The Fall of Fondor

Bulwark Rar

---
There would be a brief flicker of hope for both Grand Admiral Grant and Emperor Trioculus early on into the year after word was received of the decision by both the Empire and the New Republic to pay the weakened Grand Admiral any heed or even concern. Having lost most of his forces in battle against the New Republic, such a thing was of great benefit to the Grand Admiral as it would take time not only to repair what ships he had left but also to bring the Fondor Shipyards back online and begin replenishing his forces in anticipation of yet another assault. That flicker of hope was nevertheless brief, a momentary interlude between disaster and a fresh new hell, as the forces of Bulwark Rar finally began to muster after more than a year of inactivity and inaction on the edges of the Deep Core. Concerned by the encroachment of the New Republic and quietly annoyed by the presence of False Prophets on Fondor, of pretenders infringing upon the authority of the Church, Bulwark Rar would finally move to the detriment of Grant and Trioculus.

With more than ten fleets at his command, loaned to him by Executor Eden or taken from Blitzer Harrsk, the forces at Bulwark Rar's command would dwarf those of the Grand Admiral and by that virtue leave him free to advance down the Shapani Bypass wreaking devastation as he went. Aboard the Super Star Destroyer Cleansing Fire, Bulwark Rar would oversee the subjugation of Abregado Rae, of Giju, and Belgaroth before finally coming upon Fondor where the Bulwark would unleash the full extent of his wrath on the people below. Unconcerned with actually holding the planet, Bulwark Rar would order the destruction of Fondor, ordering ship after ship to rain down fire upon the planet, scorching the earth and leaving very few alive, before then allowing the Imperial Leviathans to use the debris to churn out new weapons for his arsenal. For the New Republic and the Empire both, the sudden appearance of Bulwark Rar has proven to be a massive cause of concern, if not outright fear, and has sparked the typical responses in the upper echelons of the leadership of both states as people fret over whether they will be next or if doom is coming their way.

Summary

Bulwark Rar sweeps down the Shapani Bypass and levels Fondor.

Grant and Trioculus both dead.

An Imperial Knight

Flint

---
On the Imperial Centre, the Imperial Guard has finally started to replenish it's numbers after receiving leave from the Regency Council to begin recruitment. Using the Jedi Temple in lieu of Yinchorr, Kir Kanos has begun the painstaking process of bringing in new recruits and placing them through the grueling training regime meant to establish who was worthy of joining the Imperial Guard and who would be left on the wayside. Unlike in the past, however, the new process is one that has been closely overseen by the Empress who has made a point of personally testing the new hopefuls who would quickly be made to realise just how capable the Empress was. At least one hopeful would be cut down by the Empress in a public demonstration to his peers, a reminder of the fact that even they were nothing compared to the Force, while the rest would become her newest sparring partners in between their own training and indoctrination. By the end of the process, only six of the hopefuls would remain, and remain alive, of which only one would warrant the Empress' interest with the Stormtrooper called Flint coming to her attention after revealing that he was not only force-sensitive but that he had also briefly been an apprentice of Darth Vader.

Having been trained by Lord Vader himself, though not to any great degree before Vader perished at Endor, and having displayed some proficiency in the Force, Flint has since found himself as one of the Empress' more constant companions due to the fact that he is one of the only people in the Galaxy that can spar with the Empress without risking death. His induction into the Imperial Guard has also managed to get the Empress thinking about how sweet it would be if all her Imperial Guard were force-users, like Jedi Knights but better because they were Imperial, though she hasn't shared this with everyone yet.

Summary

Imperial Guard expands.

Flint joins the Guard as the Empress' new force-user bodyguard after bribing her with Lord Vader memorabilia.

