I see that the hiatus meant you all forgot about your sidearm and knife being confiscated, as well as your meds. Thank you Menosay for making sure people stayed informed without my intervention, and it makes me happy to see you all having reasons for both your initial votes, as well as the reasons you retracted that upon receiving a reminder.

Even if it's sparse, these things make me happier than likes.

Clinic Analysis, and Memories....
[x] Ignore the human, instead familiarize yourself with this clinic. It is the place your Master will most often be. If it is threatened, you must know every strength and every weakness of this place.

The figure who was spying on your conversation will likely be back again, it would be unwise to pursue him in this colony while you are still unarmed. Given the relative performance of your firearm versus the local ones, your aren't entirely enthused by the prospect of testing your flight suit's own protective capabilities. Thus, it is best that for now you apply yourself in less hazardous tasks.

There are two major entrances to the clinic, the rather more narrow one where you believe you entered, and one that opens into a major avenue for pedestrian traffic… it occurs to you suddenly that you haven't seen any elecars around. Was the colony small enough that electric vehicles were unnecessary? You doubted that, but it was something to keep in mind for later.

The orientation of the doors as well as their spacing was irritating to you however, as they would necessitate numerous guards to hold. If they were both to the same side of the clinic, you could at least simple have an MG set up in a siege, and cut intruders to pieces. As it was, the only place you could still place such an armament would only look down towards the narrow entrance, and a flanker would find it trivially simply to just use the other door to close in, and toss a grenade or something similar around the corner, and you would be helpless.

There appears to be another small doorway in back for employee access that at least seems to have some sort of lockdown function, so its an avenue of escape as well as a location that you needn't concern yourself with so much. As you wander about, you can count only six major rooms that you have enough access to examine. There is a seventh if you assume the door by the receptionist leads into another office like it would seem. Of the other rooms, one seems to be dedicated to scanning and diagnostic equipment, another is secure storage by your guess, you cannot read the label on the door panels. The remaining four are all setup for simultaneous treatment and observation. The rearmost room from the main doors appears to be the one designated for your current treatment, as your possessions are still present inside… those that weren't confiscated that is.

You still need to do something about getting back your sidearm, knife, and more importantly your medications. Again, as Eight, you aren't as dependent on them as Three or Four were, but they are still a quite important part of your life as a rational servant of your Master. You find yourself idly rubbing your fingers against the material of the storage compartment of your suit, letting your eyes rest on that Zeonic crest with a sigh. Reminiscing over your comrades, you wonder which of your 'siblings' may yet live. You know for a fact that One was killed, as well as Two. Three and Four however were set up fairly close to the carrier, they may have survived even with their relatively poor performance. If any of them were to be alive, Five would almost certainly have survived, after her second reconditioning she just had a sort of drive that couldn't be matched. Six though….

The two of you had disagreements in the past, but you had finally worked past those… might she still be alive if she had been focusing on your rivalry? You briefly consider the possibility of your sisters having come to this place much as you have, but considering you haven't even heard echos, on top of having felt the deaths of One, Two, Six, and Nine…

Oh god! Eleven… you finally let her convince you on this family angle, and then with Nine dead, as well as whatever your departure felt like...

STRESS 11/30

You aren't sure when you moved over to the sink, but as you vomit up a portion of your breakfast you find yourself thankful for your foresight in this. You take some deep breaths to try and regain your composure, and console yourself that Ten almost certainly survived, and she would console Eleven… Ten was always so kind like that.

Cleaning your mouth out with a quick rinse, as well as a disposable towel from the dispenser, you smooth out your t-shirt and turn to leave the room, coming up short as you notice Daniel looking at you with an expression of pity. Right… the skeptical prick with such distasteful thoughts of your… departed previous Master. Great, he's seen you at a new low.

[] "Fuck off."

