The war has changed things for you, you saw that some times a villain will do the right thing and stand by humanity in its hour of need. You contact Professor X and Doom and harry and tell them there should be some kind of law for service based forgiveness. One thats more leniant then the current thunder blot program which requires three signed afadavids from different people.
They look at the ruined but recovering city and agree that they will try to get some thing passed.
Afterwards you find the remnants of the sinister six, they look up and wave.
"Hey Spiderman."
"I have a job offer if your willing to hear it."
Shocker stops and then nods.
"Im not going to leave Rhino or Scorpion out of this, or even stiltman."
"Hey."
"Their my friends, and I don't ditch my friends if I can help it."
"Oscorps Paranormal devision is growing we need more security you up for it shocker?"
He nods, and sighs.
"Im getting too old for this shit any ways, Rhino?"
"Its a job."
He shrugs and they turn to scorpion.
"Three years and at the end of it I want a written reconmendation to the thunderbolts program. I still want to become a hero."
"That would be acceptable Stiltman?"
He shakes his head.
"Ive got a archenemy and a reputation being a super villian is some thing I always wanted to be."
The other three shake their heads and say good bye, the others officially join the paranormal devision and help out with Oscorp security. They are not alllowed to handle money but with the city's issues Norman personally allows their inclusion into the corperation.
With that done you look at the board.
Fourteen members of the board want you to become a member, the vote is going to go your way no matter what at this point, you decide to work on the remaining members.
(The Chrunch four days four people out of six you failed your charisma checks for two of them, rolled a social attack of six for one of them which was countered by a defensive roll of three, rolled a roll of 16 for one social attack and got a defensive roll of a natural 1. Two members of the board are switched to supporting you.
The speech you rolled a charisma check of 1 which doubles effect and a social attack of 13. Only one person fails his social defense bringing the vote to 17 to 20)
There are six members of the board who are against you. Mr.Daewoo, Mr. Greenburg, Mrs.Flint, Mr. Wolf, Mrs. Lee, and one of the early investors who simply calls himself the dude.
You decide to talk to the dude first.
"Can I talk to you?"
"About what man?"
"About me joining the board."
He looks a little off.
"Oh yeah the dudes a little on the fence about that, but you have some good vibes so I guess I will like vote you on and stuff."
Mrs. Flint refused to talk to you and said that she refuses to see you as an equal. Wolf just said he was busy and that he did not have the time but Mrs. Lee did agree to talk to you.
You sit in a coffee house and she smiles at you.
"So I would like you to vote to put me on the board."
She sipped her tea and put it down.
"I get science, I get technology magic, I dont understand it and I don't want to build oscorp's future on sand, if you can explain magic to me then, I may change my mind."
You nod at her and give her a run down on magical principles and how it works she writes it down and thinks it over.
"This is a lot to take in but if your willing to train other magic users this should be fesible."
"Its a part of the Plan."
She puts her notes in her purse.
"Well Mr. Parker Im convinced."
The day of the vote is here and you step out and look at the board members.
"People think that magic and the paranormal are msyterious things that human beings are not meant to know or understand. This is a lie, magic is just one more mystery for the human mind to unravel and just one more tool in humanities arsenal against invaders, and to improve the human condition. Oscorp is ahead of the curve on this front and together we will conquer this feild of study and become even greater then we are today."
The board nods and you sit down.
Norman looks at the board.
"Every one here who wants Peter Parker to join the board raise your hands. Your heart beats as hands raise one by one. Fourteen of the hands are predictable, the dude and Mrs. Lee Keep their word. Mr. Wolf the man who was too busy to talk to you raises his hands as well surprising you.
Mr. Daewoo looks like he's reserving judement and does not raise his hand, Green burg also doesnt raise his hand but displays no outward emotion. Mrs. Flint looks utterly enraged and walks out of the room.
Norman puts a hand on your shoulder.
"She will come around eventally."
The meeting ends and Norman Osborn gives you your excutive office.
"3 million dollars a year to start, plus stock options, insurance, use of the company jet and other benifits. Welcome to the Oscorp Director Parker I expect great things of you."
You smile at your corperate office, it has a pristine art deco look to it. Your Desk is made out of solid oak you relax in your leather chair.
You call up Karen and Betty and they arrive at the office.
"I got it."
Karen and Betty hug you.
Your rich, powerful, have a beataful woman on each arm, and a kid at home life is good.
You decide to Let Aunt May baby sit Ben tonight because you have some serious celibrating to do.
I don't think so. It's up to Cherico, but he still has unfinished stuff, and I can't imagine a two week long quest that requires attention 4 times a day. Again.
She sits in your lap and giggles you give her a kiss.
"So wheres Karen?"
You turn on a moniter.
"Looks like she will be here soon."
"Im jealous 38 years old, 4 kids and she doesn't look a day over 20."
"I still think your beautiful Betty and you look just fine after 3."
You hear a knock and open up the window.
