If it was a Anti-Air fighter it sure lack Anti-Air weaponry , it can only like body slam[and it's not even that heavy compare to other flyers] It felt more like a Messenger with the lack of weps but it is fast

Thats why i said the current valstrax is like a proto-type which require air+ weak to ice/fire[space]
if they upgrade the reactor to like some kind of Fusion Reactor to solve the air problem & bc it's in space u dont need the light armor & can ramp up his Armor & bulk

This, with the sheer speeds Valstrax move at they can easily either strafe hit-and-run slower flyers, or suicide bomb into more heavily armored targets. Any fighter pilot will tell you that in air-to-air combat, speed is king, which is why altitude is so important; altitude can be rapidly converted into speed by diving, and speed is what wins the fight. This is even more true when the aircraft in question do not have long-range seeking attacks, though even then it is still true because speed is how you avoid said attacks.

Speed kills, in air-to-air combat, speed kills your enemies.

(Remember, when considering the possible uses as bioweapons, ignore self-preservation; bioweapons are ultimately expendable just like drones.)

Valxtrax are TOUGH too- they can dive, at high speed, into water, to catch and lift a prey item.
Frankly, I would not be surprised if Valstrax had initially been designed as high-speed interceptors- their wake and corrosive dragon element (of which few other monsters are immune to) would be enough to disorient or damage incoming aircraft/flying monsters.

or even do a fly by Fire blast

but valstrax wings are delicate to flying & u can only like body ram in the air
like at least be able to a fly-by Side Blaster to disorient the enemy

As like most flying enemies can atk at range [even thou they don't fly fast]

Look at kushala they can control the wind which can mess with valstrax's flying

Teostra can just Bomb himself when u get close for trade

Yama Tsugami is so dam fat but your fast enough to hit & run him, but you may get eaten by his swallow

Aletron can do range atk mid air, even thou valstrax is fast enough to doge it would most likely disrupt the atk

Velkhana can cause a snow storm for dot

Shantien while lacking max spd they can do Brust speed for doging valstrax body ram

Tartaronis is super bulky not sure if valstrax can even ram without taking too much dmg to self

Nergeantie is like super tanky+ regen for Valstrax[you can only run]

But if valstrax is fighting modern fighter then yea its pretty stronk with its flexiable flight path+ max spd

Have you not read the earlier posts on dogfights Speed it self is a weapon

Valstrax trades its lying long range attacks for unimaginable amount of speed

not everything is about range

This is correct. Valstrax, adolescent and adult, can breach the sound barrier- and go faster, as their wings can change shape to minimize not only air resistance but act as secondary intakes.
Ram intakes.
A supersonic fighter vs a subsonic one is a generally set match in a straight fight. The fastest fighter can decide on how and when to start and end a conflict.
Plus, supersonic shockwaves are devistating to organic flapping wings- a Valstrax vs any other dragon just needs to barely miss them at mach 1+ to knock them out of the sky, then hover and bombard them slowly until the enemy dies.
A downed dragon is a dead dragon.

Especially if he figures out how to use shouts to awaken other dragons.
Language is one of the pillars of sentience and critical thinking- and without language, even humans are just naked apes.
 
I think I ruptured my stomach reading the last chapter, even if it's just an omake I kinda wished he turned himself into a flying pickle it would have been the funniest sh*t I've seen.

... I wrote an omake chapter where he does that. I think it is the last chapter- but I am glad you enjoyed it!
I'll upload again when I am finished the next arc, and you should get that ruptured stomach looked at.

but if they really learn wouldn't some monster try shouts & blow themself up
 
Why is Alduin complaining about Fatalis' arm length? They seem pretty long to me, especially when standing up.

Also I'm curious, is the magic the gathering cross only meant to be a way to understand monster energy or is this eventually going to branch into a jump chain with Valstrax crossing planes into other dimensions?

Alduin's arm troubles- he has thousands of years of memories having long arms with which to do things. His face was within easy scratching reach, and he could pick his teeth with minimal fuss. As a Pickle, that is no longer true, and thus, frustrating.
As a Fatalis, the fact that he still has tiny arms plus proper wings, it is baffling to him.
Plus, it's funny.

The MTG cross- yes. Yes to both, hopefully.
