Shadows of the Past

That's why I asked - going voluntarily into flesh moth hunting grounds without an option to reliably evade, fight or cure them doesn't sound wise.
There's no guarantee that it'll still be there. We can stay safe with liberal use of Jungle's Scent and keeping clear of any and all confrontations.

Mosquito's Bane
Base DC: 150
A light oil that repels insects from any who rub it on their body. The odor is quite strong and makes it easier for animals to track you by scent, but it can keep away even the nastiest insects without fail.
Lasts for 1 hour per quality level.

This probably works with Flesh Moths too. There is a reason why this even exists to begin with.

Hmm, I had an idea that could give us resistance/immunity to flesh moths. It'd just be so expensive that we'd need to be rolling in money to pull it off.

Metal supplement pills.

We've seen that spirits are adversely effected by metal, so what if we were able to increase the iron content in our body. It'd possibly prevent flesh moths from digging into us.

We should verify that before trusting our life to it.
@Azel - Xochi's opinion?
Xochi points out that preventing them from tracking you isn't the same as preventing them from attacking you. If you had something to repel them, it would be much safer.

Clever, though the iron content would kill you before becoming noticeable.

That being said, the metal thing is less metaphysical repulsion and more that... I think that would be too spoilery, but let it be said that painting yourself with metal based paint would be a pointless waste of money.

Needless to say we'll be taking a LOT of alchemy lessons with Matlal when the time comes.

I'm really surprised nobody looked at the recipes you already know:

And how do we know from the description when sth. works versus spirits and when not?
Generally speaking, spirits are not automatically immune against things. There are cases where they are immune against specific things, like a serpent spirit shrugging off any poison, but those are exceptions, not the rule.

... I really want to kill one of those. Imagine what we could do with a spiritsnake's hide.

Would prefer to get either the fangs to help deliver poison or the poison glands since that will provide a very useful poison that possibly could be used for medicine.

We could instead do a ritual to imbue our dagger with the venom, this would be nice if not an acidic one, we would only need to take care to not touch directly with our skin.