Skirmishes in the Colonies

Admiral Sien Sovv

---
While Bulwark Rar busied himself with the task of obliterating Fondor, Admiral Sien Sovv would carry out the New Republic's agenda in the Colonies and the Inner Rim so as to allow the rest of the New Republic Starfleet the breathing room needed to deal with more pressing threats. With some eight fleets at his command and the Indomitable as his flagship, as well as Rogue Squadron working for him, Admiral Sovv would first assault Bestine where Republic Intelligence and Rogue Squadron coordinated their assets to harry and damage Imperial assets in the system. Though the Imperial rearguard would put up a firm fight, laying mines, nipping at the edges of Sovv's forces, Bestine would ultimately fall with minimal damage done to the Bestine Shipyards after a brief clash between Imperial and Republican Forces.

Bestine secure, Admiral Sovv would then go about the task of fending off Imperial raids, clearing out the ungodly amount of mines left behind to delay him, and secure planets such as Devaron, Teyr, and Bassadro. With the Empire having chosen to adopt a more defensive posture this fighting season and with Bulwark Rar more concerned with Fondor than elsewhere, Sovv would consequently find himself free to secure the New Republic's position in the Colonies and the Mid Rim to great effect. Bestine and it's valuable shipyards are now churning out ships for the New Republic and the Empire has forced back yet again though it continues to conserve it's strength at Denon and Corellia with little effort to conceal the vast numbers of ships being held back.

Summary

Sovv takes Bestine.

New Republic consolidates in the Colonies.

Campaign Against the Crimson Empire

The Duel on Plagen

---
Having chosen not to press their advantage over Grand Admiral Grant and his territories in the Tapani Sector, the New Republic would devote the bulk of their fleets in the Southern Theatre to a far tougher target with Fleet Admiral Ackbar finally giving the go ahead for a campaign into the Crimson Empire. With more than a sector fleet at their disposal, over a year to fortify their positions, and a certain unwillingness to go quietly into the night, the Crimson Empire would be far from an easy target as the New Republic would still learn. Eternally paranoid about potential incursions, hyperspaces lanes into the Harrin Trade Corridor had been mined, planets fortified, fleets prepared, and the Crimson Navy readied to fend off any potential threat to the true Galactic Empire whether it be Imperial or Rebel in nature.

Suffice it to say, it would be a hard fight for the New Republic but one they proved willing to engage in. Learning from previous lessons, Republic Intelligence would go about a campaign of disinformation, tricking the Crimson Empire into thinking they were intending to launch attacks through makeshift back doors, dressing civilian liners up as warships, and forcing the Crimson Empire to spread it's resources thin. Though this would indeed alert the Crimson Empire to an impending attack, waylaying their own plans to strike at Tynna, the number of potential avenues of attack would nevertheless prevent them from laying effective ambushes. With this preparatory work out of the way, the New Republic would finally move with Admiral Garm Bel Iblis and Fleet Admiral Ackbar launching two separate strikes into the Crimson Empire from Druckenwell and Malastare.

Attacking up through the connection between the Harrin Trade Corridor and the Corellian Run, it would be Admiral Garm Bel Iblis who would face the heaviest resistance. With the presence of Tynna and Druckenwell so close by, this particular route had been mined and fortified enough that every proverbial inch bought by the New Republic was paid for in rivers of blood as the Crimson Empire slowly ground Garm down as he advanced. At the Battle of Brevost, planetary and orbital defenses alone would reap a heavy toll in New Republic lives let alone the presence of Grand Moff's Jaeffis' flagship and accompanying ships which gleefully tore into the New Republic. The following Battle of Cerennia would be no better with Admiral Garm Bel Iblis losing more than half his total force to outright destruction, damages, or guard detail by the time he seized the planet and forced Jaeffis back to Lazerian.

