After a bit of thought you quickly start tapping the items you want to purchase, the blue screen from nowhere rippling for a moment before the item gets quickly added to your purchase order. Within moments the majority of your GP, a currency exclusive to Adventurer's that can be used at Guild affiliated locations according to the receptionist, is spent for a collection of what you can only call the most basic of equipment. A quick tap of the "PURCHASE" scrawled in the bottom corner of the screen and the entire thing simply disappears to reveal the GP value on your Guild card rapidly ticking down. You spend some time staring at the weird, probably magical card in awe before your attention is broken by someone clearing their throat.
Looking up you find the dwarf glaring at you with a backpack raised up in his hand, wait what? How the hell did he manage to get that!? There's nothing anywhere in this store!
Before you can carry on down that line of thought the dwarf chucks the bag at you causing you to hurriedly catch the surprisingly heavy pack.
"Don't be so shocked newbie. It's just simple application of runic arrays, every Adventurer's Guild above at a township level or above is built to this kind of standard, they only really get more amazing as you go up though you're not ready for city work. The earliest you'd be able to find work at a city level Guild would be Copper rank, but I recommend you wait until Iron before upon that, large settlements tend to draw greater dangers and all.
Now, if you've not got anything else to buy then go on. I expect I'll have to deal with the other newbies before long."
A shake of his hand causes the shining coin from earlier to appear in the dwarf's hand, his posture telling you things are finished here in a way that causes you to grumble as you turn around and leave. Checking through the pack as you leave you easily find all the items you purchased easily stored within the bag.
[X] Guild Library
You head out to the reception area again to find the registration line empty, the others who signed up at the same time as you largely dispersed except for a three gathered around the wall spanning Quest Board on the far side of the lobby. Turning away from them, you head down the hallway leading to the Guild Library and find yourself facing a short hallway ending in an actual, solid metal door which actually shimmers as you walk up to it. A terse voice enters your ear from seemingly nowhere,
"Present your Guild Card to the door to enter, if you don't have rights to enter the Library then please leave."
You take the Guild Card from a pocket in your robes and hold it up to the door following which the light on the door disappears causing it to swing open, beyond it you see a room about as large as the lobby lined with bookshelves. Another metal door like this one seemingly leading into the next area is tucked away in a corner behind several tables and chairs meant for readers.
"Be aware that any damage to Library contents can result in lifetime ban from all Guild Libraries, or even disbarment from the Guild. I'll be watching."
After that you are left in silence, the main door slamming shut behind you as you enter. A quick glance at the shelves reveals they're organized according to categories that are listed on metal plaques attached to the shelf. Local Monsters, Local Geography, Basic Adventuring Knowledge, etc.

