It seems that the winner is Summer!
Yay?
Definitely! However, we need to be careful about Summer. A couple of the askers brought up some good points.
The OC one, right?
Yep.
Well, I could use fanon to determine her personality...
Nope. Bad Idea. It will NEVER work.
Yeah, I thought so. Anyway, how are you going to get Summer to the Hub?
Well, I could magic her back to life, but that would mean the hub is restricted.
How so?
Important fact about ROBs: We may be omnipotent, but universes can't take the full brunt of our power. We need to limit ourselves in order to actually do something.
Hmm. Ok, then what should we do instead?
Well, I have an Idea...
Summer was not having a good mission. It was supposed to be easy, a little request from Leo to clear out some Ursa. Simple, right? Wrong! Not only did she attract an entire grimm horde, but also the Nuckalavee that was credited with destroying some towns. And to add the cherry on top, it turned out that Leo was a traitor and was working with Salem! She had been cursing him in every language she knew (it wasn't a very long list) while trying to fight for her life, but she overextended. A small foot out of place, and had her aura broken (along with most of her bones and her sword) for her troubles. Now Salem was walking slowly towards her, most likely to gloat. "It seems that the promised warrior of Ozpin has finally fallen." Yep, definitely gloating. "If only you had stayed away from hunting, I might not have killed you. No, wait, I would have anyway." "Are you done yet?" Salem looked rather peeved that her rant was interrupted, but her face quickly smoothed out. "Yes, as a matter of fact, I was. Now, do you have any final words?" "Nah, mostly because I plan to continue living." "Well, I'm afraid your plans will have to be put on hold. Indefinitely." She was slowly charging up a large orb of energy, that would most likely vaporize her molecule by molecule. 'Well, it seems like I can't keep that promise Ruby. I'm sorry.'
Oh really? Well, we can't have that, now can we?
No, I suppose we can't.
'Huh?'
Salem must not have known what was going on either, due to her confused face. Suddenly, her eyes widened, and she was looking directly under Summer. Summer herself looked down, and stared into a white void. Her only thought was, 'Wait, what?'
Summer landed on the ground with a large Thump. However, this thump agitated her very broken bones rather violently, so she spent the next 5 minutes just lying there in agony. 'Ow. Ow. Ow. Note to self Summer, never fall into white voids while all of your bones are broken.' After her mind stopped being nothing more then Pain, she started looking around, careful not to aggravate her bones. 'Huh. I wonder where this is. ...Is anyone there?'
I'm glad you asked!
'What the duck-'
I, am a ROB (that stands for Random Omnipotent Being). I was watching your world line, and thought it sucked. So, I decided to change it!
'Uhh, getting really freaked out here-'
Don't worry. She gets like this quite a bit.
'Another one?' Hey, that's mean!
You have done nothing. But practice your super hammy speech. For Five. Whole. HOURS.
Well, it's not my fault if you don't like good Writing when you hear it.
'Could someone please start making sense? Or at least try to make this situation start making sense? Preferably with names?'
Oh, my bad. My name is Lucene, and the Grump you heard is called Dinesh.
Yo.
'Ok, so why am I here?'
Well, like I said before, your time line isn't a very nice one. You disappear, your daughters nearly get killed, they then go to Beacon only for it to fall during the Vytal festival. It's not a very fun timeline to be in.
'REALLY not liking the fact that you just told me that my children nearly die there.'
Well, there's not much I can do right now. You need to be the change, but I know you can't do it alone.
'But no one else is here. ...Is there?'
Kind of. You see, I have some people nearby who can send out some responses to you, with ideas on a course of action. They can't force you to do something, but the can suggest. Along with using the Hub.
'The Hub? Whats that?'
The Hub is where you are right now! It's what some would call a pocket dimension, but can be filled with many things across the multiverse.
'...Oookayyy. That seems kind of strange, but I guess I can go for it.'
I'm glad that your so accepting! Anyway, due to my own power restrictions, I can't send some things.
'What things?'
Well, I can only send 5 things at once before having to recharge in this universe, and they can't be more then the size of a man.
Any other restrictions?
Well, yes. Due to their nature, some things like weapons of mass destruction or miracle tools cannot be sent. (I'm looking at you, sonic screwdriver.)
Ok then. What else?
Well, there are some other things that I can't do. For example, I can't let Summer suddenly do magic, so most things magical are a no go. However, magical items, such as amulets or rings are fine. Just not from D&D.
Why not?
Have you Seen some of the stuff they can cook up in there?
...Good point.
Speaking of points, final point. No living things from other universes. I don't care how resilient they are in their own universe, but this is quite simply too much for them.
Sounds right.
I thought so. Anyway, I'm going to prepare to send the things in, So I'll leave. HOWEVER, I need to mention something important and give something to you.
?
For a very limited amount of time, the Hub can perform a time dilation. However, this also have restrictions to it. Namely, it can only be utilized if she is training in something.
Any time limits?
She can use it for 2 days at max, and then let it recharge for 4 days.
Good to know. What was the thing that you needed to give?
Oh! It's very important.
Suddenly, right in front of Summer's eyes, a strange set of earbuds appears.
This is the Planar loosening Ocular Transmogrification device, or PLOT device. It will allow you to hear the askers questions.
Yep, that is very important.
Definitely!
Anyway, We'll see you soon.
Bye!
'...That was quite the overload.'
That it was. However, this has been running on for quite a while, and I think it's time to wrap up. Therefore, it's best to wait for responses now more then anything.
'Ok then. I'll see you later too.'
See ya.
Your view suddenly pans to Summer's face, which is rather clear from any grime.
'Uhh...Please be gentle?'
(AN: New update! This time we actually have someone that isn't omnipresent, and needs some sense ASAP. I would also recommend some medical supplies, if I were you. Anyway, please post any items that are to be sent to Summer using a [X]. If the item is a weapon, please also include a link to a wiki. Here's hoping to a successful quest!)