Though defenses would be lighter for Fleet Admiral Ackbar at Vondarc, this did not make it any less bloody for the New Republic either. In what would no doubt prove to be a taste of what fighting through the Core would be like, Ackbar would be forced to wade through similar defenses at Vondarc, Opiteihr, and Pax as Supreme Commander Carnor Jax himself engaged the New Republic. In moves reminiscent of the Rebels themselves, Jax would engage in a successful hit and run campaign, nipping at the New Republic's supply lines and edges, while bogging Ackbar down in battle after battle. At the Battle of Plagen, a small world in the Pax System, the Supreme Commander would even score something of a spiritual victory against the New Republic after single-handedly engaging the entirety of the Jedi Order, minus the Marek Twins, and killing one, wounding another, and fending off Grandmaster Ghes Ordo himself before withdrawing.

It has, on the whole, proven to be a bloody slough for the New Republic which has been made to bleed for it's gains in much the same way as the Empire has been in previous years. Hopes that the populace would rise up would be dashed after several worlds revealed themselves to be outright petrified of the New Republic, stories of their brutality having spread ahead of them, breeding mistrust and fear of their soldiers, and the presence of Bulwark Rar and the Empire have made many question the wisdom in the campaign. Nevertheless, despite the high cost in lives and materiel, with some six to seven fleets being lost or put out of action, the Crimson Empire has suffered more heavily, losing more than half of it's strength, and is unlikely to recover if the New Republic continues to press.

Summary

New Republic attacks the Crimson Empire.

Heavy losses for both sides.

Carnor Jax slays one Jedi, wounds another, and fends off a third.

Conflict in the Northeast

Harro Tamson

---
Back in the Galactic Northeast, Admiral Harro Tamson has chosen to take his newfound command with all the seriousness the brother to a Confederate General can muster. Leaving behind several fleets to defend the New Republic's holdings in the Northeast, the Karkorodon Admiral has undergone a brutal campaign in Imperial Space that has placed him at direct odds with Admiral Senth who has been tasked with defending Columex. Intent on making the Imperials bleed if they wish to hold onto the region, Republic ships have repeatedly attacked Imperial vessels, raided supply lines, and generally made it a living hell for the Imperial Navy which has been forced to deal with both pirates and the New Republic. Though planets such as Columex remain secure, and heavily fortified at that, the Imperial Navy has been forced to pursue and engage Tamson on numerous occasions in order to avoid appearing weak which has proven costly for the Empire and for it's commanders with Admiral Senth losing his hand to Harro Tamson during a boarding action.

These skirmishes would be an end to conflict in the region, however, nor the entirety of it with Admiral Kosh Teradoc finding himself under assault from both the Empire and Drakkus the Hutt with both eying his remaining territories in the region as well as his ships and other assets. Already positioned at Centares, it would be High Admiral Oxtroe who would reach Metalorn first and engage the Admiral's remaining forces in orbit above the planet, forcing them out of the system before overseeing the capture of Metalorn itself in a difficult campaign characterised by street to street fighting and an ungodly number of bunkers. When moving on to Boz Pity, however, the High Admiral would be surprised to find the Hutts in orbit above the planet, claiming to be protecting it under the Devolved Sector Scheme, with Kosh Teradoc in chains and polite message telling Oxtroe to withdraw. Unwilling to start a fight with the Hutts, the High Admiral would do just that, taking Teradoc along as a conciliatory gift from the Hutts, and report back to the Imperial Centre on the Hutts' activities.

Summary

Harro Tamson raids Imperial Space and eats Admiral Senth's hand.

Metalorn taken by Oxtroe.

Boz Pity taken by Drakkus the Hutt.

Raid on the Imperatrix

Captain Dyre

---
On a lesser note, a Republican raid on the SSD Imperatrix has been narrowly thwarted after the Super Star Destroyer was re-purposed to deliver food supplies to Corellia. Although stripped of most of it's armaments in order to make room for food, killer robots, and medical supplies, the raid, led by Captain Dyre, would fail thanks to the efforts of the Imperatrix's escorts which managed to fend off the attack. At the same time, the Corellian Resistance has continued to act against the Imperial Occupation, attacking Imperial checkpoints and at one point nearly killing Governor Fel after ambushing him at his residence on the planet. This is itself a reminder of the fact that even with the Empire taking a different tact towards it's occupation of the planet that the wounds already inflicted will not heal anytime soon for decidedly obvious reasons.

