Note; She, the protag, seemingly crawled out of some goop on the ground, Maybe she should investigate that to a long with the coffin that was already open at their 'origin' point.

Whatever hit these guys was not nice. Hell the green dude's head was basically split in half like a melon.

Then again there does seem to be some brain matter left in there. Maybe we could use it? If it hasn't expired at any rate.
 
I have noticed all the corpses seem to have some kinda brand on their heads, maybe some kinda label marking people to be thrown into coffins and thrown away?

I guess we don't like eating meat that has been dead for too long, good to know. Guess that means undead are off menu.

Looking at the corpses, we have 4 distinct..."endings".

The bell cultist (monk? Belmont Bellmonk?) seemed normalish in lying there. Probably accepted death, or was dead before being put in the coffin. Has a heart symbol plus ring of life with a cut.

Green person... is gruesome and the most vague. Where the mouth is supposed to be is a melted mess, and the skull is broken open to show the brains. The armor suggests that they were fighter of some kind. Has a cut ring of life that has...rays? Implying this one lived a varied (or influential) life, more so than the rest.

The man in red. Eyes sliced away, and his arm seems broken, as if fighting and resisting his fate with every inch he could give. The suit implies he was someone important, or had a good amount of wealth. Has a cut ring of life.

Last but not least, the orange person. They wryly grin, face angled as if looking at someone hovering over the coffin. The way they hold their stomach makes me think that perhaps they had been stabbed. A forced sacrifice perhaps? They have armor. A fallen warrior? They smile defiantly even in death. Has a cut ring of life.

Only the bellmonk had the heart symbol. Why? Why even shave the head and carve a RoL symbol in the first place?

I stand by what I posted earlier. Anyone with the bell symbol is lunch.

Might as well see if we can eat these guys. Hell with any luck this will end up like futurama and they'll be like beef jerky.