[] Ignore him, move on to another task. (Write in task)

[] Attempt to remain civil with him. (Write in some dialogue points, will roll to see if you instead tell him to fuck off. Odds will vary on topic. Upon request I also will tell you odds)

AN: If you can't tell, as I'm characterizing each Ple-# differently, Eight, unless you make a good impression on her, or are a sibling, is a bitch. Kind of a stereotype with a CQB specialist, but that's just how it turned out. This is one of the things that will be made worse by STRESS.

[X] Attempt to remain civil with him.
-[X] "What? Happy to see me like this?"

No point in burning more bridges since it's pretty clear he does have sympathy for us, but past experiences we don't exactly have the nicest words for him.

[X] Attempt to remain civil with him.
-[X] "What? Happy to see me like this?"

Gonna go ahead and say that you are pretty likely to get the roll on that write-in.

A Chat with Daniel
So, given the fairly on mood write in, you only had to exceed half your current stress with a roll of your max stress. You got a 27. That said, it doesn't do much to lead him away from not pissing you off. Your 27 thus doesn't do much to keep the consequences of naive optimist Daniel being... well... Daniel.

[X] Attempt to remain civil with him.
-[X] "What? Happy to see me like this?"

You glare at the assistant for a bit, before sharply exhaling in a frustrated expression, "What? Happy to see me like this?" You practically growl out. Your glare doesn't change, though you do make a slight motion back towards the sink.

Daniel meanwhile backpedals in shock and has an appalled expression on their face, "What?! Why? How would this be something I WANT to see?" His words are rather convincing in their shock, however you are not so easily placated.

"Isn't it exactly what you desired to say though? That we were weak little girls taken advantage of by a disgusting Master?" You spit with an intensifying glare.

He almost takes another step back but stops, instead taking a step into the room, and then another towards you with a firm expression. "I'm not going to lie, what was done to you was wrong, on so many levels. We want to help you, but we need to be honest about the abuse you su- Hurk!?" You don't let him finish the sentence.

As he saw fit to keep closing you threw a powerful punch into his abdomen, forcing the air from his lungs. Then, a knee to the testicles and a grab for this collar quickly slams him to the floor. Taking a moment in his hacking to position your leg against his neck, you slap his cheek lightly to get his attention as you lean down, silhouetting your head against a ceiling light.

"I am going to make some things perfectly clear for you Daniel. Our Master was not the disgusting filth ridden image you have projected in your mind, they were a pure man with visions of a bright future for the nation, and they had us created to share in that light." When he squirms a bit, you exert a bit more pressure to keep him still, before slapping him again so that he pays attention. He only now seems to be mildly alarmed, as he was apparently taken completely by surprise.

Considering you killed two armed aggressors immediately outside this clinic, and he was aware of that, you begin to question his common sense. Giving him a moment more to realize that, no, he in fact cannot get out of this without serious harm, you continue, "We were each of us created for each other, we eleven clones, and our Master. We were strong for each other, because each of us made the others strong. Two betrayed that, and I know for a fact because of that four of my sisters are dead, as well as our Master."

Letting that detail sink in, you let some of your weight of your pinning leg so they can breath better, it would be a pain if they passed out. "A betrayal of our nature, of our trust in one another, killed four of my sisters, do you understand that? Yet here I find you suggesting, of all the horrific things, that our MASTER, originated that distrust. I find you suggesting that great man slaked inane base lusts on us, as I am busy dealing with the realization that I too, by merit of my odd manner of survival, have abandoned my sisters who may yet live. You mock the idea of that connection we had, when I am in the midst of realizing that I cannot feel my comrades, my sisters, and in turn they cannot confide in my light."

You let him go finally as you stand, brushing some imaginary dirt from your clothes where you touched the assistant who is now rolling over to gracelessly cough on the floor, the noise swallowed by the door which closed after his entry. "I am going to ignore this affront just this last time. You can think ill of me, hate me, distrust me. I. Do. Not. Care. If you continue insults of either my Master who died for us, or of the bond my sisters and I shared, I will feed you your kidneys. From both ends. Are we clear?"

