[X] Kill him: The Rat is too dangerous to be let alive. You will end him here, and now.
-/-/-/-/-
As the rain continuous on to fall from high above, you slowly began your trudge towards the heavily bleeding form of the Rat that is kneeling not so far away from you. More than ready to prematurely end his life in this remote mountain corner, where the onlooking Slyvans would be your only witness to what is about to happen.
It really can't be helped. You mentally thought with little regret. Regardless of who the Rat is, you simply cannot let him leave this place alive, not after today.
The Rat himself seems to know of what awaits him as well. Understanding perfectly the risk of reprisal coming from him were he able to successfully recover is just too high for you to safely ignore.
Knowing however, is far from being accepting, and it is blatantly clear from his spiteful attitude that the Rat is still stubbornly refusing the fast approaching outcome. "I hope the desert swallows you whole, you damn thief."
"Oh?" Surprised, you softly said to him as you raise an eyebrow, feeling a little bit curious. "A thief now am I? What might drove you to that conclusion?"
"You are all just the same." With a low growl, the Rat began to explain himself in apparant disgust. "Always taking, always stealing. Rotten creatures like you never was able to make something for yourself, so you resort to take from others of what they rightfully deserve. Just like you are now, trying to steal the Slyvans away from me."
Tilting your head to the side, you briefly consider his words through before giving him a reply. "Funny to hear that from a Rat."
Seemingly conceding the point, the Rat gave you a short, mirthless chuckle. Looking quite defeated with one of his leg being pretty much incapacitated for the moment.
"True enough." The Rat said with blatant bitterness, head hanging low to the ground. "I am also the same. Before I become what I am now, I had also often steal and take from others out of their hard earned work. There's neither hesitation nor remorse in any of my actions back then, for the only thing that I cared about was myself. Which is why... for the Slyvans- ."

"I will not die!" The Rat suddenly yells out as he quickly pushes himself off the ground, all but literally throwing himself at you in a bastardization of a tackle that you, being so absorbed as you are in the conversation, wasn't at all prepared for.
You leaned yourself back, eyes wide, trying to futilely evade the inevitable crash that is going to come. The Rat however, is just too fast, too close, and you can do nothing as the collision between the two of you finally happens. Sending the both of you on a painful tumble that skips through the entire muddy grounds of the clearing in seconds.
Spinning, scrapping, and crushing on top of each other over and over again. You clearly would be coming out of this exchange as the one who is in the loss. For bruises and abrasions are rapidly being formed all over your body, riddling you with many small time injuries that would be just fine on their own, not so much so when they are all being accumulated together like this.

Desperate, you began to awkwardly battle the Rat midair to decide on who is going to stay above of the other, before your brief time of flight came to a complete stop. For getting pinned down by a creature of his size is the last thing that you could have wanted in this situation.
The both of you then landed yourselves roughly againts a tree at the edge of the clearing, angrily snarling at each other with you just barely managing to claw yourself to the top of his chest. Scaring away much of the surrounding Slyvans in the process.
Now, face to face with the Rat as you currently are, your opponent tries to immediately get himself out of the dangerous position that he found himself in. Obviously not wanting to stay under you for even a moment longer.
Hastily grabbing both of your front legs, your adversary began to rise himself up while also trying to throw you away using all of his might. Yelling loudly with determination.
"HUOOO- AGK!?"
An act that you will not allow to come to pass. Abruptly cutting the Rat off, you snap your jaws shut around his large furry head in a blink of an eye, covering almost a third of his entire face using only your muzzle.
The Rat is struggling now, clearly in complete panic. He tries to move you away from him, but his efforts had only resulted in your fangs tearing through more of his face, making him scream pitifully in agony. You will not let up your bite anytime soon however, that's for sure.
Instead, you put more force behind them. Steadily adding more and more pressure under your bite, and kept on ignoring the Rat's increasing amount of distress until...

Rat Dies
Abruptly, the Rat's pained scream is no more, with the rain being the only thing that you could hear. As if nothing else wants to be noticed in this otherwise silent clearing.
