I am surprised that no one is doing interstellar nations. Not even a home brew version. Very little of it. Mostly just earth options.

I can't exactly speak for anyone, but it might just be because the operation is headquartered near Earth, so there's more story opportunities tied to Earth; that would make it natural to lean in that direction.

I mostly just wanted some connection to either Iceland or Finland and the New Arctic Union is the best for that.

It's likely related to the fact that Earth is easy to contextualize.

Most of the plans are fun, I think I'd be opposed to just three of them. My own Phoenix Foundation because it's just a joke, the former pirates because the association would be bad for business, and the commune because it risks moving the quest away from its design focus. There's a companion quest by the same author with that vibe already:

I found the underdog aspect of the Sagittarian Colonial Coalition appealing, that and a bunch of neglected colonies becoming an economic/technological powerhouse, upending the status quo is just a interesting place to be story wise.

Or at least trying to do that.

Iron Hero Incorporated is both on the nose, and incredibly awesome. And given the Eurasian Khaganate's struggles to modernize- having a corporation with ties to it be near the leading edge on warmecha development is an interesting piece that doesn't necessarily overly define our company.
