You continue healing, you stopped being able to tell the differnce between the people you take care of along time ago, now you just go from crisis to crisis healing who ever you can. You get even less down time then you did before, it looks like Brainac is going for a final push before reinforcements come.

You are eventally able to take a break and sit down at a camp fire shocker waves to you.
"Hey spidy come on take a seat."
You feel nervious.
"Look its ok its a truce and not a god damned one of us is stupid enough to break it."
You sit down at the campfire, Rhino speaks.
"So why did you go after us?"
Stiltman elbows him.
"Not cool man not cool."
Rhino looks indignant.
"Its a honest question."
You decide to be honest.
"King pin went after Osborn industries, you guys used to work for king pin, we went after you to protect the business."
The four of them nod, shocker takes the lead.
"Yeah, yeah you were fighting to protect your turf. I respect that, too many heroes give you this big speech about honor and goodness and I never got any of that crap, but protecting your turf. I respect that when this is over were going to leave Oscorp alone."
The rest of them nod, you sigh.
"You leave us alone we leave you alone."
Shocker smiles and shakes your hand.
"Deal, were leaving you alone from now on."
The five of you eat around the campfire.
"So spiderman what made you go corperate."
You sip your coffee.
"Wife got pregnant and I needed to pay the bills."
The four of them nod, then Rhino speaks.
"The russian mob wanted me for experement, I could not say no after that no one would hire me."
Stiltman speaks next.
"Grew up in a poor neaborhood, never had enough money for college so I went to the junkyard to build some armor and make money. Its going better now, Booster gold says Im his arch enemy, thats like the gold standard for villains."
He seems gleeful after saying that.
"I really hope gold doesnt die, I mean I have an archenemy now."
Shocker puts a hand on his shoulder.
"He's going to live Stilts."
"But what if he doesnt?"
Shocker pats him on the head.
"Hero's like booster are too damned tough to die you will fight him again."
Scorpion looks up.
"I wanted to be a hero, you know at first, volenteered for this experement and afterwards I tired to join the justice league. It didnt work out, guy in the front desk wanted heroes with experence. Same thing with the avengers, no one would hire a guy with a tail and I kind of ended up here."
Shocker hugs him.
"Its ok man, look if you ever want to join the thunderbolts or some thing you can no judgements ok?"
"but."
"Hey Im your friend but you have to follow your dreams scorp even if it isnt with us."
He sighs.
"Me Im a loser, I was smart really smart but I was poor and wanted to prove myself. Built these babies in prision and escaped. I, I don't know how to live the strait life, dad was a crook, grandpa was a crook. If I ever have kids, well I want them to break the cycle be better then me."
"So what about the other two."
The four of them look struck.
"Vulture decidicated his entire life to this company they refused to pay his retirement and then stole his 401k. Guy was screwed and decided to spend his golden years as a supervilian. Funny guy had a lot of jokes, got killed protecting this kid who wasnt lucky enough to get to a shelter. Msyterio was a special effects guy, really good got cancer and wanted to commit sucide by cape."
Shocker sipped some coffee.
"Went out like a bad ass caused a big chunk of the drones to turn on each other, son of a bitch created a lull all by himself and then he died."
"Drones?"
"Nope cancer, after fighting super heros, villans, the god damned punisher, and alean's it was god damned cancer that killed him."
Shocker shook his head and every one lifted a drink to the fallen, some air raid syrens blared.
"No rest for the wicked people."
They went off and you went back to work.
Eventally you woke up to some eggs.
"Hey, you need food yes?"
German accent blue.
"Hey night crawler."
You eat the eggs.
"What brings you here?"
"I find injured yes and bring them here, I pray for them when I can, we are all gods children. Maybe not the robots but every one else is a child of god."
You laugh.
"So the church?"
"I am now an official priest vestments and every thing. Its good to serve the mother church, you should come more often."
You shake your head.
"Can you stick around?"
Night crawler shakes his head.

You get out of bed.