Backing away for a couple of steps, you coldly observed the result of your short, messy work. Absently chewing some of their shredded parts in your mouth before giving them a swallow, only putting little mind to their tangy taste.
The Rat's face is simply doesn't exist now. His skull having literally been snapped in half from the force of your bite. Leaving nothing but bloody gore in their place.
Hunger Dead?
You jumped slightly to the air, startled. After a second to hold your composure, you began to turn slowly towards the likeliest origin of the sound. Already having an idea of whose voice it was that had echoed through your mind.
So, you are not at all being surprised to see a group of Slyvan just standing there, in the direction where you thought the voice had come from, doing nothing but watching you. Just like they had always do in the rather short time you had known them for.
What gives you a surprise however, is the way they are looking at you. There's none of the empty dead stare that they had used for you, nor the fear filled eyes that they had used for the Rat. It is just so unlike what you have seen from them before, you ended up just staring back at them in complete bafflement for a moment.
The Large Eared One killed Hunger?
Now? They looked at you with something else entirely in their gaze. Somehow also sending you something intangible using them as a medium. A feeling of some kind that you can't help yourself but to notice.
At first, it feels exactly like the feeling of fulfillment that you had been experiencing a lot lately, however, it also seems to have a slightly different quality in them, almost like a different flavor. Most likely due to their different origin, yet what you are feeling now seems much better.
Much more more satisfying.
The Large Eared One protects?
It is only after you took them in. Only after letting yourself be fully immersed in these pleasureable feelings did you recognize just what they are. Finally understanding that the Slyvans are staring at you with nothing but...

Gained a Major Deed: Rat Eater
"Long ago, in the hilled land of the Sun, lives the Slyvans of old in a peaceful harmony with their surrounding nature. So flourish was the Slyvans, a starving Rat began to devour everything that they have out of Greed and Envy. Bringing death and suffering to the once beautiful land."
"Devastated by the atrocity before them, a passing great Fennec then, in their mercy, began to struck down the Rat for all of their vile acts. Biting the rotten creature's head off as punishment for the sins they had committed. For we are the Gods beloved race, and in their worship, we shall always be protected from evil that would do us harm."

[ ] You felt Humbled. For you don't think you have done much to deserve their attention.

"Finally, I am back."
It has only been a day ever since you had your fight to the death with Rat, and now, your den is only a short distance away. With you having taken your leave immediately from the eastern Horn after spending some time caring for the Slyvans.
Their conditions was, frankly, bad. By the time you had decided to intervene, the Rat had already gotten to most of them.
Unfortunately, not all Slyvans had survived. A few of them had managed to die without you being able to do anything. Their injuries was just too severe for you to handle in such a short amount of time.
So, all that you can do was just sitting right beside them. Giving them at least some company before their life goes away.
The rest of the Slyvans however, thankfully, are mostly fine. There's some serious wounds that they have here and there, but they should all be able to fully recover after a few good licks from you.
You don't know how the Slyvans will fare from now on, after they had just lost the Rat's protection. Hopefully, they would be able to return to their day to day lives without much of a difficulty.
If not, then maybe you could give them a helping paw or two.
Also, speaking of the Rat...
"Could have I done better?" You mumbled with your head hanging low. Mind buzzing incessantly with what-ifs as you kept on with your trot towards your destination.
From what you have seen, the Rat seems to be genuine in his desire to help the Slyvans. He truly thought what he was doing is the best way possible to help them grow.
That's why killing him left such a sour taste in your mouth. You do not want the Rat to die. It's regretful, but you don't think he would back down just from listening to you, so you are left with no other choice but to end him right then and there.
Maybe if I could have...
You rapidly shook your head, banishing the what-ifs and once again having your mind clear of it's burdens. The past is in the past.
Better to focus on what is in the front.
"Hey there, Old Tree." You greeted your living den with a smile, having finally reached it after what seems like a very long trip. Chuckling a bit by how it wiggles it's roots in response. "Yeah, got dragged into a bit of a problem between those plant like creatures I had told you about and a huge Rat. That's why it took so long for me to come back."
