Yes, for most of the part it doesn't take itself so seriously. Mind you there are are some moments of real drama and, like hyper said, expect a lot of violence.

But seriously, it's fun. The comedy is actually comedic enough to be funny, with out overshooting to be annoying, the violence is fun in the way violence usually is, and the actual-plot bits are actually pretty decent.
