AN: So My motivation is still kinda dead, but the corpse twitched a bit today, so your getting the first segment of the voteless portion today, I'm trying to force this out, but it taking ages and my free time is not quite as abundant as i'd like, combined with my muse trying to pull me towards other ideas, and this is a challenge.
At any rate there will probably be a few sections like this (3-6? somewhere in that area) and then i'll have you back in your bombed out neighborhood and doing the easier to manage civ builder turns, hopefully before summer ends.

You are Alessandra Gravano, and today has probably been the worst day of your life.
Well maybe not the worst, your pretty sure that nothing can really top the world ending… but today is definitely second place.
Zombie's, car crashes, the guy leading the entire thing turning out to be damn near suicidal, and of course the rogue bio-weapon you were currently trying to find a solution too.
You were freaking out…. A lot, at least it was all internal for the moment.
Yeah, Alex had told you to run if the monster showed up… And technically you had, just probably not where he had intended. Instead of going to get Mannie or anything like that, you had headed straight to the West-Tek Bio-science division.
Perplexingly your intern security password still worked.
Month's after your internship had ended.
If mankind hadn't collectively decided to shoot itself in the foot, you're pretty sure someone would've been getting fired for that.
Well, this particular bit of workplace incompetence had actually been useful, so you weren't complaining.
The Bio-science division looked the same as ever, the mess of terminals, centrifuges, micro-pipettes and various flasks, beakers and petri-dishes still covered the desks and shelves, And the glow in the dark tulips were still up on display alongside the Carnivorous Venus Sunflower's.
None of that helped you at the moment though.
"Alright, if I were data on some top secret bio weapon project… where would I be?"
…
…
"Why I am asking myself that? it's almost certainly on the lower levels!"
Back during your internship here at West-tek, you and your… "Peers" had only been allowed on the top level of the Bio-science division, your supervisor had told you to never venture lower on pain of death by security robot.
But, remembering the logs you and Alex had gone over, there were no more security robots… so there was nothing to stop you from getting at the sweet, sciencey knowledge!
…
…
…
"Okay no, I need to get my Priorities straight, Defeating the horrible abomination against nature and helping Alexander, then I can do SCIENCE!"
You nod to yourself, then, priorities in place, you delve deeper into the Bio-Science division than you've ever been.

"Broken, Broken, Broken… Aha!... no wait its password protected, broken, broken, broken… Finally!"
Turns out most of the terminals had been shattered down in the lower levels of the bioscience division you'd been searching for a while, having already checked out everything in the bacterial research station, you had moved on to what had been called the "Limit 115 Patient Quarantine Zone." Most of everything here had also been broken… Except for this terminal here.
This was the first usable terminal you had found, you could only hope there was something useful on it.

To Dr. A. Marlow
P.V.P finding's from the San Diego facility have presented significant tangential breakthroughs in potential treatment for Limit 115 (colloquially known as "The New Plague, or "Blue Flu") West-Tek upper management has selected your quarantine unit for human testing purposes.
All other research will continue as normal.
Refusal to do will result in immediate termination of employee contract, and the "confidentiality department" will be sent to ensure that the leaking of company secrets will not occur.
Have a Nice Day!

The terminal went on to list what must have been hundreds of names, most of which simply came with the annotation
"Treatment unsuccessful, Limit 115 progress unhindered." which was inevitably followed by a simple
"Massive External Hemorrhaging, Followed by Death."
And the occasional
"Rapid Cellular Mutation followed by Apoptosis, Failure in several vital organs within thirty minutes of treatment."
This trend would continue until May 2075, where treatments actually seemed to start making progress slowing down the spread of the plague, but unfortunately failing to stop it entirely.
Up until December 2076 where you spotted one particular name with a unique annotation.

That's disappointing, but it wasn't likely this was going to hold anything important anyway. You think about continuing on for a little while before deciding to… on a whim enter a few random passwords
You think back to how lackadaisical cyber security had been here so far and promptly type
"I-Don't-care" into the password box.

That… that is disappointing on so many levels.
But hey, West-Tek's Incompetence is your gain in this case, hopefully this is useful, because you doubt you'll be able to find another intact terminal down here.
