That depends, how fancy was the braid?EDIT: Also, while Youko hasn't done any hacking, you didn't actually think Yuzuki just spent the last few weeks braiding her twin's hair, did you?

Plenty of better times when your the one doing the building, and it is by WOG to be very attention consuming.Although I suppose I should observe that what better time is there to practice then when waiting for stuff to get built?
Also hacking could be counterproductive since the SIs (Right and left 'brains' of Gideon020 maybe?) apparently want to keep up the Ghost Fleet idea until they have enough hulls in the water to stop being subtle. Make everyone too scared to go near the coast when a fog bank rolls in even if the Fog ships and drones aren't in position to stop them.Plenty of better times when your the one doing the building, and it is by WOG to be very attention consuming.
Hacking could also be counterproductive for additional reasons.
Maybe because Takao would have noticed when Yamato started to use her as a dress up doll? Or that she end up with an Afro even though she's not connected to Yamato? Or that the AC already used it once so she has a vague idea of what it's like?Besides, who's to say her counter-hack in the manga didn't involve Flagship-issued backdoors and other exploits that I don't have yet?
B) Directorate could have somebody with a Geass that improves their hacking

Which makes sense since they're more or less cheat codes given to a human from the human unconscious. Alternatively the human unconsciousness is a program hooked up into the back of every human's brain and Geass are backdoors with certain pre-programmed effects.I don't know. Geass powers seem to tend to be directed at other living things rather then machines...
As for the lack of AA, the narrative pretty much allows the story to ignore it.
Though I imagine that they do have them, considering that they have tube artillery with an effective range of over 500 km.

It's an artillery piece. Britannia had a bunch of them during their war with the EU.Wait... what?! Are you sure that isn't a one-off weapon or anything?
On a different note, was it ever said how long Lloyd Asplund was in Japan developing the Lancelot prior to season 1 of CG? Or why the heck he went to the area while designing that thing in the first place?
I dunno. I was under the impression he went to Japan because of the amount of terrorist activity in the region. The Lancelot could be used in small engagements against enemy forces where Brittania had all the cards, so even if something went wrong the unit could be easily retrieved and the opponents wouldn't get away. Then Zero happened. On a different note, was it ever said how long Lloyd Asplund was in Japan developing the Lancelot prior to season 1 of CG? In all fairness all that advanced holographic stuff explicitly was EU stuff. Now they have holographic tablets and phones. Their computers are also similar, with holographic screens and such.

What size do you reckon those are, I'd peg them as at least 40 Mike-Mikes.In all fairness all that advanced holographic stuff explicitly was EU stuff.
Blood of the Samurai and Japanese Liberation Front both use AA weapons onscreen.
Honestly, no frame of reference is given. What size do you reckon those are, I'd peg them as at least 40 Mike-Mikes.
And they never seemed able to hit the Knightmares at all. Show had to keep the mini-mecha as the ultimate weapon on the battlefield of course.Blood of the Samurai and Japanese Liberation Front both use AA weapons onscreen.
So he'll be there to present the Lancelot as a 'Test bed of the technologies that will enable Brittania to push back the Fog and reclaim the seas that are rightfully ours1'.
Euro Britannia had them.In all fairness all that advanced holographic stuff explicitly was EU stuff.
I would *almost* feel sorry for them if the Holy Britannian Empire weren't so deliciously evil"Run, dammit! Run and don't stop running! Now! Before they get you! Go!"

Even the nice ones are evil.I would *almost* feel sorry for them if the Holy Britannian Empire weren't so deliciously evil
This is canon from what I understand as Milly pulls that kind of insanity all the time.Lelouch decided then and there that he'd rather be back in General Todoh's dojo getting beaten black and blue in sparring practice then consider receiving any nuggets of knowledge from Milly Ashford. He already had enough trouble after that cross-dresser's ball back in March, and he was still getting weird looks from the rest of the male students.
Re-purposed weapons maybe? While the weapons do look like AA turrets, and certainly had things like the elevation for it, I should point out that we only ever saw them shooting at Knightmare frames... ie: ground targets.
There weren't any air targets on site. We do see air forces in the shots of the initial Brittanian invasion, as well as during the Black Rebellion (Gawain is hilariously OP, btw). It makes sense that there would be AA weapons to deal with that sort of thing. While the weapons do look like AA turrets, and certainly had things like the elevation for it, I should point out that we only ever saw them shooting at Knightmare frames... ie: ground targets.
It seems like it, scrounged up AA repurposed for defense probably.