Daniel mumbles something as they nod, which prompts you to stomp one step towards them before they cough and hold up a hand in a plaintive gesture. "Wa-wait. Yes y- you're clear, just- shit. I only came to give you your prescriptions."

That actually draws you up short, but sure enough he pulls a packet from his coat with several small bottles of strange design, featuring familiar labels. Those that aren't familiar are helpfully labeled as efficient substitutes for what is missing. It occurs to you that you haven't had your mood suppressants in a couple of days. You might have missed the dose prior to your sortie come to think of it.

As you mulling over this, you see a new expressing on Daniel's face as it seems that they are finally getting a clue that you are in fact, not just the little girl that you appear. Sighing heavily before you pop two pills of the suppressants, dry as you lack a cup, you then look over the disheveled panting assistant. He seems to be just trying to do his job at this point, and although he probably could, he is not fleeing the room. Considering you just short of beat the shit out of him, that takes dedication, and for better or worse considering the circumstances you can respect that. Your lack of medications probably has exacerbated your rage response. It's possible you weren't being entirely rational. Until your medications stabilize you will have to be careful about this.

Sighing again, you pinch your brow. "Thank you… and I apologize for that, it was not appropriate for me to retaliate as I have. You are an assistant to the one who I know now to be my Master in this strange place, regardless of your ability to understand what that means… it-"

"I'm not going to say its fine, but… I did somewhat provoke you." He admits as he stands up, rubbing his gut with a wince. "Damn you hit hard."

You can't help but giggle at the assessment, it's nostalgic… you cut yourself off though at the sensation of alarm rising behind you, in the room with your Master and that batarian, before you hear a thud, and a sensation of… annoyance? Daniel looks curiously at you a moment before suddenly his hand computer beeps at him and you hear Master Mordin's voice.

"Daniel. Need help lifting the patient back onto the table. Became unstable when anesthesia was discussed." Barely after the last word was out the computer clicked again, indicating the line was closed.

[] Walk towards the door, waving Daniel to follow. Best see what this was about and maybe mend the bridge a bit.

[] Wave him on, you need to think about your current state of affairs.
-[] Apologize again
-[] Not necessary

[] Take a walk.

Seems like a nice guy, his reaction is kind of reasonable. In his eyes, Puru is Stockholm Syndrome incarnate.

For walking, unarmed in Omega. Enough said.

Mending Bridges
Sorry for the delay, friends had a weekend of worldbuilding for another project of mine, and during break sessions I may have introduced one to Misery Mod STALKER.... and gotten addicted to that again.

[x] Walk towards the door, waving Daniel to follow. Best see what this was about and maybe mend the bridge a bit.

This development could be something of concern, and it's best you are there to also provide assistance to your Master. There is also the matter of you forced the air from the requested assistant's lungs, as well as half strangled them. They are going to likely need a bit of help.

"Let's go, after my assault you are going to want help lifting something of that mass." You state in a somewhat awkward tone, by your standards at least. The assistant follows after a moment of almost complaining, before hiding a motion to reach for his balls. You actually did a bit of a number on them, though they seem to be making an effort to hide it.

They still piss you off, but you find yourself able to at least respect them as a fellow under your Master.

"You seem like you have some personal experience with this." The assistant states in a questioning tone while the door pops open ahead of you. The implied question makes you glance one last time back at your suit, and the emblem on the patch.

"Six and I on occasional would engage in sparring. We both may have been in roughly your position in the past, though generally we favored arm bars for holding opponents, so I'm not sure how your neck is going to trouble you if at all."

"I think I'm going to have to ask you to not use me for sparring." They reply. You are mildly surprised to feel some humor behind that statement. It seems he bounces back quickly… perhaps in a place like this violently aggressive patients aren't too far outside the norm.

[] Consider how you might help Daniel prepare for dangerous situations, he seems willing to accept them, but he should never have entered your range in that room, he needs some instruction.
[] Wait until you've settled your disputes first, it would be a distraction.