The Old Tree seems to be in good mood today, as you are able to converse with it for a good, long while. With the topics that you have ranging from the Slyvans that you had met to the bug problems that it has while you are gone. Making you able to laugh and be distracted for a bit from the Rat's rather unfortunate demise.
"Okay, okay. I'll come in after a bit, alright? Just give me a sec before I see this gluttonous beetle of yours." After assuring the Old Tree, you turned yourself around before taking a seat facing out from the mountain. Letting your gaze simply go as far as you can from where you are currently sitting from, cold and wet yet solemn.
Your mountain might not be as high as either of the Horns, but it is still high enough for you to barely able to see the other parts of the Valley. If the weather was actually nice for once.
Holding back a shiver, you wondered with equal part fear and excitement. Just what is a God?
To your limited understanding, that is what you and the Rat would eventually become in the future. Even though you didn't have even a single clue of what being a God actually entails.
You thought long and hard of the possibilities, but eventually decided to give it up and wait for when the time comes. There's just no telling ho-
Bathump
!!?
Gasping in shock, you quickly raise to your feet. Looking around in panic at your surroundings to find the source of the powerful, indescribable feeling that you had just felt, only to let your jaw drop after you had successfully find them far in the distance. Slowly getting bigger.
It's an arm. A huge white arm is currently rising from the ground. Far bigger than anything you had ever seen, close to a mountain even.
Just from looking at it, you know that the arm wasn't even in the Twin Horned Mountain. Yet, you could still feel it's presence from where you are all the same, strong and overwhelming.
What grabs your attention the most however, is what your feelings are telling you about the arm. It's exactly what you had been wanting to know for the entire day.
"That's... a God?" You whispered with wide, open eyes. Standing totally petrified in awe and apprehension from the arm's mere presence. Making you want to do nothing more but collapse.
Truth be told? You could have stayed paralyzed there for a long time just from watching it, if not for what the hand would soon do next.
"W-What are you doing?" You asked out loud. Breaking out from your stunned condition as you saw the hand slowly reaching itself out to the far above rain clouds. Before, in front of your very eyes, it began to squeeze.
The effects are immediate. The once tranquil rain clouds quickly turned into those of a Storm. Just like how it was when you had first called it.
The Storm, seemingly in anger and pain, doesn't even hesitate to unleash those snakes of light you had once saw at the hand that is squeezing it, fighting with all it's might to protect itself.
It's efforts, however, is futile. As the hand doesn't even seem to register any of the attacks that are being done to it. Leisurely still squeezing and twisting at the cloud's surface until-
FLASH
"Yipp!?"
Suddenly, there was a bright flash of malicious red light, followed closely by a rather loud sound more akin to a creature's dying scream. They are so loud, you ended up falling to the ground to cover your poor, sensitive ears. Eyes down shut.
Hesitantly, after a minute or two, you opened up your eyes. Fearfully peaking through your eyelids to see what in the world had happened. Trying to figure out whether you should run or not.
At first, everything seems normal. The hand is gone, and there's no signs of anything having ever disturbed the clouds. For a moment, nothing seems to be out of place.
It's as if everything that you had just experienced was actually an illusion. Just a byproduct of your mind messing around with you.
Unfortunately however, you will soon find those terrifying spectacles that you thought you have imagined are indeed, very very real. Much to your mounting horror.
It started slowly, in a very little number. Although, not slow nor few enough for you to not notice them when they fall amongst all others. Just simple oddities hidden between the mundanes.
It is only when they have become more and more common did you soon realize, just what the hand had actually done. Realize just in what liquid you would soon be bathed in, judging from the colour of the droplets that begins to fall all over you.
They are Red. The large hand had injured the storm, and the skies are now raining blood upon all who is below it. Including you.
Suddenly feeling sick, you began to cough your lungs out uncontrollably. Hunching over yourself in pain while knowing; this is all because of the blood that you are currently covered in. They are what causing you to feel so terrible.

B- But Why? You thought with confusion. Eyes staring straight towards the White Meadows, where the hand had seemingly came from. Why would anyone done this?
