Welp... Now we may end up with two people clinicaly insane...Which is kinda bad, because if Amy goes bad, she may end turning Bet into a veritable Horror Land filled with madness inducing abominations...

Wonder what Shaper may be thinking after 'seeing' another eldritch abomination beyong understanding.

Huh. Well I'm sure there will be no negative effects onRune from passing through the gate. Amd Amy will be sure okay from her encounter with a Shoggoth.

Well, this is an interesting one. Taylor can feel Rune's biology even at a distance, she likely traumatized GG at minimum, and gave Panacea her first look at the Eldritch. Amy's probably lucky that Rest didn't land anything on her. Overall, this can only got good places! Glad to see the update.

Image passing through my head:

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SIS--"

"I don't know! I didn't do anything, and she won't let go!"

"Where's the rest of it."

"Uh, Ames? Maybe you could back away from the freaky monster-girl?"

"There must be more. Show me the REST OF IT."

You kind of have to expect this result when the Shaper shard gets its first look at an infinitely variable biology. After all, this would be the Grail for Shaper's data research, wouldn't it?

The next day...

Victoria: AMES! You finally woke up!

Amy: I just had the strangest dream. I saw Ronald McDonald perform the wiggly worm while in the middle of a strip pole dance.

Taylor: Thank goodness the censored vision worked.

Meanwhile at the PRT...

Rune: Wrigglies! Wrigglies everywhere!

On the other hand what do you guys think would happen if any of the Endbringers ever meets Taylor?

So, this is actually very interesting for Amy, and I don't think there will being any sanity loss here.

There is vague clues that Shoggoths are probably the first living organism "born" on our planet, and either from whence our current flora and fauna come from, or that the flora/fauna are the leftover experiments that didn't work out and become Shoggoths. This means, that to Amy she is probably looking at the Origin Of All That Lives to her eyes, and it must be pretty much a religious experience.

Or does she have a nosebleed :ogles::ogles::ogles: *wink wink nudge nudge*
No, that's (probably) Madison.
Now, I don't know if it was ever confirmed, but it's been headcanon for me for a while now that a large part of the reason that Amy was so stressed and headed for a mental breakdown was because she never experimented with her powers and restricted herself to doing the same things over and over again, which pissed her shard off. Wildbow did state that shards messing with host minds usually amounted to 'highs are higher and lows are lower', so because she wasn't gathering new data at all, her shard exacerbated the problems she was having. Looking at the almost infinitely variable biology of non-euclidean, protean creatures from another universe would be a massive boost of data and tell her all sorts of new things. I imagine this would make the Shaper shard very happy indeed (or whatever 'good' emotions shards feel), so this would probably result in a massive rush of endorphin for Amy and seriously improve her mental health. Of course, this being Worm and shards being shards, this will probably result in Shaper giving Amy a sudden, addictive need to see the Lovecraftian beasties at work as often as possible.

"You… you ate her!?" Glory Girl looked horrified. They all did, though Laserdream's expression was growing closer to realization.

"What? No!" I said indignantly. "That wouldn't help her in the slightest. I just put her in storage so I wouldn't hurt her while flying with her." I shook my head. "I don't care what the PRT or Protectorate think they know, I'm not a cannibal."

Lady Photon looked rather pointedly at the little tongue lapping at the blood that stained my shirt. Where I able to blush I likely would have as I gently pushed the tentacle away from the blood, then held it still with my power when it tried to sneakily return to licking. "Not now, Aria," I murmured, though evidently I wasn't quiet enough, judging from how the others shuddered.

It's stuck in your head now too...
