Also, lots of new biomass and stats to work with, question is what direction we take there.

Can't crack open the casket, the bugs don't give a hoot, and we're a bit more bulky...

I say hold of on exploration for a little bit longer. We know how our body works, kinda, but theres still a few things we need to figure out.

Like what was that nesting instinct earlier, what's a "node socket" and if we can use that meat we just ate for anything. I mean we wanted to eat that guy for a reason right?

From what I understand we now have 341 of ...Genetic Memories, maybe? We gained this from eating and can spend that on what I presume to be stats and a skill tree. I think buying nodes will open up new skill trees. This is just a presumption, thought.
 
Instincts definitely sound like a good thing to have, especially if having them lets us impart them onto our future creations, giving them autonomy.

I am assuming that nodes can go into body slots.
 
I get the feeling that the Spine part is something we attach to created minions.
