Yeah, there are two reasons for that. The much stronger reason is that I got sucked into the curbstomp and didn't want to pull focus. The weaker reason is that Danny, Sophia, spoiler and spoiler, and anyone else who spoiler eyes spoiler Taylor gets a spoiler of ultimate spoiler. And they all spoiler differently.

But if you're pining for some Danny, rest assured he's got an interlude coming up. Probably within the next couple chapters.

To be honest,
I'm leaving it sort of intentionally vague. I don't expect it to be particularly plot relevant, at least for quite a ways into the story. So I'm trying to write it so it works whichever head canon you want to go with. Some of the internal justification for her being a regular, though certainly powerful parahuman has been hinted at but not laid out yet.

Keep it vague. The more mystery, the better.
 
I love it.

I'm still a bit curious about her power though. It sounds a bit off with what I imagine the Baron is all about, but I realise that we still know nearly nothing about it, so I'll just keep watching. :p
 
I believe her powers are sorta like Thanatos in Greek mythology in that she can take and give life and death along with the ability to travel in and through the "Underworld" to go places.

The thing about religious icons, is that any image of a God IS the God. Triggering with Baron Samedi's powers and his symbolism would tend to make her at the very least an avatar of that God, if the Baron chose to do so. The God doesn't have to utilize the image, mind you -- and it's very common for people to dress as the Baron during certain festivals -- but never assume there is no chance of the God being present when his image is.

He did plenty he signed his kid over to a government agency. That's pretty much Danny. Only rarely do you see him go.......oh that might be a bad idea.
This is pretty authentic Danny. I do love how even if you don't want to be a ward, someone can sign you up.
 
Cool! We're right up there with Protoss!Taylor (I think; that was a long time ago - Tal'darim, I believe) for shortest stint in the Wards after joining willingly, but with lots more threats.

My dimension, my rules - pulling people into your personal dimension... pretty terrifying power (and she has more power over it than MahoRanma!Ranma did). Awesome.

I like her reaction to the complete bypassing of her own attempted murder allegation, which, well, I can believe too - perhaps this Piggot is of the 'I need them to work together whether they like it or not' variety, perhaps she has other motives.

Also, for maximum brown pants, absolutely pull Marquis out of the Birdcage to be her decorator, and pay him by making sure he and Amelia can have an uninterrupted getting to know each other lunch at Fugly Bob's before putting him back in the Birdcage.

:whistle: At some point after the end of the first arc I will put up a spoilers WoG post about exactly what her powers are. But not yet. Live in uncertainty! I command it!

Best alt power ever!

Still hoping for Taytay to get a sane power but still goes full evil and kills all the heroes. Why must she be a hero? Why can't she rez Eden and join Scion? So many options in worm and yet only the stupid ones are chosen!
 
Yesssssssssss. That was a very bad idea on Taylor's part, and Piggot and Armsmaster are about to be quarantined, but damn if it isn't satisfying.

Wonder what Danny's tone tasted like; mildew? Rot?
