[X] The wave's have appeared, use them, all of them. His beam snuffed out a hundred, let's see how he fares against a billion.

We don't lie down and wait and hope for someone's to save us, least of all, David.

"Stand up and walk. Keep moving forward. You've got two good legs. So get up and use them. You're strong enough to make your own path."

honestly this overblown might makes right/survival of the strangest jackass shouldn't get to spout off to the cameras and screw over Parahuman laws anymore than he already has

Just Make him into a cloud of red mist

Ah well. Hardly the first time I've lost a quest vote.

I wish there was some option that would let us bring Hero into the fray. Even a noncombat role would be fantastic. I'm a little worried about us pulling a new power out of nowhere to handle these unexpectedly compromising injuries. My gut tells me that Hero would be able to handle this debate better than anyone else in the not-yet-triumvirate. It would be great if we were able to conquer this villain's ideals and powers while broadcasting to the world, but those injuries seem like a sizable obstacle. Anyway I'm undecided on my vote right now. Still glad to enjoy the new chapter though!

There are two ways that using billions of waves ends. The first is he dies before he can raise a shield or nullify them or whatever. The second is the the Stilling shard automatically kicks in and it fails.
I feel the second is far more likely than the first.

[X] Keep him talking, play the scene and by some miracle, David will come back. Pray to god he comes back with something that stops this madman.

Guys, we don't know if the Waves will affect him, furthermore, this guy wants to play a role, let him play it. It's the safer option.

Not only that, but this is the defining moment of beating back the grimderp of the WORMverse, you want us to get closer to that path? He'll be executed anyway, after what he's done. Don't make him a martyr

Atlas: "It's pretty obvious who is the real the villian here, after all, only of us is monologuing."

He deserves do die

This isn't a kill him / don't kill him vote.
He's already proven that he can still our waves and he's taken off our foot. Character death is a possible outcome to this fight.

So please give some justification for choosing waves other than 'Lets kill him.'

There isn't an option on that because Charles is coming to London no matter what. In the chapter, Oracle has been directing and communing with every member of the Founders. He set up an ambush with Rebecca, got Matthew to take out most of the drones that were going to kill the civilians, and he even got David to stop someone from sending an airstrike on the center of London.

Hero has been working his ass off making things while everyone has been fighting, using the ideas that Oracle's been given him.

The biggest problem with this is that Charles' tech is all based on frequency manipulation, and Symphony is a living battery of the exact same power. The two hit, and one shorts out while the other keeps firing lasers.

To say nothing of what Charles is doing with Contessa and Doctor Mother back at Cauldron, or everyone else who doesn't want Symphony to win. A lot of people are trying to do something with the chaos. Some are using it as a springboard, others are trying to stop it from getting any further.

On conquering ideals thing, Alex has holes in his left hand and both of his feet. He can still get up and fly, it's just going to hurt but adrenaline can do a lot to someone, especially someone whose body has been changed by his power. So fighting or laying the verbal smackdown on Symphony isn't out of the question.

As for broadcasting, there isn't a military satellite that isn't pointed at London right now.

And if you don't think either of the options will do exactly what you want, write in's are always accepted.

[to the tune of "Gay or European"]

Is he mastered? ... Or just insane?

(Mastered or insane! Mastered or insane!)

He's neither, he's just playing a part.

[X]Keep the crazy Fucko talking. But build up the waves and ready them so that you can annihilate him should he start to get active again. Best scenario at the moment is too keep him distracted until David arrives but worst comes worst we try killing him.
-[X] You wanna know why I wouldn't join you? How you wanted to create this revolution and show the world you mean business. All you've shown the world is you're a childish psycho. You haven't shown the people of the world of how goddamn pathetic us supers are (I don't think parahuman is a term yet). Why the hell would anyone in their right mind join a revolution that consists of a band of idiots. What would you even have left to rule after this "statement"? Just a pile of ashes, you really think the world governments wouldn't nuke the shit out of you fuckheads. Even if you ruled anything the people would hate you so much they would rather die than deal with your bullshit. You want to be worshipped as a god yet all you've shown yourself to be is a sad little boy who wants the world to care about his pain. Pathetic.
--[X] Talk with him after he screams and cries from the response we gave him. Call him childish whenever he seems likely to attack to hopefully keep him talking. If he won't listen then kill him in an instant. None of that bullshit where we say now you die or anything that might tip him off.

(I really don't want to kill him, I get the whole cauldron thing of keeping terrible people alive because they are useful failed miserably, but he has the fucking STILLING, if Charles gets the chance to properly study it, then his tech goes straight through the fucking roof and killing scion becomes that much easier.)

I forgot to say this, but this is 100% correct. Symphony and Charles have the same shard (Just from different entities) and watching Symphony has already formed a lot of ideas in Charles' head.

And it was just from rewatching his declaration.
