Honestly i wanted the moon people as moko is my favorite touhou character but if they wont win then my second favorite is patchy and she is the greatest magician in terms of pure spell power.

Well technically she is on the lower tiers when it comes to pure power (at least in my head canon) but she is pretty much the highest when it comes to the technique and formulas allowing her to use her magic very efficiently.
 
IIRC, Patchouli has a lot of the theory down, but her bad health means she can't practice a lot of it to work out any kinks and/or misconceptions she has.

If that makes sense.
 
As a side note: I find it funny that the two leading factions are also the two factions most inclined to eat people.
 
Her power varies a lot due to her health, she can't go all out without overexerting herself.

None better for R&D though, provided suitable minions to carry out the actual work.

Mokou is my favorite too, but I'm more interested in the Scarlet Mansion as a whole (that, and ah... not very much a fan of the Lunarians, thankyouverymuch)
 
I'll be calling the votes in roughly 3 hours but in the meantime I have to do some


Sad that I won't have any in game reason for that to happen.

Depending on when in the timeline this starts, The Scarlet Devil crew would also have Hobgoblins and a Chupacabra.

Considering that Satori and her merry band of misfits, pets and Oni won has anyone here read 'At Chirei' by Karaages Shop (Circle) & Karaage Tarou (google to get it)?

The story gives some interesting views as to how the various inhabitants of the Underground interact (and Parsee is hilarious).

There is also a bit of Nightmare Fuel as it goes into just what Koishi's actions did to her own mind and how terrified/confused it made her sister as they never needed words to communicate before.:(
 
Well then i'm going to bed and unless we suddenly get a surprise reversal by the time I wake up you'll be playing as Satori (Lowest direct combat power of the options but highest diplomacy and intrigue)