If you mean whether there's a book on such in this area of the library then the answer would be no. Everything in the beginner area is mostly information that would help Adventurers familiarize themselves with the job, dangers, and basic needs of the job.
You immediately head over the section for Adventurer's advice and take down the first book on the shelf, it's plain leather bound cover bearing a just as plain title "An Adventurer's Guide to Basics". Clutching it, you walk over to one of the tables and take a seat before cracking the book open and immediately diving into its contents which turn out to be quite useful.
---
Little information is explained to new adventurers joining the Guild as a form of test, non-inquisitive or those only seeking quick fame and wealth will find the job incredibly challenging. Such an act puts the lives of new recruits in danger, but it's better a few overly zealous idiots die than they end up waking a sleeping Lich that proceeds to turn the countryside into the Land of the Dead. Considering you are reading this then chances are you're not a complete fool, so allow me to introduce you to the basics of the Adventurer's Guild.
Adventurers are essentially mercenaries, but instead of waging wars for Nobles or Land Owners we combat the endless problems the people of Eldast face from simple herb gathering requests to slaying Dragons and combating Fell Elf tribes. What requests an Adventurer can take are based on their Rank which starts at Wood and goes up to Venerated Hero, more difficult requests requiring higher ranks to take on in order to lower the chance of failure and limit deaths. In order the Guild's Ranks are: Wood, Porcelain, Copper, Bronze, Iron, Steel, Silver, Gold, Mithril, Master, Grandmaster, Hero Aspirant, Lesser Hero, Hero, Grand Hero, and Venerated Hero. As it stands the most wide spread Adventurer Rank is Iron with several hundred thousand members at that Rank while the Guild has over a thousand Lesser Heroes, three hundred Heroes, eighty-seven Grand Heroes, and a mere eight Venerated Heroes as of the time this was written.
In order to increase your rank you simply need to complete Quests from the Guild Board, each quest granting a number of Rank Advancement Points according to it's difficulty, but be warned: Failing a quest will result in a loss of twice the amount of Advancement Points that you stood to earn, and if you hit zero then another failure will cause you to drop a Rank even being kicked out of the Guild if you fail while holding Wood Rank and zero points. Do note, newcomers are granted a safety net of two failures before points are lost though these are lost the moment you Rank up.
....
Many of you likely think that the Guild Store offers a rather pitiful variety of goods at your Rank, but that is simply a lack of thought on your end. Just a slight amount of effort and a newbie can use the offered goods at Wood Rank to put together some incredibly useful items: stuffing a rag into the mouth of a flask of oil and lighting it allows for the creation of an impromptu fire bomb, covering rags in the offered poultice allows the staunching of bleeding with a lower risk of infection and increased healing speed, and much more. Good gear can be commissioned for money earned from Quests, but ingenuity and improvisation is priceless.
....
For new adventurers I recommend taking requests that are closer to your original set of skills, a lot of the jobs for those of Porcelain or Wood Rank have to do with just assisting the common folk in their daily lives. These jobs are generally largely ignored, but are a more guaranteed method of progression even if it is somewhat slower than being hired to go kill some Vicious Rabbits or investigating a cave to find out if the Guild needs to dispatch higher ranked adventurers to clear it. Besides, you would be surprised what some of the simplest people can present you as a reward if you manage to do their request well.

You close the book with a thud, you've not finished all of its contents, but you feel a desire to check out some of the information provided in another section before the day comes to an end. After placing the book back where you found it you head over to the section labeled "Local Monsters" and grab the first book on the shelf, a rather barren one only carrying two other such books. On the front of this one you find "Common Beasts, Monsters, and Dangers of the Relgar Township Vol. I" somewhat satisfied by the rather name you quickly return to your seat and start to read it.
---
For those reading this a forewarning is important: Forget all the things you've heard in fairy tales and fiction stories if you'd like to live a while longer.

Vicious Rabbits are a species classified as Dangerous Beasts as their internal quantity of mana hasn't touched the requirement for Monster classification. Vicious Rabbits are slightly large than the typical rabbit with shiny white fur, blood red eyes, and razor sharp teeth that can tear through leather like it's paper. They originate from the arrival of Demons in the world when mana was thrown into chaos, suddenly some rabbits became infected with small traces of mana leading to mutations that led them down the path of carnivores. They have rather weak constitutions with one or two blows from the average man wielding a club more than enough to end them, but their bite should still be avoided due to resulting bleeding being likely. Wood Rank adventurers are more than capable of handling one or two such creatures, but teams are recommended to fight packs. If you find yourself without a team, running is recommended. Also blunt weapons are recommended when hunting to better preserve the hide, their appearance make them worth a bit of coin.
...
Giant Rats are a species classified as Monsters due to the high internal concentration of Mana. They grow to the size of large dogs, are capable of crushing stone with their bite, live in groups of at least ten, and are incredibly unclean creatures. Porcelain Rank Adventurers are allowed to hunt these creatures, but its recommended you either form a part of five or simply wait until you're a higher rank and thus more skilled before dealing with them. While their bites can deal significant damage the true risk brought on by Giant Rats is the heightened chance of infection brought about from the uncleanliness, detoxification products are recommended if you're incapable of slaying them without being injured. They are scared of fire, but beware driving them into a corner with such means as a berserk Giant Rat is a terrifying thing.