Eventually, you can't do anything but to run deep inside to the safety of your den, pitifully seeking cover underneath the Old Tree who is also beginning to feel sick. Helplessly watching on as the lands around you finally has an appearrance that match well with it's name.

Each turn you will have 1 Major Action, and 3 Minor Actions. You can spend 2 Minor Actions to do a second Major Action.
For now, unless there is an opposing roll, all actions will have the DC of 20/40/80.
Votes will be in the Plan format.
Major Action
[ ] Ambitious Takeover: You are feeling very confident right now. Capable of besting any foe. It might be a little bit reckless, but you want to see whether you can take down a being that you know is actually strong. Pretty much taking over their territory as the result for defeating them also sounds pretty nice.
-[ ] The Western Leopard
-[ ] The Eastern Goat
[ ] Delicious Pests: What you might consider as a benefit, others might consider them as a detriment. The old tree that you had turned into a part of your den treats the large infestation that it has as an affliction. It's a bit disappointing, but you could do without all of those tasty bugs.
[ ] Cold Night: Usually, your fur is good enough for you to keep your warm up when the sun is down. It just got very cold sometimes. Cold enough you had even once thought your fur have gone missing at one point. Maybe you can prepare something?
[ ] Preparation Down Under: There is nothing like being under prepared! You may have finished building down your den, but no one can say you couldn't improve them down even more!
[ ] Into the Bleeding Sky: You didn't really put much thought into it at first, but you have to now. Just what is the Storm? How was it able to do the things that it did? Would it be okay with all the blood that it was pouring out? You just need to make sure, and the only way to do that is by going up there yourself. (2 Turns) (DC: 40)
[ ] Growing Past Old: When you had first started to build your Underpaths, you had once considered helping out the Old Tree to make it better than it's current state. It might be a good idea to revisit those thoughts.
[ ] Blood and Plants: You are worried. Very worried. The Rat had said that the Slyvans lives off from water, and you had even seen them recover very quickly by absorbing lots. What would a large quantity of blood do to them? You just don't know. (2 Turns)
[ ] Who Are You?: You had this strange feeling inside of you lately. One that is quite different from the various different feelings of fulfillment that you had already felt before. With this one, it's as if you are just on the cusp of something. Something that is great and bigger than what you currently are. Where all that you needed to do to reach it, is to ask yourself a question.
Create for yourself an Aspect of Godhood. Choose as many Deeds as you want. Total value of the Deeds must at least be five, and at most be fiveteen. As a Creature, no more than five of those Deeds can be from Civilazation.
-[ ] Write-In Deeds to be used.
[ ] Write-In
Minor Action
[ ] Sightseeing: You had been to every single location in the Red Valley before, at least, that's what you had thought before finding the Slyvans. Maybe you could find something similar if you go out again?
-[ ] The White Meadows
-[ ] The Barren Cliffs
-[ ] The Rocky Mountains
[ ] Indifferent Plants: You are curious. Just what does it that makes these Slyvans seems so special? The Rat couldn't find anything, but maybe you could. You just need to get closer to them, and know them better.
[ ] Unfinished Business: Honestly, you had almost forgotten about that persistent cat that just kept on trying to eat you. Even though there's a very little chance of her actually managing to do so, she still had annoyed you greatly. It is time for some payback. (3 Turns)
[ ] Danger in White: Just what was that giant hand? Why did it bleed the Sky? Does it really belong to a God? You need to know. Even if it was for avoiding them on sight.
[ ] Hello There!: You are quite lonely. It has been a while ever since you have your last friendly talk. Well, it is time for you to change that! All you need to do is to keep bothering someone until they would want to talk with you. Easy.
-[ ] The Western Leopard
-[ ] The Eastern Goat
-[ ] The Old Tree Den
-[ ] A Random Creature
[ ] Predator & Prey: You didn't need to do this as often as you did before for some reason, but you still remember quite clearly just how it was like before. To a Creature like you, survival is everything, and you survived by preying on others that is weaker than you. It is a sad truth, but they at least taste good.
