains and the forests? It will require a decent force and quite some time to learn more about the lands, but it might yield interesting finds.

Told you we needed a diplomat first, well I certainly didn't expect such a situation from the start, I hoped that we would be only limited to internal problem, not diplomatic crisis with another faction and god dickery so soon.

Wow let's not arrange for his death, I have no problem killing a nuisance, and yes I can understand why someone would want to kill him, but what if we fail ? Or maybe even worse what if we succeed, we lose a heroic military figures this would affect moral of our citizen and might provoke a flood of rumors, but yes he's an asshole.

Now that some order has been reestablished in the military, it might be time to organize a better defense for Hyphyria. The lands around the city are full of hidden tracks and passages that could be used to move undetected, so patrolling them might make all the difference if foes approach. (Requires one action per area to set up.)

Yeah I don't think we should be killing anyone off before we get more hero units, but I guess the King of Dragons Pass solution* works too.

*This is send extraneous nobels exploring till they die and you get other nobels to replace them.

You know what? I knew better than to vote on approaching Argurios about this. What business does a king have to interfere with the lives of a high noble and his wife anyway?

We aren't even his father or uncle.

:(

I say we drop this immediately.

EDIT: Probably isn't a good idea to organize a court while sending Argurios off on a long expedition.
Can't see him being happy with being out of the loop.

We have been organzing it the last turn already when he was there and the mountain are an area of interest for us that need to be explored and secured for the resoucres within

I think he will understand it and appreciate the time from his meddlesome king and harpy of a wife

Could go either way. If he is aware of who is in the court beforehand, he might take it better, I think.

@Azel Will Argurios be around when we organize the courts? Or will he take off as soon as he can for any expedition actions we choose?

You are sending him with an understrength force into an area you already explored without any clear orders what to do.

He will definitely not take it well this time.

There is no telling when the court will be fully organised, and Argurios will be seriously out of the loop when he returns.

Ok then you guys should be more precise what is and what isn't an understrength Force and what we can explore in the first Place
Because as it is I can only work with what you guys are giving me

Hm. And it wouldn't trigger this part of the prophecy I'm sure:

We have a great interest in keeping our two primary assets happy and useful.
Or at least not working against each other.

We have every right to meddle.
Unfortunatly most here are coming from a quest where we also have the skill to do so, which is sorely lacking here.

Archers don't really receive as much respect as infantry in the bronze age. The bow is a coward's weapon.
Which is ultimately a result of them being effectively support troops. If archers get into a fight without infantry support, they most likely will be wiped out in short order.

Back when you had only two possible actions with the military, you've send half you forces on any one task, which amounted to 3-4 units. Sorry if that wasn't clear enough from the narrative. Bronze Age forces were either centered around a infantry backbone or chariot units and as you lack the latter and the terrain isn't that suitable for them anyway, you pretty much need to send either your Infantry or the Sailors unit along to have a decent force.

As for exploration targets, the option mentions a few things, but here are some suggestions:
- travel beyond the mountains to see what is on the other side
- travel around or through the Woodsfolk territory to see how far their realm extends
- travel through the lands of the northern villages to see how far it stretches and if there are other people father north
- travel further along the coastlines (requires Galleys)
- try to find the land of the Sardinians (requires Galleys)
@Azel sorry but what area do we need to patrol to secure the limestone quarry again? I thought it was the mountains.
The mountains, but that is "Establish Patrols", not "Expedition".

Okay thx for the info, will change my vote according to it when I'm back at home

Would appreciate it therefore if the vote wouldn't be failed within the Next 12-14 hours

-[X] Sacrifice to the Gods
The gods are fickle beings and demand obedience and sacrifices from mortal men. Those who do not make offerings to them tend to draw their ire while those willing to render unto them great riches might earn their love.

Gonna need some divine intervention to save this marriage.