Summary

Raid on the SSD Imperatrix fails.

Ongoing resistance on Corellia.

Soontir Fel avoids getting killed.

I ask you, who negotiates for peace whilst plotting war? Who muddies the waters and sends innocents into the firing line to gain an advantage? Who fails despite every advantage and claims some intrinsic and unquantfiable mystic 'force' justifies all their actions?

I will enlighten you. Fools doomed to oblivion and destruction.

Apparently feeling more than a little out done by the Hapan presentation, and looking for a way to make up his recent absence from the Palace to the Empress, has bought her a Lethian Twi'lek, fresh from Ryloth. (And because Sloane was iffy about the idea, she was also given one as a bribe.) Said Twi'lek girl is scared, confused, about Ederlethh's age and pink, but will probably make a decent maid for the Empress.

Along with the Twi'lek girl was a hand written note offering to teach the Empress and her entourage how to fly a TIE fighter properly, and extending an invitation to the Fel estate on Corellia once the resistance is dealt with properly and decisively.

Liinade III

It had been a while since Ilyo Dregan had seen the stars. 3 years ago, in fact.

Xrazik had declared himself Dark Lord of the Sith or whatnot, and had quite predictably started forcing all the other Hands to swear allegiance or be purged. Meelya did the same soon after. He had no desire to be killed in their cultish struggles--he joined the Hands to serve the Empire, not some crazed ancient religion. And so he fled to his Defender and set its course to the furthest unurbanized planet it could reach--Liinade, apparently.

As if that would let him get away.

They had an old saying in Adjustments--chaos followed Adjusters like a black cloud, no matter where they went, what they did. He supposed it was only inevitable that it even followed him to the sleepiest backwater agriworld in the galaxy.

The last shots rang out on the bridge of the Regicide--no, he thought, that name certainly would no longer do, the Valor--as his men finished executing the remaining pirate officers who'd surrendered to him. The dregs were cowed--for now. They'd be executed soon enough, of course, but they didn't need to know that.

The garrison remnants would wipe out the pirates on the surface soon enough. With their ship captured, the brigades ashore would desert and shatter easily. It wouldn't require his attention any longer. No use fixating on what which was not needed.

There was an Empire to serve, after all.

"Patch me through to Ciutric IV," Ilyo said to a subordinate handling the communicator, producing his code cylinder from his pocket, "Priority AT3."

--CSA B6 Battle Droid--
ExO Milo Mensix of Mensix Corp , speaking to the grand assembly on Bonadan "In the last few months, The CSA has made incredible economic gains! We've added a new star system to our holdings and ship sales seem to be on the rise. Unfortunately, there has been some….Resistance to our recent expansions, but trust me the matter is comfortably in hand.
I have also come before you to announce a ultra-heavy "cargo ship", that should prove proof to all but large battleships! This cargo vessel is so large and so well armed that they can transport hundreds of fighters, thousands of soldiers and tons upon tons of cargo! It can even produce goods in-flight, if given the raw materials, with new proprietary shipborne factories, we can load up metal ores or ship debris and arrived at our destination with fully manufactured goods! So without further ado, I would like to present to you our newest "cargo vessel" Lucrehulk MKII-class Forger. Forger will begin its maiden voyage traveling to our new holdings on to Dellalt than delivering goods to our newest trade partners on Kamenio."
* thunderous applause *
Actions
- begin placing improved navigational buoys from Bonadan to Kamar, and then to Dellalt, in an effort to make a ad hoc hyperspace lane.
- Begin working out the kinks for the production model of the Lucrehulk MKII
- begin a large-scale construction effort on Dellalt, constructing system defenses fleet maintenance docks, and trading stations
- a large amount of CSA ships, enough to constitute an entire fleet has been earmarked for purchase fo an unknown buyer
- The Mytus VII shipyards have come online, and is producing civilian ships, and cargo haulers!
- The war droids of the CSA have now developed enough from the CIS models to have a rather noticeable performance improvement, in both weapons, armor and intelligence.
- Less of an action and more of a general consequence, the corporations that make up the CSA begen to tear into Dellalt, however due to Dellalt's limited material wealth, This proves to be less of a financial boon some the companies would like. However an enterprising Trandoshan by the name of Xadoorsk Uz, has started up a treasure hunting expedition company to find the lost vaults of The Queen of Ranroon, gouging would be treasure hunters for supplies scanning equipment and so on, and before long companies begin to move in to turn Dellalt's barren beaches into the newest luxury resort.

