By the way, as things currently stand for me, I'm not going to be as active as I have been in previous games and the reason I signed up as reserve rather just joining outright. I'll try and be active, but I just got limited time and attention to devote to this right now. If things change in the future, I'll try and be more active, but for now, I'm just trying to get on top of things.

My current reads:
Rosen = Tentative lean scum
BB/Nictis = Tentative lean town.
1k = Tentative Town lean.
Everyone else is neutral.

I currently think that if either Nictis or Byzantine flip scum, then we should look at the other, but I don't believe if one is scum, the other has to be scum as well.

I also don't believe that Rosen and 1k would be scum together so since I got a scum read on Rosen, that makes 1k tentative town lean for me.

Having got some insider perspective on the fight between BB and the guy who I replaced, I believe it is town on town and there for have a tentative town lean on Nictis.
 
First of, it's sad to have two replacements but it makes no sense to force you to do something when you have no fun or risk your health. So hello to Oshha and Nictis.
In addition I'm kind of glad for the extension cause right now I don't really have a player I'd be really content to lynch. Still here are my current reads.
Warning: Major Hypocrit Warning

town lean:
- Dawiusz/Oshha: Tried to start an investigation as Newbie, backfired and he heavily cracked under pressure. Reacted not really in the best way first but got better and redeemed himself. Still felt town to me the whole time.
- BB/Nictis: Started suspicious with a bit aggressive tone towards Dawiusz in their exchanges (which felt a bit different from the one of BB's games I use as Meta), got better later on. Mostly solid reasoning and heavily drove the thread to find scum.

slight town lean:
- Byzantine: tone and gut read from the start, felt rather good from the start, never really felt the pregame lynch tbh
- IH: gut read, but the pregame argument felt a bit weird
- Nanimani: gut read by entrance aka first set of posts, although mostly commenting on stuff and no own content; I haven't really processed his personal later content about the BB lynch

neutral:
Good part:
- meso: started out as rather inactive, got way better ... still I have to reread him to get a read honestly
- 1k: Lots of posts, several of them arguing with -rosen; all common behaviour up to now, not really a clear read yet; tiny bit of suspicion for a seriously obscure part which hasn't really shown any effect yet. Will have to wait for later interactions... Not really a good reason for lynching right now
- -Rosen: Questions as icebreaker, bit of an argument about specific posts (everything standard behaviour for now), reacted well on questioned reads; probably short of slight town lean

Bad part:
- Comi: short of good part, but still lacking content to really judge upon
- Cyri: 1-2 posts of content yet, nothing to base a read on
- QT: not much content
- LDJ: posted ... something .. but nothing really AI yet
- Tykan: I guess you noticed the pattern by now

Sooo, I know at least two people with low content tend to get more active in later days.
I followed the last three games starting with Clown Academy, so while I haven't played them I still use them as Meta.

Having my three slight town leans mostly based on gut reads doesn't look good to me, so I'll probs reread them. And most of my reads on -Rosen and meso date back a bit and partly don't consider their recent actions. So two low count posters to reread and three high count ones... *shudders*

I don't like their play because as usual, it has been disruptive and meaningless chaotic to be anti-town at best and scummy at worst and they are currently my highest scum read at tentative lean scum. I also don't like the reasoning they been using in their lynch votes so until I can get a stronger scum read on someone, I'm sticking to this vote.

Anyways, I need to go and read back more thoroughly now that I'm back from the hospital...will probably be back in touch some time after classes today (so around 8 hours from now).
 
Okay wow. Got through this wildstorm of a day 1 and my thoughts right now:


Okay...we start of with a strange comment of a pre-game slip which really doesn't amount to much at all imo. Then Rosen and 1K go at each other for a bit, mainly on principle of things rather than actual content. Then Dawiuz appears and tries...something. Like it was hard to read the actual direction intended to drive the argument but I can sorta understand it. It wasn't good, but it was at least a solid direction they tried for which wasn't bad in of itself.

Then we get into a confusing land of ??? where it was hard for me to actually see what directions people wanted to go with this. I'm seeing those who were pushing BB and those who were trying to look elsewhere. I should have some votes on me which I think is weird that I don't...I have little to no content so far and that's bad.

1K is sitting on neutral atm simply because I've had a personal in game view of how they play both town and scum...and honestly it's damned hard to differentiate.

IH - Looks good, I like the posts they've put up so far.

I think Rosen had good intent- However, I the approach was not what I like, but hey, not my approach so *Shrug*.

Comi seems to be sitting back and so does QT, going to review both of them more in depth and also...

Meso's VT claim has me ringing lynch bells atm.. VT claim on day 1 and it wasn't really needed as a reveal.

See, I just don't see BB(Now nictis) making such an open linkage. It doesn't fit their meta I think, generally I think BB plays a more subdued but still very acknowledged presence in her games. And example of this is in DBZ mafia where she managed to sink a scum win by playing cleverly and just out of full limelight.

What are you referring to, exactly?

I'll note I'm very unsure right now about my own reads.

  • A Meso vote feels like a mistake, but he is also the most suspicious with the odd timing of his potshots into what seems to have been a pointless town v town fight.
  • Rosen was just being Rosen. Aka he feels scummy as hell, but that's his normal town game too.
  • I couldn't get a firm read on BB, though she was standing out a lot more than she usually does in her scum game until the end. If she was scum she was trying something new, though that isn't out of the question for her.
  • I was townreading Daw, in part because of his flailing seeming very hard to fake, so I'll transfer that to Oshha until further evidence.
  • I keep forgetting IH is in the game, but I'm giving him a slight townread still for his odd attack on me that doesn't feel like a scum move, but a genuine belief I fucked up.
  • I'm effectively null on everyone else.
  • There are so many mostly-inactive I'm not sure where to even begin approaching that (QT, maybe?)

It just doesn't seem like a BB play to do that. I can of course be mistaken about this but still, that's my two cents towards it atm.

I don't know the etiquette for this, so tell me if I'm doing this wrong, but @-Rosen, @Nanimani: Respectively Dawiusz and Broken Base are no longer in the game, having been replaced by Oshha and Nictis (respectively).

(This post is a blatant attempt to get people to post.)

Doesn't work this way but if you want mostly baseless guesses I can do that? I don't yet have an anchor point beside myself and I try to be more contained in smaller set-ups. I have a much higher chance of being shot night 1 than I normally do in these games.

A baseless guess is still insight into your headspace, which I don't really have much of ATM.
 
Right now I want to hear more from QT, Comiturtle, and then Nictis and Oshha once they're ready.

The last two games we've been implicitly aligned with each other and our votes have followed each other closely so seeing this when we're not makes me weirded out.
