Samurai and Daimyō, Land of the Mythic Sun

Nagiso
Daimyō Actions
[X] Tour Lumber Camp

[X] Trade 4 lumber for 1 stone and 1 iron weapon from Wakasa

[X] sell 1 lumber with Mimasaka for coin

[X] Stone Fortifications (2 coin/4 stone/4 turns/1 pop)

Turn 8 Prefecture Choice:
Those with population-attracting buildings, may choose to accept an extra pop this turn. Those without population-attracting buildings can choose to send out warriors to search for people to invite back to the prefecture

[X] Send out Scouting Party to find people

@Lop i can trade with Mimasaka right?

We are still doing the recurring iron trade, right? o.o

Waaaait a minute...

@Lop

Wysteria apparently is paying two coin a turn in upkeep for me, And I seem to have a single pop assigned to me.

Does that mean I currently have four coin, since I was hired two turns ago and earned two coins prior to being hired?

And what is the purpose of having a Pop assigned to me?
You should be adding to Wakasa's pop, not the other way around. And the money you earn from the service to the prefecture I'll have to figure out, but I think it works out that you been earning it all. Expanding your company too big too quickly will have some drawbacks however

Yes you can trade with the Shogunate

The 1 pop assigned to them is mostly shorthand for me so that I can easily eyeball that I'm not spending my military-and-military-dependents pop on, say, building rice paddies.

@Lop i edited so i can build a road to Tomi i plan on having as many roads as i can i want to be the new Rome. All roads lead to Nagiso is this possible.

Edit can we also get titles for actions done they don't have to do anything just sound cool.

Everybody with an Adviser or something similar picked up one, or a building that attracted pop (if I missed that let me know)

I picked the scouting option, and I have Noru so does that count? Just wondering so I know how much pop I have.

@woody12 i mean I've already built one to Shiojiri and you've already built one to me so not needed?

Lord Chizu sighs for the umpteeth time, rubbing a rough palm against the thin stubble running the line down both sides of his chin as he considers the thin sheaf of paper infront of him with mild trepedation. His envoy had done well compiling a detailed report of his visit to the shogunate capital, the choice of which potential bride to invite back to his humble prefecture is simple yet daunting at the same time. The Shogun's own daughter, by all accounts a vibrant and outspoken young woman. Ambitious too, his envoy had emphasized in writing. But Chizu prefecture was not tranquil Mimasaka. It had no serene, rolling plains of rice as far as the eye could see or cheerful Inns or theatres to liven up the atmosphere during the cold northern nights. Chizu didn't even have a hot spring constructed yet, which was the real tragedy of it all in the young lord Chizu's opinion.

It was a harsh land, sandwiched between forbidding mountains and the rough Northern Seas, to say nothing of the foreign threats that had so recently visited his shores. But if the flames of ambition burned brightly enough in the young girl..... "Hmmmm." And yet there was the quiet, gentle Lady Sana. 'A much more withdrawn soul but rumours abound the Shogun's court that there was none to match her intelligence in many matters. In these trying times perhaps someone with a more... thoughtful approach would be welcome to rule at his side? Decisions, decisions. Lord Chizu sighs again, reaching for the war- well, lukewarm cup of tea laying on his desk. How he wished to be able to ride out with Noru and his troops, fending off invaders and defending his fellow Daimyo. Ahh the simpler things in life.

before the harsh winter months arrive

O_O
We need to stock up food, fast

Tome holds court in his absence

I see so that what wife's and husbands can do

The Koharumaru are slip out into the surrounding country to get a lay of the land. There they find fleeing farmers and invite them back to the prefecture. The unsure of the diminutive servants, the farmers agree, adding +1 pop to the prefecture.

So Lop a question,
Does this mean i get 3 pop this turn
1 from the 'Yes' towards settling the people attracted to my bathhouse,
1 in form of the Koharumaru
and 1 from the people they found ?

I was thinking they'd be more military geared but that's actually a fine turn of events of you want to donate them to the temple. Your call

My plan for the kappa, if I had ever managed to recruit them, would have been, to set them up as rice farmers, you know since they would be experts at water manipulation and what else,

Is there any chance I can donate the Kappa Adepts to the Daimyō to do with as he sees fit and work in the temple?

I would also totally 'buy' them

I more meant, donate them, then the priests work at the temple. Work at the temple next year. But that could work for me. @sidestory, what would you want me to do with them? It's your province and you have the biggest and best temple, so... priests wanna keep on your good side. XP Keep in mind the strengths and weaknesses of Kappa, including their bowl heads and their, well, general strength. Oh, maybe set up a cucumber patch for them to tend as well?

Oh, Tamehara recommends that if the Daimyō wishes for the Kappa to be his, whether as laborers, priests, warriors, or medicine workers, that he personally come to meet the Kappa, and have them bow to him, before refilling their bowls for them by hand from a clean section of the river. Maybe presenting them with cucumbers he himself carved the names of the Kappa into as well. If the Kappa do not have names by the time the Daimyō arrives for them, that might be a good way to award them names, as befitting of citizens of Shiojiri.

[x] Tour Construction of Hot Springs
[x] Shinobi Ninja Camp
[x] Buddhist Temple

[x] Recruit Monkey-King Warriors
[x] Yes
[x] Trade @KaldorDraigo (Give 1 stone in exchange for 1 iron weapon cache)
[x] Trade Misakasa (2 food and 2 lumber for 4 coin)

I was wondering if I had enough coin, and after counting from the start... I don't know how much you guys have, but I swear I have around 34... does that sound right?

I am on the lookout for some iron weapon caches. Hit me up.

Chizu Prefecture will have two Iron Weapon Caches next turn. What do you have to trade? Priority stone but will take coin.

We trade next turn (turn 9) and you get two caches in turn 10. If you want, I have a Iron Cache ready for trade now. Which means I could add it to the vote and you'll have one cache next turn.
Technically, I won't need an iron cache until turn... 10/11? But sure, we could trade now if you need the stone for something immediately.

That's what I tried to do from the start, but doing so requires the presence of a musician or a merchant
Well what ever
I kinda planned to have them work as laborers since my province is not a coastal province and I plan to specialize in food

I don't know how much you guys have, but I swear I have around 34... does that sound right?

Yeah that sound kinda right, since you build the Bathhouse early
I mean I have something like 25 Coins and I have been literally throwing them away, with how I donated some to NPC's

Also while I'm at it

@Pensive-Nerves, @NathanMedium, anybody of you interested in trade 2 Lumber for 1 stone or 2 Coin ?
@Wysteria if possible I would like to buy an Iron Weapon Cache and a Wodden Weapon Cache somewhere in the next 2 turns
@Lop I know the Quarry is not a direct upgrade for the stonemine, but could I do so anyway ? I would be willing to pay the full costs even
It's just having a building around that I would never ever use again, would be kinda bothersome

Edit: Also a question regarding War, if I send troops to aid another province, do I give up my Daimyo action by doing this, since I am without a commander and somebody has to lead them?

You're first in my queue for next turn's weapons production. Also, if you're doing a food specialty, would you be interested in a long term export deal for coin?

Speaking of, @Vanestus do you have 1 more food per turn I could import?

Sure can do,
However I probably won't be able to do so until turn 10, since I need to upgrade my rice paddy's first and build some more, in order to get comfortable enough about my food situation to permanently trade some of it

Hm....It seems like the Armored Crabs dont need Pop, so I have 1 more pop. Nice!