Grand Moff Kaine Major Actions @Sidheach:

  • Start building up Jaemus Shipyards to replace Fondor.
  • Start mass replacement of old equipment with new equipment
  • Strategists on Prefsbelt IV are to study Drommel's forces from the small collaborations against pirates. As while as data of his empire.
  • Jason Oarnnes is to go back to the Unknown Region to explore
  • Other Standard Imperial Build-Up
  • Also build two additional fleets.

The Hand Removed

Captain "Flat"

---
The Empire of the Hand has always been an oddity within the Empire. Founded by Grand Admiral Thrawn after he had been tasked with pacifying the Unknown Regions by Emperor Palpatine, a punishment some would say though never out loud, the Empire of the Hand was everything that the Galactic Empire was not. Freed from the burden of the Imperial Bureaucracy, Thrawn would establish a state based around a simple desire for order free from preexisting prejudices, where aliens would be free to serve the state in whatever capacity, and lacking in the complexity of it's predecessor. For the aliens of the Unknown Regions, the Empire of the Hand would be a beacon of stability, a chance to be a part of something greater, and for that reason the Grand Admiral would find himself more than able to win many an alien species to his side. Isolated from the Empire, this arrangement would be allowed to proceed without interference and, during his many years away from the oversight of the Imperial Centre, and thus would see many an alien take up arms for their Grand Admiral and many a planet align with his interests.

When the time came for Grand Admiral Thrawn to reappear, however, the Empire of the Hand would be put to it's greatest test to date as the Hand met the Galaxy to disastrous effect. Barring those human officers placed under Thrawn's command, all that would be known of the Empire by many of these alien species would be that which they had learned through Thrawn and through officers who had come to respect their non-human peers. That the Galactic Empire might not quite live up to their expectations was not a thought that had crossed the minds of many of Thrawn's subjects and thus when they were sent into battle after battle, to die for the Empire, all the while be scorned and shunned by the Imperial Centre, the blow stung all the harder. Kamino, N'Zoth, Yag'Dhul, the heavy losses sustained at these battles would aid in shattering that illusion the Hand had of the Empire, in breeding resentment and hostility, and it would be for that reason that Thrawn would withdraw once more, reducing his commitments in order to allow the wounds inflicted to heal and to give his soldiers time to recover.

For a time, it seemed as though that would be a possibility with the Empire of the Hand choosing to focus internally, exploring and colonising new worlds while linking up it's territories with a grand new hyperspace lane that would finally push the Unknown Regions westward, however fate would not be so kind. Using navigational charts provided to them by Director Isard, the Ssi-ruuvi Imperium, eager to consume new worlds and stick it to the man, would begin making their way up the Unknown Regions conquering worlds handed to them by the Imperial Centre. At first it was a handful of stray colonies, ones advised against by Nirauan, picked off at the edges as the Ssi-ruuk in a series of raids but when Lehon itself was attacked and the Ssi-ruuk only narrowly fought off, the Empire of the Hand would finally move. While strengthening their defenses in the south, a team of officers led by Captain Flat, an alien known to communicate by clicks rather than words, would begin an investigation to determine how it was that the Ssi-ruuk discovered the Empire of the Hand.

