Looks like despite everything we are still losing. Our only chance is to poach the simon voters or to beg lurkers to help our cause. Hmm

Good. I am actually glad that you're going to lose. The entire point of quests is that people decide together on what should happen. We argue, we produce evidence and speculation, we convince each other of our opinions.

Bullying and bribing people to change their opinions is just wrong, it spits on the very idea of it. Like, what's the point of us discussing and arguing if at the end it just comes down to whoever has the most people by their balls? I was actually enjoying this, you know. I like speechcraft, but there's no damn point if any arguments we make and any discussion we have is just over ruled by "well fuck you I'm gonna drop quests if I don't get what I want". It's a childish tantrum, like a six year old who breaks his plates because his parents are going to give him vegetables.

You make a good and compelling point but victory trumps ethics and morals. @Mortifer I know that you are business man so how many wpts or any form of currency would it take for you to jump ship?

Let me make this clear - right now, more then anything, I want the lordgenome vote to lose. The whole "hot blood" thing I go into is because I like what it represents - idealism, morals, goodness. I liked what it represented, and how it triumphed. Joining that vote for the sake of hot blood would be spitting on what it represented in the first place, what appealed to me to begin with. Bribery? Blackmail? There's no honor or goodness in that.

It's not as though everyone voting for Genome is adopting the same tactics. You can express displeasure and anger all you like, but the majority of Genome voters are simply interested in playing as him. Direct your anger at those who actually deserve it rather than casting Genome voters under one broad category.
