[X] Ronin Band Led by Kushizu Shigehisa
[X] Location: Weisaki Prefecture, Cove Outpost
Too long had Kushizu Shigehisa wallowed in his own disgrace and self-loathing. No more! He was needed yet in the world, and he could not rightly rest when so many others were working to repair the spirit of the realm that had been so violated. Thus resolved, he gathered to his person a core of likeminded Ronin. With them came a wave of more bitter Ronin, those who had care for little but the jingling of purses and sought employ under a man they believed could lead them to fortune. That the latter outnumbered the former in this time of hope was sad, but understandable. A man cast off, stripped of his honour and dignity, thrown into the pits of dishonour, often could not see the sun rise until it was directly over their heads. Either way, there was no shortage of samurai who had been scattered to the winds by the centuries of war. It was simply a matter of collecting them.
It was fortunate that he had been washed to the Weisaki Prefecture, for its port was plagued by Tanuki. The first notable excursion for his band would not be a full battle; as much as he ached to abandon caution and exterminate the Imperials who scuttled ashore to the northwest, he could not commit his men when they were not yet tested as a unit. The Imperials would come again, as they always did, and his company would be ready. He sharpened his yari, eyeing the depiction of the Sainokawara Gates on the map spread in front of him.
Shogunate Report on the Battle of Tomi Prefecture, It has been reported that the Daimyō's of Shigo, Chizu, Weisaki, Shiojiri and Wakasa all gathered their armies in Tomi prefecture. Most of those forces met with the Imperial armies on the southern coast. Advisers witnessing the battle described storms of wind and rain battering the two armies. Though the fighting lasted only five hours, many bodies were left in the sand, and many more succumbed afterwards to sickness and their wounds. However, the Imperial army was routed, and the Shogunate and its allies were victorious.
Letter From the Shogunate,
To the Daimyōs of the Land of the Mythic Sun With the victory at Tomi prefecture, we have defended our land from an enemy that has long trampled it. Now though, it is no secret to the Shogunate's court that the Imperial Dynasty Empire will send a great army against the southern gate in Shimogo. The Daimyōs are asked to prepare themselves for such an invasion, and to send either themselves, their spouse, or one of their heroes to the Shogunate next turn to plan for the incoming invasion.

Daimyō Haruka Yukimura of Clan Wakasa has decided to spend time with her husband, Yame. Though the two originally planned to tour the Blacksmiths, they got caught up discussing trades and administrative tasks. Both enjoyed it immensely, finding solutions to some of the prefecture's problems. Yama caught himself laughing, then suddenly sprouted a fox tail. Alarmed, he rushed to his quarters and shut himself away. Neither Lady Haruka nor servants nor advisers could convince the man to come out, for Yame believes himself cursed and a danger to everyone.

Lord Chizu sighs for the umpteeth time, rubbing a rough palm against the thin stubble running the line down both sides of his chin as he considers the thin sheaf of paper infront of him with mild trepedation. His envoy had done well compiling a detailed report of his visit to the shogunate capital, the choice of which potential bride to invite back to his humble prefecture is simple yet daunting at the same time. The Shogun's own daughter, by all accounts a vibrant and outspoken young woman. Ambitious too, his envoy had emphasized in writing. But Chizu prefecture was not tranquil Mimasaka. It had no serene, rolling plains of rice as far as the eye could see or cheerful Inns or theatres to liven up the atmosphere during the cold northern nights. Chizu didn't even have a hot spring constructed yet, which was the real tragedy of it all in the young lord Chizu's opinion.
It was a harsh land, sandwiched between forbidding mountains and the rough Northern Seas, to say nothing of the foreign threats that had so recently visited his shores. But if the flames of ambition burned brightly enough in the young girl..... "Hmmmm." And yet there was the quiet, gentle Lady Sana. 'A much more withdrawn soul but rumours abound the Shogun's court that there was none to match her intelligence in many matters. In these trying times perhaps someone with a more... thoughtful approach would be welcome to rule at his side? Decisions, decisions. Lord Chizu sighs again, reaching for the war- well, lukewarm cup of tea laying on his desk. How he wished to be able to ride out with Noru and his troops, fending off invaders and defending his fellow Daimyo. Ahh the simpler things in life.

The Daimyō Chizu Iwashita has invited Sana of Clan of Mimasaka to his estate. There she was treated to the finest music and food the prefecture had to offer. Sana did not speak much during the visit, but seemed quite attentive to the prefecture and the things she was seeing. She finally began talking when she met some court officials, asking them seemingly innocent, though very particular questions. The officials soon found themselves awed at her line of reasoning, and Sana told the Daimyō she would be more than happy to marry him if he either recruited an Adviser Hero similar to herself, or found her a rare set of scrolls of interest to her.