"Am I on time?"
"The results from the midwest and the west coast still havent come in."
"You think Harry will win?"
You shrug, and turn on the TV.
"So Karen where's?"
She sighs.
"Ben's in space handling justice league issues, Laura is with the avengers dealing with another bank robbery. May is probally over at the Constantines place making out with her boyfriend."
You cringe and that part but let it fade, Jack was a good kid and thankfully took more after his mother then his dad.
"And Norman is at school finishing up his science project."
Karen takes a seat next to you, Betty sighs.
"Alice is at college waiting for the results, Jason and Sarah are with her, hopefully Alice can keep the twins from getting into too much trouble."
You feel bored and change the Channel, You see laura behind the Scorpion.
"Look I know your scared and I know your desperate belive me Ive been there, but you don't have to continue on this path son. Ive been were you are, redemption? Getting out of this life its scary but its worth it. You are better then this, please put down the gun and come in with me ok?"
The armed man does so and lets the scared woman go, he walks away into the arms of the NYPD with out a fight.
You nod and give him a thumbs up, you hear a knock and osborn walks in.
"So hows the new CEO doing?"
You smile.
"He's currenly watching the election."
You flip the channel back Osborn sits in a leather seat in the corner.
"You know, when I had my kids I thought I would like them to take over Oscorp one day."
You turn to him.
"You sorry it didnt work out?"
"Harry's going to be the president of the united states, and Nalia wants to be a Fairy Princess like her mom."
"Hows Puff doing?"
He shrugs.
"Fairy stuff, Its complicated."
You look at the election results as another state changes its shade.
You hold your breath.
"And Harry Osborn is now officially president of the united states of america."
The natioanal Anthem plays as Harry gives his speech.
"This makes Jubilee the first mutant first lady."
Norman shrugs.
"It was bound to happen sooner or later, hopefully the grandkids will come to visit me soon. So hows Ben doing?"
You sigh.
"The league has him fighting Brainiac, you know how it is free every system you can and then build some prefabs so another colony can be built."
Osborn shrugs.
"Rents cheaper, now and we make plently of money off the colonies."
"Yeah, but I still remember when New York had millions of people. Now every ones moving off earth, its getting lonely out here."
The crowd chants Osborns name and your old boss pours some wine.
"To harry?"
Every one takes a glass.
"To Harry!"
With that finished you toast and have a drink, you wander the halls of Oscorp. Every one gives you respectful nods, a field trip is here and you hear some commotion.
"Give that back! I need that to think?"
"Oh the little retard wants his inhaler back wah wah little retard."
You grab his arm the bully looks up in horror.
"Hello my name is Peter Parker CEO of the company you are currently visiting. You are going to give back his inhaler and then you are going to leave."
The boy nods and gets out of the building, you hand the other boy back his inhaler.
"Thank you for doing that, and thank you for creating Goblin Gas with out that, I well I don't like thinking about that sir."
You smile warmly at him.
"Your name?"
"Eric sir, Im a big fan of science and magic and how oscorp."
A woman taps him on the shoulder.
"Erics my best student but he can get a bit Chatty Mr. Parker."
"Its ok I have some time why don't I give you all a tour?"
You smile and wave to your employees life is good and you are happy with your place in the universe.
Favorite Romance: eeeh Karen, but only because there was no other option explored. It was predictable really. Giving Peter a girlfriend from the start ensured that he would be with that girlfriend until the end. If they started as only friends then maybe people would've voted for something else. Maybe. As it was Karen was practically shove in Pete's lap, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. I liked Spider/PG. Just dissapointed it didn't take the time to go from ground up to the top.
Favorite NPC(Heroic): Surprisingly Norman.
Favorite NPC(Villain): Fisk. He was actually a threat. He did stuff. All the others were essentialy not there. We got to them when we felt like it, we never got any significant trouble we couldn't handle when dealing with them. A cakewalk really.
Least favorite thing about this quest: Too much essential things to do, not enough time to do it in. Most things took the form of a weekly goal, which really sucked because things like moving become impossible to do in the downtime as there's nobody to delegate to, and the main char had to do everything himself.
Let me guess. Peter creates Alchemax at the end? XD
What I would give a lot to see are the notes to this quest. What amount was prepared ahead of time, and what was decided on the fly. The comments strongly implies most of the setting being decided in some way, like for example all the combinations of nails at the beginning.
I'm thinking it's like this: Write a turn, present vote options, then think what those options could result in ahead of time. And should a write-in happen then decide what rolls need to be passed and what are the availble consequences of an action before the roll itself happens.
I have an inkling of the method Cherico uses, and if my psychic powers are right, then it is absolutely awesome, and many many quests should be ran that way. Who knows I might run one myself.
It would probably be ran like this one. It would be about Loki being a gun for hire working for the Christian/Jewish angels. Executing other gods and dealing with supernatural jobs.

