I generally enjoyed the film, not the greatest but a 'B' to 'A-' score. Two things I disliked are calling him "Spider-man" with a hyphen and
in the film was the lack of injury Peter sustained that would be visible outside of the costume. Spiderman took multiple beatings in some of the fights and particularly in the last half hour. He walks away without a bruise. I'm particularly talking about when Vulture curbstomps his face and when a concrete roof was dropped on him. I'm not asking for crippling wounds or a blood soaked face but is a forehead/cheek cut too much to ask for; I'll even take a blackeye.
It's called superhuman durability. He is not just strong and agile as a fighter but tough. I mean the guy got up from being slam hard enough to go through a school bus . Unless the Vulture got a massive power upgrade, Vulture's suit would ran out of power before he makes a mark on him.

Proportionately his body would HAVE to be tougher by a lot, vs a ordinary guy. Or he'd break bones doing any kind of lifting.

It's also comics canon that he has a weak 'healing factor.' It's no where near Wolverine level, but if someone beats the crap out of Peter he bounces back in a few days, usually...

To think, the military has spent billions on trying to remake Captain America...only for some kid to get comparable powers via a radioactive spiderbite.

Also, here's a joke about the end teaser:

Well both ASM and the Raimi movies had Spidey suffering visible injuries at the end.

Amusingly, the Ultimate Spider-Man (whom the Homecoming version is strongly based on) got his powers from a spider bite from a spider that was a test subject for Oscorp's version of a super soldier serum.

This has been your random comics geek moment of the day...

Really enjoyed it. SpectacularAmazingMarvellous Spider Man! And great actually-in-school Peter Parker.
The big twist really caught me off guard.
For about two seconds I was thinking "The Vulture's at her house??? Is he taking the kids Spidey saved as hostages? Is she okay? Oh...
Well of course she's his daughter and the motivation for his villainy, that makes total sense and of course this would happen and I feel so dumb for not even considering the possibility and oh boy Peter's in big trouble now, disgunbegud!
Oh and Vulture was a great villain and the whole Damage Control thing and making and selling weapons with alien tech was really cool.
I do kinda wish I hadn't had the trailer shoved into my eyes during GG2 and WW as I prefer not to watch trailers especially for movies I'd watch anyway (i.e. any MCU) but oh well, there were still plenty of surprises and recontextualisations.
Ned and Michelle were fun friends for Peter too. And lol at all of Spidey's notes. And Cap's stuff.
That post credits scene was both funny and kinda mean. I stayed a little longer just to be sure that was really all we were getting.

Also I'd thought after Civil War that we weren't gonna ever see Pepper again so that was pretty nice.
Oh and it was also nice to have a Spiderman film without Osborn being mentioned.

So Tom Holland has spoiled the title of Homecoming's sequel:

Spider-Man: Far From Home

So much for Kanye West's College trilogy MCU Spider-Man having its titles based on highschool years, though I'm still holding out for a Graduation at some point, no matter what Kevin Feige says :V

Things we know:

Sadly they probably can't just introduce her in Far From Home, as it'd impact on who has the rights to her...

I don't think I could get the PS2 Spider-Man 2 Mysterio out of my head considering that that's my first exposure to the character.

My reaction is 'The spin-off that NO ONE demanded!' *lol*

One hopes Solo bombing will make Sony stop and go, 'well, maybe not.'
