Well sorry for your loss. I think the cause of death was too big of scope for the world and mechanics reviled before they need to become prevalent, with lacking/barebones character and plot, and compounded with making up the story syndrome (Hoping that us or the dice will form the base story by giving us so much options to control in detail?). Not trying to be mean or any thing just giving some criticism of where, I think, it went wrong. If you really wanted us to be space pirates or other out law at the start then you should have given a motive to do so or never gave us the option to play within the lines of the law. It was ambitious setting but fell flat in other areas for reasons to get interested and invested into the quest.
I guess that if there is a cannon ending to this quest it will be either "We made back home safely and the universe didn't decide to implode on itself for once." or "chaos happens, an anomaly/ space rocks get us , no one cares to notice , and the main character becomes a ghost and gets transported to the other quest."
Well have a good day. I going to go the ghost riot quest and maybe get into that. May take me awhile to get a character all thought out and written. I'm not experienced in riot quest format .(and my normal computer is in the shop. not been having the best week )