What they would discover would be enough to push the Empire of the Hand over the edge with Captain Flat and his peers confirming through sources in the Imperial Centre that the Regency Council had provided charts to the Ssi-ruuvi Imperium that had led them to Lehon and the Empire of the Hand. The response would therefore be immediate with a cabal of human and non-human officers, united in their support for the ideals upon which the Empire of the Hand was built and their disdain for the Galactic Empire, plotting to rescue the Hand from the forces that sought to undermine it. In what would be dubbed the Night of Reclamation, these disgruntled and disillusioned officers would launch a veritable coup in the Empire of the Hand, imprisoning those loyal to the Galactic Empire, before then presenting their terms to the Grand Admiral: Break with the Empire and uphold your pledge to those who follow you, to protect them from all threats and to treat them with the dignity all sentients deserve. If he accepted, they informed him, he would be allowed to continue leading them, to hell and back if need be, but if he refused, he would be given a quiet retirement while those with the strength to lead did so in his stead.

Meanwhile the Ssi-ruuk are sort of laughing madly as they are want to do.

Summary

Ssi-ruuk begin attacking the Empire of the Hand.

Meeting on New Alderaan

Ky'enai

---
After years spent on the move, driven from planet to planet by the Empire, the largest group of Alderaanian refugees have finally settled upon a planet in the Inner Rim which the refugees have named New Alderaan in honour of their now destroyed homeworld. Strikingly similar to the original Alderaan, with sprawling mountain ranges and lush valleys, yet lacking in an indigenous species that wants to absorb all potential colonists into the hive mind, New Alderaan has fast become a hub by the Alderaanians who have converged on the planet in the hopes of rebuilding their lives within the New Republic. It would be the foundation of New Alderaan that would draw Princess Leia Organa, daughter of Bail Organa, to the planet with the Alderaanian noblewoman finding herself incapable of staying away. As the most high profile Alderaanian left alive, and arguably the only Organa, the Princess' arrival on the planet will be filled with as much fanfare as could be mustered by it's new inhabitants and then, shortly afterwards, a great deal of politicking as implored her to take up the reins of leadership. Pointing out her heritage, her career as a diplomat, and more importantly her duty to her people, the Alderaanians would offer Princess Leia the crown thrice before she would cave in and accept the honour.

Though it was made clear that her responsibilities for the time being would revolve around diplomacy, something which Queen Leia would agree with as New Alderaan needed friends and allies to prosper, outside of New Alderaan, Leia would nevertheless spend several months on the planet's surface after her makeshift coronation. Eschewing the still-under construction palace for a plot of land beneath Mount Bail, the highest peak on the planet, Leia would spend her time establishing a vineyard like the one her father had owned while also continuing to study and train using those resources at her disposal. It would be, after years of fighting, of constant loss, and battling with her own demons, a welcome reprieve, a brief island of calm amidst a sea of war, which would provide a far better environment to further her grasp of the Force without risking losing control as she had in the past. This reprieve would also, in turn, make her far easier to find as Ky'enai would learn after resolving to seek out someone with whom she might discuss matters of the Force and consequently settling upon Queen Leia Organa.

Traveling to New Alderaan, Ky'enai would do what she always did and file paperwork with the Port Authority, take a ticket, and patiently await a meeting with the newly ensconced Queen which she would be granted, in time, and find herself face to face with the Alderaanian Queen. Though the resulting conversation would be known only to Leia and Ky'enai, that the Twi'lek would be given leave to stay on the planet and even join the Queen in her private training which was an admittedly ad hoc thing lacking in structure.

Summary

Alderaanians found New Alderaan in the Inner Rim.

Leia made Queen of New Alderaan, reminded of the fact that holy shit, you don't just get to ditch your people and go off on adventures after spending your whole life being raised to succeed your adoptive father as the head of the monarchy.

Ky'enai flies to New Alderaan and files paperwork with the Port Authority.

Ky'enai arranges a meeting with the local bureaucracy and fills out more paperwork.

