Partially because there's still some activity, but mostly because I'm getting a migraine. Probably a result of my messed up sleep cycle and having to do a lot of cleaning today, but eh.

Well, this is interesting. Simon is getting some more support, but it would take about ten more votes for him to take the lead...

You could say the chances of him winning are near zero, considering how many votes are already set and how invested some of the voters are. Indeed, some might say it's impossible for him to win.

Good thing Simon is used to doing the impossible, huh?

I guess I'll have to check this thread first thing tomorrow to see if I change my vote or not.

This was nice, I go to see Ant-man and drink with some friends, come back and o3o and other people are bitter as fuck because they aren't sure if I'm joking or not.

Well, either way, RoA's going to experience a slowdown while I put together a LordGenome Quest. I had a satisfying idea for a crossover earlier today. Whether or not it gets dropped is pretty up in the air at this point, and has pretty much nothing to do with this Quest.

Were you seriously believing that the speeches had any of jack and shit with how the votes actually went? Mort was making a joke in poor taste because he wanted an excuse for jumping ships, and I responded in similar fashion. Everyone else votes based on their motivations.

You...didn't convince anyone. Just like I didn't. I just did what I did to have fun. If you can't even enjoy what you're doing, then what are you even doing here in the first place?

The problem is people took you seriously and voted for your option because of it. Never joke about holding a story/quest hostage unless a vote goes your way. It's just bad fucking form even if you are not serious.

I will be using threadmarks, yeah. Votes will lock in a bit, was feeling kind of sick. Voting hasn't actually finished yet, but the winner is pretty clear cut.

I'm sorry.

I saw a few people changing votes, and well... I over reacted then, I suppose. I recall something similar happening in the wthread a while back - between Mortifier and bunny, iirc? I apologize for that.

And well...I'd like to think that when we do this whole back and forth arguing thing, some of it does influence people. (At the very least, people certainly seem to enjoy it.)