[ ] Veggies?: On the other paw, you did managed to learn of how to live yourself off by consuming only plants. It's a bit hard for you to figure out just which plants that you could actually eat at first, not to mention which parts, but eventually you did figure them out. They weren't very filling, but they at least didn't talk quite as much.
[ ] Moving Out: You do not want to stay in this area anymore. It is time for you to go and move out to a new place.
-[ ] The Great River
-[ ] The Howling Canyons
-[ ] The Blistering Dunes
-[ ] The Wild Savanna
You only need to pick the Deeds in the beginning. After that, I would give out several potential Aspect choices that you all will vote on based on the characteristics of the Deeds, with several options being crossed off due to the combinations. Just remember that you can't use the same Deed twice.
For example, the most recent Rat Eater would, alone, give you out: Rat, Combat, Protection, Judgement, Consumption, and etc. I would narrow the choices down based on other Deeds you had voted so that the following update won't be overcrowded with choices.
@Black.Horus How exactly the value of the deeds used impact the resulting aspect? Would an aspect made with a total value of 15 be more powerful than an aspect with total value of seven?

Laying weakly on the ground, you try not to move a muscle. All in an effort to recover smoothly from within the safety of your den.
It is here, protected as you are against the heavy torrent of blood that rains down upon the surface above, did you wonder about the most recent of events. Putting more attention to what had primarily led you to your current sickly state.
"So... that's a God." You muttered feebly in the dark. Slowly controlling the rhythm of your breathing to a much steadier pace.
There is no denying that seeing the answer to your unasked question had left you pretty much rattled. Even now, days after, your body still trembles from the occasional phantom memories. Their visions filling you with nothing but fear to the being you had witnessed.
Back then, the God's presence over you was just too great. You had been simply overwhelmed to the point where you couldn't even do anything but lay yourself flat on your stomach, hoping to not attract even a single attention to yourself.
It is a very shameful display, but if anything, you know you are adaptable. Despite the momentary cowardice that you had shown, there is no doubt in your mind that you are going to survive this bloody ordeal, and live on long enough for you to be a God yourself. One that will be able to stand together with many other great beings of similar powers with a smile on your face.
As long as you continue on your path, that is what you believe will happen. No matter what the world would throw at you next.
Even so. You mentally thought with a sigh. Mind filled with worry. Hope everyone's okay.
Regardless on whatever you are going to be however, you couldn't help but be concerned with the well being of anyone who is unfortunate enough to be out and about during this new weather that the Hand had brought to the Red Valley. Because if you, a God Canditate, was even being forced to hide underground... you don't think any average creature would last very long. Not unless they also managed to find a cover for themselves to stay into. Where they are safe and are unreachable from all the falling blood.
Between you and the Rat, you had found a God Canditate to be much stronger than any other creature that you had ever saw in your life. Something which makes sense considering what the end result seems to be.
It is from that simple observation alone did you gain the confidence to travel and give a check on the Slyvans under this damn, annoying weather. Because, considering you are vaguely connected the one who had made them, you should be strong enough to resist the negative effects that makes you want to just fall over and die. At least, for a short while.
After all. You are the one who had called the rain in the first place. Before the Hand had randomly decided how it is prettier in red.
To be very much frank, you are extremely worried for the Slyvans well being. As far as you know, the tree like creatures might not even have noticed the change of weather that had happened, and is currently enjoying themselves with the blood bath without giving a single attention to what is happening to their bodies. Their lives blissful in their simple ignorance.
The Old Tree is also not an exception, albeit for a much different reason. Unlike the Slyvans, your living den is immobile, and thus, cannot go look for shelter no matter how much it wants to, because it itself is a shelter. Your shelter to be very specific, a fact that filled you with not a small amount of guilt.
Even now, you could directly see how the Old Tree is clearly suffering from all the blood that it was being forced to absorb without end. Practically all of it's root is shifting around restlessly on the walls of your den, conveying to you nothing but meaningless voices.
You have tried to ignore them at first. Desperately covering your ears and convincing yourself to just focus on recovering first before doing anything else. The Old Tree's seemingly endless agony, however, proves just too much.