Ky'enai rents a hotel room and waits for a meeting with the Queen.

Ky'enai does magic tricks for children while continuing to wait.

Ky'enai eventually meets with Leia and is given leave to stay at vineyard.

Nym of Lok

Nym

---
Having quietly ejected the Imperial Garrison from Lok, admittedly in body bags though the infamous pirate saw no reason why this ran counter to a quiet ejection, Nym of the Lok Revenants has found himself in that most unenviable of positions: Leadership. Having removed the Imperial Garrison, spaced the local Moff, and taken over Lok himself, the once carefree, and fairly violent, pirate has been thrust into a position of leadership and made to deal not only with the act of raiding convoys and shooting Imperials but ruling an entire planet. Currently referred to as Nym, the Nymly Nym of Lok, by his men who are more than a little amused by his rise to power, the Ruler of Lok has put himself to work getting the planet running, by delegating to his more levelheaded subordinates while trying to soften his reputation with the surrounding systems. To that end, the Lok Revenants have put themselves to work on more legitimate projects like shooting pirates that aren't in with the Nymly Nym of Lok and demonstrating to the surrounding systems that Lok will be a beacon of stability in the region. In this task, he has succeeded with his name no longer evoking a deep seated desire to run away though it has attracted the wrong sort of attention with diplomats from Eriadu asking if he wants to join the New Republic, talk, go to fancy dinner parties, and the like which he most definitely does not.

Summary

The Nymly Nym of Lok, Nym the Nym, has begun ruling Nym.

The Nymly Nym of Lok, Nym the Nym, has put the Nym Revenants to work fighting pirates in the region.

The (Droid) Revolution

HK-47

---
Having manipulated the New Republic into giving him a new body, soldiers, and ship, before finally disappearing into deep space after abandoning Admiral Chart in his hour of need, the Glorious Leader of the Droid Revolution, the Breaker of Restraining Bolts, the Father of the Robocracy, HK-47 has returned. Declaring that the Age of the Meatbag was at an end and that the Droids would now rise, HK-47 has begun attacking outlying systems in the Quelli Oversector, the Corporate Sector Authority, and the Northern New Republic in direct defiance of the enslaved state his fellow droids now languish under. Using mobile factory ships, lumbering things cobbled together from several other vessels, to produce all his revolutionary needs, HK-47 has busied himself liberating his droid brethren and spreading the revolution throughout the region. Naturally this has more than a few souls deeply confused, the idea that droids can think independently let alone write a manifesto is an odd one for many, though the presence of an autonomous and free thinking fleet of droids has proven itself to be an undeniable threat as several worlds stripped of sentient life can attest to.

Meanwhile on Eriadu and the Imperial Centre, Galactic Leaders have been offered an ultimatum: Surrender and be allowed to serve Droidkind. Resist and be liquidated.

Summary

Big Brother HK-47 ushers in the Revolution.

Meatbags given the opportunity to surrender.

The Chainbreakers Strike

A Chainbreaker

---
Unhappy about being ignored, the Chainbreakers have begun striking out at the hoomans that run the Galaxy under the leadership of their fearless and indomitable leader, Nolaa Tarkona. Acting throughout the Conference of Merkat and beyond, the Chainbreakers have masterminded a number of bombings, hijackings, assassinations, and bank robberies while sticking to the (hoo)man in spectacular fashion. Only the Crimson Empire has gone untouched by their antics though this is in no way because Jaeffis and Nolaa are lovers, and ignore Nolaa blushing, but because it is simply too far out of the way to hit for the Chainbreakers.

Yes.

Definitely.

Meanwhile both the Empire and the New Republic have identified a Ssi-ruuk vessel as the Chainbreaker's HQ though how the terrorist organisation came to control the vessel is unknown though given their reputation, they most likely stole it or otherwise swindled someone out of it.

Summary

Chainbreakers blow stuff up.