this chapter is missing from the threadmarks, I know its short but it makes people trying to quickly catch up with the quest risk missing the chapter, and not understand what's happening.

The fairies come back with the metals through out the week you have them summon more stuff for the R and D department. R and D for their part is over joyed and moral has never been higher. In other news Oscorp industries got quite a few low level bids from the department of defense. Its nothing major but its enough to officially save the company from going bankrupt.
Oscorp isnt thriving but it is going to survive, with the spector of going bankrupt gone Norman Osborn has become noticibly more relaxed and has lightened up when it comes to his son Harry. He even let Harry get rid of the cornrows.
The news isnt all positive their has been a wave of super crime targeting oscorp and other business. You cant prove its Wilson Fisk...

"Well Im doing fine, better then fine I was blind at home you know. Didn't know how bad things were, Im going to change things go into politics and change things. Im volenterring with the election this year, get my hands dirty and really change this dump."
He pulls out a campain button and gives it to you.

"Yeah, Im working with the school council too, you know that their trying to cut out the free lunches for under privaliged children?"

"Oh right corperate thing look Im not judging you or anyone for making a living but a lot of people need help.."
You smile at him.

You kind of blank as the two of them talk about politics.
Later on you go visit Matt Murdock his office is pitch black.
"Peter Parker, I heard Fisk industries was denighed all of the government contracts they were bidding for."

"I also heard Oscorp got a few contracts."
"Were doing better but Lex and Stark got most of them."
You see the glint of some sun glasses.
"I also heard of a new product that oscorp's selling, the NYPD have already put in several orders, it may just be the product that takes the company to the next level."
You feel around for a chair.

"Fisk's place has more security, he's being more careful a few of his more questionble men died in questionable ways.
He doesnt know if your involved but he does know that you foiled a few of his attacks. I know Fisk he's going to go after your family what you love. Its what that animal does."
"Personal experence?"
"Very much so, he took every thing from me, and I will have my revenge."

You go down to the carmera room where Rob works and find stacks of body builder magazines, posters of big muscular men on the walls and a signed phograph of a body builder on his desk.
"So nice set up you have here."

"Good because Im not, I just like body building I don't stay up at night wondering what it would be like to be held by a big mussel man or."
As he drones on you think that perhaps denile is not just a river.
"So where where you at these days."
He looks at the list.
"Took them off they were all competition days."
He gets a goofy smile and then shakes himself out of it.
"I requested each of those days off its in the logs."
"Who was working those days?"
He shruggs.
"Kingsly guys quiet doesn't say much."

With that you go down to the science labs and request that Arvard meet you, he looks nervous and scared and is shaking in fear. Sweat drips down his brow.
"Do you know why your here?"
He shakes his head, you decide to act on your hypothasis and have John do a scanning spell.
"He's clean."
He could have sold it off you stare him in the eye.
"What are you hiding Doctor."
He's shaking in fear.
"Look I really need this job please don't me fired."
"Zantanna hit him with a truth spell."
She nods.
"What are you hiding?"
"Im a mutant! My old company fired me because Im a mutant, I finally got a job with Oscorp please don't fire me I have a family to support! I haven't stolen anything."
He looks freaked out.
"You can go."
"Please dont tell."
"Norman osborns son is dating a mutant, I doubt he has a problem with the whole mutant thing."
The doctor walks out of the office shaking in fear, you call in Doctor Octavius.
He looks irratated.
"Peter Im in the middle of a project."
You scan him and find traces of goblin gas, but thats it just traces.
"Some Goblin gas is missing Doctor."
He frowns.
"I should have known that compound would come to bite us in the back."
"You have traces of it in your system."
He looks freaked out, you smile and.
"Oi Pete I did a search on him he wasnt there the day of the robberies."
You frown.
"Paranoia, increased feelings of aggression, hopelessly insane my mind gone, didnt take good enough care during safety procedures. Have I become less careful as a whole?"
You decide to put him in a circle and tell him you will fix the problems. Your magic tells you that the chemicals are slowly eating away at the part of his brain thats responible for empathy, moral behavior and other issues. This really could have gotten really bad. You work with the others to purge Doctor Octavius of the chemicals and restore his brain to good working order.
when its finished he blinks.
"So how do you feel?"
"Clearer, I didn't know I had a problem the changes happened slowly. Thank you peter how can I thank you?"
You shrug.
"The wifes pregnant make sure nothing goes wrong."
"Oh of course."
You sigh and look up every thing you can on the hob goblin, you need some thing he possessed to track him. Humans just don't have much of a signal. What you do know is that he's a super criminal who has hit every company he could and uses a variety of stolen tech.
You do a check up and ask who Kingsly is.
And find out he does not exist....
