RWBY: When ROBs have had enough (AU)

w34v3r: Received.

Write: Correct me if I'm wrong about this, but doesn't the place that the transporter sends you to need to be archived? Otherwise you could be teleported into a wall.

NEW LIST:

1. Imperial Inferno Pistol (Warhammer 40k, RaptorusMaximus)
2. Kuni crystal nodachi (Legend of the 5 rings, w34v3r)
3.
4.

Yes its from L5R, it's the top tier anti-corruption material, less taint protection than jade, but just as effective on offense, never runs out, and works on shadow corruption and shades as well, and can reveal them if you pass light through the crystal.

question, what happens if there aren't enough individual players to fill out the list? Cause rn there are only like...three people who are active in this thread.

If it doesn't happen to break the "no WMD" rule, may I suggest the M-920 Cain from Mass Effect?

For reference, it's the gun that does this (skip to 1:02 for the relevant bit):

Now, granted, it has one or two issue--the four second charge time, for starters--and it probably isn't as potent as the Inferno Pistol, but it does have range, and might be a useful tactical asset in select combat scenarios.

And, really, nothing quite says "fuck you and the souless hell-beast you rode in on" like a mushroom cloud.

Edit: jolly good then.
[X] M-290 Cain--AKA "Death by Sufficient Velocity."

[X] That ridiculous 100 megaton total conversion bazooka that isn't technically a WMD because of eliminating the splash damage

Tyrannops: The gun itself is fine, but you would need to send ammo along with it after you charged it.

Potato: I'm only assuming this, but does the Anywhere door also need some kind of archive?

Others: Received.

I don't think she has the muscular strength to throw one, so she would need a launcher. Which unfortunately makes the discs a type of ammunition, therefore separate from the launcher itself. You can send them in though.

"Hey Summer; so we've opted to put in a lot of really powerful guns this shipment. You've already been told about the Inferno Pistol, but there's a few others going in. My contribution is a weapon resembling a rocket launcher called the Total Conversion Bazooka. It actually doesn't shoot rockets though, being more like a laser.

When fired with its optimal ammunition, this weapon can deliver an amount of energy equivalent to a ball of TNT three and a half miles across to a single target; I'm not quite sure how it works, but the device prevents any of the energy from leaking out of the target and devastating the landscape. Basically, anything you fire that weapon at dies instantly.

Anyway, since it's powered by directly converting mass into energy, you should theoretically be able to reload it with anything you can shove in the ammunition chamber, the denser the better."

Gotcha.

Question regarding the preposterous 100 megaton doom cannon:

Well, two questions--namely, what happens if you miss and hit a significant landscape feature--like, say, a mountain, or the ground, for instance--and what's its rate of fire?

Also... I'm really starting to wonder if anything else is really necessary at this point.

Like, unless Galactus shows up, there really isn't anything left on this planet that is even remotely a threat.

1: Safety limiters probably cut off the energy after demolishing everything within 20 meters.

2: Rate of fire is however fast you can shove matter in the firing chamber. Theoretically you could shoot it with air as the ammo and still have ridiculous levels of overkill.
