Okay, let's start the discussion. Should Nathaniel and Dahlia research more about the Rumors, should they train more, or find Mitama to upgrade them?

I admit it's been a long time since I read about the lore of magica record. I know some of the basics but that's about it. Personally I would want to go whatever route lets us get dropped going as soon as possible if anyone can figure out that method then they would likely have my vote of support.

You need to find allies to defeat these things. You can also (depending on the circumstances) tell them about the book you found. Speaking of which, is it still with you after everything?
-[X] Tell Dahlia they need to find some allies for future witch fights and ask if she has any. Because for now, you're going to try to find allies in Kamihama first.

Nathaniel and Dahlia haven't really met anyone outside of a few normie classmates and professors. In MagiReco, the girls are allied in their own teams for a series of reasons.

All in all, remember you guys can dictate the flow of the story- you can suggest locations to visit too.

Both Kanagi and Ikumi work at maid cafes, though at different ones. Maybe we could meet one of them?

    Then shame. Your face began to pale.

    "What's wrong?" Dahlia asked.

    "I lost the book."

    Dahlia was perplexed for a moment, before vaguely recalling the item in question you referred to. "The one you got from the library?"

    "...Yeah."

    "Why so serious? It's not that big a deal."

    "It wasn't mine to give-" Your voice cracked, Dahlia snorting at the sheer shift in tone. "FUCK!"

    Even though you lost the property of the school's library, feeling some semblance of a guilty conscience, you managed to snap yourself back to reality.

    She cocked her head to the side, raising a bit of a curious tone. "Like Sailor Scouts?"

    "Like Sailor Scouts, yes. If Mami's anyone to go off of, there should be magical girls somewhere around here."

    Dahlia crawled off of the bed and began to stretch, bracing herself to go. "We could hunt another Witch, perhaps? Hope we bump into someone there?"

    You followed suit, reaching for your shoes. "I was thinking more along the lines of exploring and hoping for the best?"

    So @Mokyu, why do you vote for Mitakihara? I guess Nathaniel and Dahlia can potentially find Homura there, Kyouko as well if the news of Mami's "death" reaches her. Maybe Nagisa as well, but didn't she already witched out by now? At the hospital, we can also find Sayaka and Kyousuke.

    Also to shorten the name/ship name: NaLia (Nathaniel/Dahlia) That is a bit terrible though. Does anyone have any suggestions for this?

    So, here's something to think about. Where's Kyoko atm? And who's hunting Witches in Mitakihara rn?
    Besides Homura, we also need to consider the cast of Oriko Magica. Kirika and Oriko would actually be great allies... but Homura will then immediately have issues with us.

    Options here (not counting OCs) are Kuroe, Nayuta, Miyuri, and San. They're all question marks right now. Though connecting to Tasuke through Nayuta would be nice.

    This sounds the most dangerous, but that depends on if this follows Suzune's manga or Magia Record events.
    Because if we're following the game, then Suzune's left for Kamihama, so her hometown is actually pretty safe.

    While every girl except for Nayuta here eventually works for the Magius. Nayuta herself is still rather connected to Touka even if she tries to distance herself away from her. So the problem here is, do we want to cooperate with the Magius? Is Dahlia herself still in the Magius? She's probably not working for them anymore though, judging by chapter 2's events.

    I think it would be a great idea to work with Homura who has a powerful time stop ability. Although I don't think NaLia should work with them, they're literally still trying to kill Madoka even if it's derailed, and I don't want Homura to not work with us across the time loops due to death by association.

    Remember, Kagari still exists here. And, even if she also left for Kamihama, I don't want to take any chances.
     
    I was under the impression that Kagari was content to sit in the background unless Suzune was nearby. Fair points on the others tho.

    So as someone who is unfamiliar with the setting of Magia Record, what's up with Homura? I remember seeing Moemura is involved at somepoint, but the post above indicates that we are dealing with the more experienced veteran Homura.

    Hmm, so then where does Homura come into play? If we were to make friends with Oriko and Kirika, then as far as I know Moemura wouldn't have any issues with that meaning we could also befriend her too possibly. Would Homura incarnate into Moemura's body, or would it spawn a separate form? If the former were to happen, would she get Moe's memories of our interactions with Oriko? How would she react to that?
    I imagine she would have a fair bit of suspicion sure, but would it be any less then if she spawned a separate form instead?
     
    I actually forgot that Homura is a moeblob now, so yeah, Oriko and Kirika should be fine to run into. Ditto for Homura and Madoka.

    Mitakihara is sounding better and better. I'm switching votes, lol.

    Fine then, I'll assume that NaLia would not work with them anymore once they found out that Oriko and Kirika are planning to kill a girl though.

    Edit 1: I suggest that NaLia hunt a witch after they get some allies. Every city is currently devoid of witches, and Kamihama witches are buffed, so...
