We... we don't understand basic manners, have no idea what rent is or any other social cues. The longer we hang around them, the more and more suspicious we're going to seem.

What happens when Tatsuya asks what Cake is? Or how do you use silverware? Or what a television or phone is?

We also have absolutely no incentive not to tell them honestly, save for "Yo we're your brother."

"I...came from after the end of the world. The Devil is coming in one year, and most of the world will be destroyed. We made a wish to go back and stop that from happening. I'm the Terminator."

....and Honestly, why the fuck shouldn't we say who we really are? This information only helps us. Madoka will trust us immediately, and no matter what happens we basically become immune to Murderface Homu due to the Kaname Transitive Principle.

He probably isn't going to outright ask that, since he can just kind of keep quiet about stuff he doesn't get and follow along with what everybody else is doing. He'll probably come off as weird and awkward due to not being quite in tune with social cues, but not "What is this 'cake' you speak of? Is it an enemy?" weird and awkward.

Also, we're crashing with Mami, right?

Like pragmatically speaking, we can't crash at our old house, and sleeping on the streets isn't advisable when we have a lonely blonde who's looking for a new Partner in Justice.

No but when he expresses surprise once he actually takes a bite of it, he might ask what it is. Does he even understand electricity or running water or indoor plumbing? Probably not.

Again, "Yo, we're from the Post-Apocalypse. Time Travel, biiiitch."

I honestly see no reason to lie about anything.

And that's where you seem to differ from pretty much everyone else. We have no evidence, we have no idea who's the devil, and we have massive trust issues. There's nothing that coming clean gains us, and a whole lot of risk.

We are literally the only Magical Boy in the entire world and even Kyubey is curious about it. Also we trust our sister and also Mami literally judges people by their cover.

Kyubey is curious about us. Not a good thing. And you still haven't given me an advantage of coming clean to them. And he has zero reason to think Mami would simply accept he's a time traveler.

Homura had the problem of bad social skills (which we share), no evidence (we atleast have a demonstrable anomaly of Manhood), and we're not trying to set them against anyone they already trust, like Kyubey. As far as Tatsuya knows, our goals line up 1:1 with Mami's.

I think Tatsuya would try to discourage Madoka from becoming a Magical Girl, especially when he finds out more about the system.

We have zero in-character reason to distrust Kyubey, and yes I have. Revealing our identity and origin has Madoka and Mami trust us implicitly and unconditionally, and Homura will have a harder time murdering us if we're inconvenient because of who we are, if she doesn't out and out trust us as an ally because we prioritize Madoka's safety just as much as she does.

Our goals are not currently at cross purposes with anyone as far as Tatsuya knows. He lacks the pop-cultural awareness of timetravel tropes to justify not sharing information when he needs information desperately.

Tatsuya has no idea that being a Magical Girl is a bad thing yet. When he finds out more about the system, sure, but I'm not metagaming because that's immersion-breaking.

The Earth King Mumi has invited you to Lake Laogai a tea party.

[x] Decline and leave.
-[X] You should really get around to figuring out how your magic works.

In-character, I figure that, at this point in our personal timeline, working with others ain't exactly gonna come easy.
Out-of-character, the less interaction we have with the bunnycat, the better.

I want to preserve the mysterious cool guy aura, that we have over Sayaka for all it is worth.

Guys the longer we stick around, the sooner we start failing, social cues hard, and that isn't a good thing