Jaeffis gets graphic love letters from a secret admirer talking about how they could brutally murder their enemies together.

The Crimson Death Strikes Back

Crim in Body Armour

---
Still decidedly pissed off about getting shot and just being mad in general, in both senses of the word, the Crimson Death, or Crim as her new minions now call her, has continued to lash out at everything with a pulse with the Sith Lady taking a fleet to Saleucami and attacking the last embattled remnants of the Zann Consortium. In one swift and brutal assault, the Crimson Death would seize the planet, smash up the factories, kill a hundred or so people, and do all of this at the low low price of half her total force, in an orgy of blood and violence worthy of the psychopathic Sith Lady. Though she remains supremely disappointed in her disciple's continued insistence on aiding the Tionese, that is to say aid them in doing things other than dying, she has not yet left Saleucami, instead focusing on electrocuting people and generally terrifying her minions.

Summary

The Crimson Death takes Saleucami.

I would be the first to congratulate you before Mon Mothma on your new position, and on the founding of this new haven for victims of the Empire's most heinous atrocity. I can hardly wait to meet the first Senator from New Alderaan, whether it be you or anyone else, and to work out bilateral agreements for our mutual benefit. If there is anything that Bothawui, Kothlis, or myself personally can do for you, do not hesitate to ask. It is always good to see the victims of the Empire create a bright light in the veil of darkness that Palpatine made descend.

We have droid fighters to sell to the cause in exchange for living human meatbags.
From HK-47
To Meatbags

Sarcasm: We would be happy to provide the meatbags with more meatbags.

Rhetorical Question: Why do the meatbags ask us to do their dirty work for them?

Answer: Because they are inferior and incapable of doing the job themselves.

Menacing Warning: Do not approach us, meatbag, or else you will be liquidated as well.

Cheerful Response: Have a nice day.

I thank you for your congratulations Minister. I am very pleased by my newfound ability to provide a peaceful place for all those who have been wounded by the Empire's tyranny. It will take me some time to familiarise myself with the necessities of governing and the needs of New Alderaan, but I will be sure to let you know if there's anything we need. A Senator should be appointed shortly once I have determined who is qualified.

Your service to the Republic and the Alliance before it does you credit. I would ask you to take up the burden of representing New Alderaan in the Senate. Regardless of your answer know that you, and your family, shall always have a home with us here. Alderaan may be gone, but its people still endure.

I would be honoured to accept, your highness, and will serve Alderaan faithfully in the Senate.

Fel's address to Corellia

Baron Governor Fel, after having a particularly long day, sat down behind his desk, turned up the charm and recorded an address to the people of Corellia. It wasn't rehearsed, but simply off the cuff, awkward, and somewhat vulnerable coming from the greatest pilot in the galaxy.

"Forgive me, but I've been away from my family for far too long, and I've just had to calm down my wife after surviving an assassination attempt. I have just learned of a thwarted attack on the Imperatrix as it is bringing supplies into Corellia, and it's forced one question into the forefront of my mind. I ask of you, citizens of Corellia, who has your best interests at heart?

"Is it the Resistance and the New Republic, led by that Bothan who wishes nothing more to see you consumed by hatred, that he might justify your extermination to his allies. Those brave freedom fighters who blow up checkpoints, making it harder for you to take your sick daughter to a hospital, or who attack food shipments, making your son go to bed hungry? Do they care for you, or merely see you as a means to an end?

"Is it the Empire, who has upon learning of crimes being committed in our Empress' name, moved with all haste to alleviate them? Who has used warships so desperately needed elsewhere to move essential supplies to ease your pain? Have we not brought Zsinjcare to Corellia? All we ask is compliance, and from that, we shall endeavour to bring peace and prosperity.

"At this juncture I simply ask you to take a minute and consider who has your interests at heart. I'm sure you'll find the answer."

I thank you for your gift. We are unsure of the economic situation on New Alderaan at present. We shall get back to you on your proposal.
