[X] You don't need a caretaker. If you've forgotten anything important, you can learn it the first time you're shown. A few days with "Dad" should be enough for that.

I don't want to admit to being a biotinker with a camera in the room.

-[X] Insist you be allowed to help choose, you wouldn't want a caretaker who isn't a real person.

This should be fun.

yttam50 is right that we shouldn't be admitting to being a biotinker on camera this early.
Also, please don't define 'real person' at this time. Again, making such a comment on camera would be bad.

Shenanigans are fun but I don't want to tip our hand just yet.

Non-Canon Bloopers I
"Behold, the greatest self-replicating being known to humanity!"

*pulls curtain aside*

"...Taylor, that's just Vista."

"I know! You don't complain about people being self-replicating, but if I add any sort of independent reproductive system to my Friends, everyone loses their minds! It's not fair! I might as well just use humans if you're going to be this difficult."

"Taylor—"

"You're not my real father!"

[X] You could MAKE a caretaker. He doesn't need to hire someone for that.

Unfortunately, I think that QA is being overconfident here. Clockblocker seems to be slowly getting a more accurate picture of our psychology.

[X] Wake up.
[x] Flatly say you don't intend to join the Wards at this time.
-[X] Delay your response until after they've given their own pitch. You don't want to let them claim recruitment was not their intent.
Aww, they went with this option. Hope there will be an opportunity to be asked again in the future, I really wanted to be Nilbog Jr and give Emily an aneurysm.

And before you say "we could do it anyway": if we're under her command, she's mostly forced to deal with us, if we're indipendent, we risk a kill order or forced conscription.
don your blood-cultist hat in the name of improved familial relations.
I am going to insert this sentence in every dialogue I can from now on.

We don't need someone to watch over us. We'll want to start biotinkering once we're sufficiently unsupervised after all. Do we really want to extend the period during which we're under close supervision?

-[x] Especially since they probably wouldn't have powers anyway. Are you really supposed to listen to someone who wasn't good enough for them? Someone who doesn't contribute? There are reasons they aren't real people.

EDIT: Seriously, why are so many people voting to either reveal ourselves as a biotinker, in front of a camera no less, or let a stranger supervise us while we're at home? We know we're not going to suddenly fall into a coma again or anything like that. And we're brain damaged, not stupid, I'm sure Danny can teach us how to do basic household tasks without us killing ourselves.

Less admissions of biotinker on camera, I reckon. And maybe give us a chance to do things without supervision, we prolly won't get ourselves killed by the toaster...

-[X]But don't mention such until it is already done.

-[x] Make the winslow pay for it?

Our physical co-ordination is going to be suspect for a while.