Raising up to your feet, your injuries be damned, you began to approach one of the walls that seems to have grown the most of the Old Tree's large, protruding roots. Ready to give your living den the help that it obviously need.
Old Tree's Resistance
Roll: 38
Suddenly however, you felt your entire surrounding shake. Forcing you to stop your tracks in order to steady yourself, and after looking around, you can see how the Old Tree is lashing out at everything using many of it's roots. All the while wailing itself out in sheer agony, not putting your presence to mind in the middle of all it's frenzy.
"Old Tree!?" You yelled out towards your living den, putting half of your attention to just dodging the barrage of roots that is wildly being whipped about around you. Struggling to think as to why the normally calm creature had suddenly become so violent. After a moment of thought, however, you already have a pretty good guess.
Rushing yourself outside, it didn't take long for you to identify the source of the problem. Not when it is literally staring at you right in your face. "Oh no... "
What you saw was a sight that put a pit deep into your stomach. Not even the Rat's Hunger riddled forest had looked quite as bad as what the Old Tree had become. Just what had the rain done to it? The way they are now, you almost couldn't even recognize the annoying old plant that had took you in. They just looked so different from the last time you had seen their main body, back when the large Hand had ruthlessly bleed the sky red.
From what you are seeing, all of their leaves had rotten off at some point or another, leaving their branches looking empty and lifeless. With their foliage gone, it also have left their trunk free of being drenched with blood, where the colour of red seems to be seeping deep into their bark, making them look as if they are what they had always been like. All together? They all created a sight that makes you want to barf over in disgust.
What is the most disgusting however, is the creepy red outgrowths that had grown all over the Old Tree. With many of them resembling half lidded eyes that just unsettles you by the way they are all emotionlessly looking at you.
Still, no matter how they look, they are still the Old Tree, right? They are just in a lot of pain right now. "H-Hey! Are you al - woah!?"
Hurriedly jumping away in surprise, you're able to dodge a piece of root that had just taken a move to stab you in the gut. An act that sends your heart reeling with pure disbelief. It attacked me!? Why?
Landing safely onto a patch of clear ground, you widen your eyes as you saw more of the wooden tendrils rise up in order to point their sharp, pointy ends towards you. All obviously with intent to harm. Prompting you to, in anguish, prepare yourself for battle.
You stopped, however, upon seeing all the hostile roots had suddenly stopped. In midair, they all beginning to just tremble in place. For some reason biefly abandoning their aggression towards you. All in favor of acting as if they are struggling to even make any kind movement beyond simple twitchs and shakes. Where they are for all intents and purposes; completely immobilized.
*Creak*
Hearing the creaking, you draw in a short breath, surprised. Because unlike before, this sound actually has a meaning behind them! "Old Tree! Have you come to your senses yet!?"
You focus on your ears, trying your hardest to understand what the Old Tree is trying to tell you through creaks and cracks of moving wood. Only to become increasingly more and more horrified from what you had managed to decipher, because all that they are saying is just an unintelligible mess of blood, beauty, and pain. Nothing but madness.
Just what had happened to you? You thought with anger that is beginning to boil, all the while ignoring the weariness that you can feel are building up, now that you are under the rain.
You reign yourself in, however. For there must be some of the Old Tree that was left. It wouldn't have stopped attacking you otherwise. There must be.
*Creeaaakk*
They are holding, just barely. Surely.
There is no question on whether you are going to help the poor plant. Even though you didn't know them very well, you know them well enough to consider them a friend.
The only problem was on how you are going to help them. The issue here is not on your capability, but on figuring out a method that would last on long enough until this whole Blood Rain is over and done with. Anything less would only be useless.
You do not want the Old Tree to become corrupted again the moment you are on your way to the Slyvans. You need to give them something that is a lot more... permanent.
The question though; is what?
*Cough! Cough!*
"N-Need to hurry." You managed to spit out, already feeling the blood's invasive effects. Mind rapidly thinking on the best way possible to save your friend before it all becomes too late.