Turn 9 Prefecture Choice:
Choose either yourself, an Adviser Hero or a Commander hero, or a spouse, to travel to Mimasaka next turn and plan for the coming invansion.
The lands are quiet, and though many thousands still live among the hills and valleys of the Land of the Mythic Sun, they have not yet been discovered. In order to gain pop this turn, the Daimyō's only option is to contact the lord of Katakama while the Sea Town is still moored off his coasts.
Non-Daimyō Player Options: For people who aren't Daimyō's but wish to explore and mildly affect the story
Pick one job, and then pick a location. Locations involve a prefecture and a location within there. So an example would be Merchant going to the Ryokan Inn in Wakasa.
Spreadsheet is varying degrees of updated, as I am increasingly relying on players to keep track of their own resources. But that is not required for players to do, as that is a lot of work, so I'll get to updating the sheets here in a bit for those who want something quick and easy to reference. Big thankyou to Wysteria for adding previous turn resource tabs, for better resource tracking. Huge help. Anyone else who'd like to edit in their own resources and buildings is free to click the sharing link on the excel spreadsheet. As always I'll be on mobile for any questions
Yes anyone who sends themselves for the "Prefecture Choice" option automatically attends the funeral
ALSO
Big thing I forgot to mention, I raised the price of every unit by 1 coin, as I realized units pay taxes, which offsets most of their cost. So I'm trying this, as units are supposed to be on the pricey side, and if it doesn't work, I'll change it back
Can my Ronin go to the funeral as well? Sure, it's meant for the Daimyō, but with this many dead I expect it's going to also be a funeral dedicated to all those who died in the fighting.
I'd like my guys to drink to the deaths of there new found and now lost comrades.
With the victory at Tomi prefecture, we have defended our land from an enemy that has long trampled it.
Event: The army of armored crabs had their numbers severely depleted during the battle, and will need to be stationed at the Cove Outpost for two turns to return to full strength. They only require half their upkeep until then.
Event: The thousands upon thousands of corpses left over from the battle have drawn in disease and foul spirits. It is causing sickness to spread, and may soon become a problem for the whole prefecture. Priests are required in order to cleanse and burn the bodies, and banish the sickness.

Oh yeah you won't be the only warrior group headed there. Everyone's on edge, and wants to know what's about to happen. And for the funeral, of course. a Lord dying in battle is a grand, tradition-filled affair, that harkens back to when the Land of the Mythic Sun wasn't overrun by invading armies every decade

[X] Takeru's Ronin Band
[X] Drink, Relax, and Reminisce at the Funeral in Mimasaka
The battle was fierce, and most of the newer hires died from lack of training or bad luck. Takeru and the original band fought like devils on the field, and the slaughter grew so heavy that the blades of those who survived came alive, to aid there weilders in the fighting.
Takeru himself decided to name his blade spirit Hotaru, Fire Fly, for the blazing sheen that surrounded it At the height of the battle.
Now, he and his men will attend the funeral of Lord Shiga, and drink and mourn with all others on that day.
So, after being really annoyed by the lack of info, I have now made my own info sheet which must of all been a part of the nefarious Lop's plan to pressure me into making it This info is more for me than anyone else, honestly
Kameyama
Daimyo: Young, friendly, and talented, Naosuke Kameyama would much prefer to just enjoy some peace. However, he knows those times are far away, so he works to earn some rest; not just for him, but for the people under his care.

This turn specifically only a few people got new pop. The one exception being if you get Katakama to buy you 1 pop (limit 1 per Diaymo), then you can get pop even if you didn't have an event

Housekeeping stuff! I have added a Roads tab to the spreadsheet, which lists which roads seem possible from looking at the map, which have been built, and who has been responsible for said building. I've added updated road totals to the master spreadsheet.
@NathanMedium You built a road that had already been built, would you like to call that a clerical error and substitute a different road? I suggest Tomi-Shiga.
@woody12 You note that you built a road to Mimasaki at some point, but I don't see it in your turn plans, which turn did you build it? Also, I'm not sure a road all the way from you to Tomi is required, given the provinces that seem to be in the way?
I'm doing basic spreadsheet troubleshooting but it'll be easier if you send me condensed lists of things you know need to be fixed. Not resource totals, please, I'm still back in Turn Three for double-checking those, but stuff like your completed buildings that aren't marked.
This turn specifically only a few people got new pop. The one exception being if you get Katakama to buy you 1 pop (limit 1 per Diaymo), then you can get pop even if you didn't have an event
... Now hold on. When you're given the option to say "Yes" to getting more pop because you have a pop-attracting building (grand bathhouse), it shouldn't just be denied. Not getting anymore from this point on is understandable, but last turn, you gave me the ability to gain more pop without uncertainty, so please let me have it... it also kinda messes up the fact that that new pop is supposed to currently be building something.
EDIT: And yes, that new pop I should have gotten in turn 9 post is part of the 10 pop, I'm not gonna get 11 from it.
