You just have to fudge one of his techniques and he's dead. As such it isn't true immortality as he isn't unkillable.
What makes you think that one of his techniques can be fudged? Except for body hopping, he doesn't ever seem to do anything to actively do anything to stop the dying. Like Hidan, he doesn't have to do anything to not die, he just is. Seems like he mainly needs to take bodies so he can be human-ish, rather than a monstrous snake thing.
Maybe he can be actually killed, but we don't know that, and he sure doesn't act like it.

Soon after this you are on your way home from Konoha with your Entourage the Hokage with you with his own just in case there is another attack unlikely as is it. You talk about minor things over the days learning more about Konoha how a edited view of how things work. He keeps you in sight most of the time as soon you can see the Capital on the distance.

Iwa is getting fucked hard.
I kind of wouldn't be surprised if this railroad of a war pressures other nations into working together to take us down a notch or at least force us to stop our potential conquest. Also Iwa has much more to hate and fear about Konoha now than they did in Canon with just the Yellow Flash in the future.
I'm really interested in how this might all play out. Will Iwa capitulate to some ridiculous demands from Kumo in order to get their help? Or will Kumo act as enterprising bastards and attack Iwa in order to take advantage of how weakened they are and try to get more bloodlines/techniques and maybe even Bijuu, whenever they reform?
Also, no more Kaguya Clan... that sparks some interesting butterflies. Possibly no future Bloodline Purges, although I can see the treatment of Jinchuriki in Kiri spiralling way downwards after all of his. Fear is a powerful thing.

Holy shit i do believe that Iwa may just end up suffering the fate that in canon belonged to Uzu. Because once Mist is done getting there shit together and attacks as well Iwa is going to be done, if ever there was a chance to destroy an enemy hidden village now is it and i highly doubt Danzo or Mist would let the opportunity pass. This also sends a very strong message from Konoha "fuck with our important people and we will fucking end you."

Soooo.... With both Iwa and Kiri getting fucked due to different means.... Does this mean that Uzushiogakure won't be destroyed? I mean The combined army of Kumo, Iwa and Kiri just lost 3 Jinchuriki to strike against the Seal Masters. And with Uzushio's support on this war I think that Danzo and some others would want to protect Uzushio a little bit better.

Also I forgot to put the Kurama test case in. (grumble) Roll 100 Second roll 93 Effect Kurama Children rolls DC is a solid 20 now instead of 70 with gradients above that. And will get better with time and experience adding refinements. Clan no longer has to intermarry because of Blood line problem. Expect a massive increase in numbers in the coming years. +15000 Rep with Kurama Clan (yes that is the right number) +2500 with Konoha High Command.