As you round the corner and head back into that initial room your Master had entered, you see an upturned table of small bottles which your Master is collecting, and on the floor, the batarian has been dragged next to the patient operating table, and is on their side taking deep breaths. They appear to be unconscious. There is a barely noticeable scent to the air of the room.

Your Master seems a bit surprised to see you entering the room alongside Daniel, but chuckles when he see's you sniffing the air. "Aerosol anesthesia. Mix is tailored for Batarians and is harmless. Well mostly harmless, am told mildly triggers peanut allergies in humans. Smells like lemons."

The sheer lack of concern for the fact that their patient became momentarily violent concerns you a bit, but you are getting the impression this is not your Master's "First Rodeo" as it were. There is certainly much more to this 'Salarian mender of wounds' than that declaration suggested. Looking down at the patient though, you consider the matter momentarily unimportant, there is a job your Master desires completed.

"Support his legs and waist, I will guide his head and torso." You comment off to the side, before walking over. Looking closer, you verify that indeed, this was one of the batarians from that time before. While you find them personally distasteful, you aren't about to disobey your Master's wishes. No order need be given to not harm the patient. As Daniel helps support the weight, a bit of surprise evident towards how much of it you are managing yourself, you carefully lift them to the height of the table, face up, and jaw clear of any obstacles. A moment more, and they are placed neatly, centered on the table, ready for their jaw reconstruction.

Standing straight you glance at the others to see Daniel continuing to look at you with a bit of surprise, while your Master just nods once, with a hand grasping their chin. The doctor sees fit to think aloud to help out their assistant, "Thought I noticed muscle enhancements. Not terribly excessive, but muscle density and acquity is a bit higher than human norm for someone of apparent frame and age.

"I was a combat pilot like each of my sisters. In order for us to perform adequately under the forces of sudden acceleration it was mandatory to adjust our muscular, circulatory, and nervous systems development." You explain, your enhancements weren't just made on a whim.

However, from the point you said 'combat pilot,' your Master seemed somewhat troubled, as if something about that didn't fit.

It was to tell the truth something which troubled you as well, though you feel for different reasons. For him, it was likely something regarding the requirements of combat pilots here. Perhaps mobile suits here operated under different principles. Regardless, a mobile suit wouldn't help you defend your Master.

[] Remain silent, await any questions they have, or await dismissal.
[] Query as to the condition of your sidearm and survival tool, you need to be able to defend your Master at least somewhat in the case that those 'Blue Suns' return.
[] Request training on local firearms, it comes to your attention you cannot resupply your own equipment, and it also seems to be inferior. Even if it wasn't just a sidearm versus primary armaments, the projectile just does not do the job against armor.

We should clear things up further before we instruct anything since tensions are still relatively high between us.

- [X] Speaking of 'Blue Suns', inquire about the...politics and factions within the area. It's best if you know whose toes you should avoid stepping on.

Well, we kinda need better weapons to defend ourselves, and Ple hasn't really known much of the place outside of the clinic.

You may have not noticed you have two vote sections by the way, this write in is fine, but mid post there is also another pair of choices for a separate action.

Specifically:
[] Consider how you might help Daniel prepare for dangerous situations, he seems willing to accept them, but he should never have entered your range in that room, he needs some instruction.
[] Wait until you've settled your disputes first, it would be a distraction.

Right, missed that one. Edited the vote in.

- [X] Furthermore, you are almost certain that your flight suit would not provide sufficient protection from this world's weapons. Inquire about how to get better armor in case you have to run an errand in this dangerous new world. The only use your flight suit has now is as a reminder of home.

EDIT: Edited my post to add justification for keeping the flight suit other than sentimental value. Now for why I picked this. Eight's sidearm won't do much against a charging Krogan Battlemaster, so she's going to need something better for protection. Perhaps Mordin could give her a Cannifex Hand Cannon like the one he gave Shepard as a token of good faith.

EDIT 2: Removed mention of mechs, as Eight has not seen them yet.