Learned Monster Knowledge (Relgar Township, Beginner, Partial); Earned 2 Experience.
After taking a while to memorize the first two entries in the volume you relax back in your seat and take a moment to rest your eyes. Your mind starts to wander as you do onto your course of action, reading is good, but considering when you came in it's likely noon already. If you want to complete a job you'd likely need to go choose a Quest now. There's also the issue of where you're going to stay considering you spent the last of your money on registration fees and your departure from the School left you uh... well, bluntly, without a home.

GM Note: Well that ended up longer than I planned, but hopefully it provides enough information to make it worth it. If you guys have questions about what was learned in the update please ask, hopefully I managed to make the information easy to understand.
We need to do this now if we're going to do a job before the day's end, and we need money to get a room at an inn or something if we don't want to sleep on the street or camp in the woods tonight.
After putting the book back where you got it you then head back out to the lobby where you find a person in full plate with a greatsword on their back standing in front of the Quest Board, thankfully its the section for Copper Ranked Quests. Walking over to the left side of the board you find it surprisingly densely packed with requests, several of which are the same request though from different people, which you begin to read through searching for work.
Payment: Thirty Coppers, 15 GP, 1 Rank Advancement Point, 10 Experience
Description: I need an extra set of hands or two to help bring in the harvest, if you're willing then please take this request and come to * Farm.
Payment: 1 Silver, 50 GP, 1 Rank Advancement Point, 15 Experience
Description: I could use a second set of eyes to go over my books for the year's income. If you have the time and skill then please make your way to the Jolly Fox Inn after taking this request.
Payment: 1 Silver, 60 GP, 2 Rank Advancement Points, 20 Experience
Description: Some of the older documents in the Temple are beginning to fade and we simply do not have enough clergy, or time to rewrite them. If anyone would like to assist us then take this request and then come to the Temple of War in the heart of the town, surely you know it. Room and board are to be provided as it's expected to take several days to complete.
Payment: 50 Copper per 3 Golden Leaf (Quality does matter), Variable GP, Variable Rank Advancement Points, Variable Experience
Description: I have need of as many Golden Leaf as you can get your hands on, quality is important so insure proper storage. You can find me at the apothecary on the south side of the town, Gerald's Apothecary. I've provided drawings for those who've never seen Golden leaf and they can be found on the outskirts of Relgar's Northern Woods. Please only come when you have Golden leaf to deliver, I am a busy man.
Payment: 10 Copper for every pair of Vicious Rabbit ears, 5 GP for every pair of Vicious Rabbit Ears, 1 Rank Advancement Point for every ten pairs of ears, 1 Experience per every pair of rabbit ears.
Description: A rather ridiculous number of Vicious Rabbits have taken to destroying the eastern fields and after the death of several farmers Relgar's Lord has set down a bounty for the little bastards. After accepting the request bring proof of your slain foes back to the Guild to earn your reward. Also, don't damage the fields. Those who wantonly destroy the Lord's land in search of profit will find themselves at the end of his Knights swords.
After finding a few of interest, and purposefully avoiding the half a dozen requests about a missing cat or dog for the time being, you take a step back. These are your best bets to get some work in today and hopefully find a place to sleep today, some food wouldn't be too bad either...

Depends on how well you do actually transcribing them, but no time limit or expected days to finish is listed. Entirely up to your choices and the rolls.
You could take them, but the ones with multiple requesters are like the harvest one. So there are numerous farmers requesting you come help them with their harvest at their farms. Same for the book keeping one while the extermination notice just has numerous instances so several people can take it them down at once.
You can take as many quests as you want, but you should be careful of failing them if the quests are unrelated. It's also possible for Quests like the bookkeeping and harvest one to get fulfilled by someone else if you don't do them immediately.
