Powers Quest (Original/The Gamer) [Sort-of Hiatus]

It's like taking ten in D&D but we use a d100. In D&D if you take a bit of extra time you can just guarantee you get ten on your roll which is in the middle and is really only useful for low skill checks or high skills.
Ah. Well, to answer succinctly: no. To answer more lengthily: hell no.

Fail horribly at things, my minions! Mwa ha ha! MWAAAA HA HA HA HA HAAAA!

Besides, by the third or so episode of the webserial, the bonus from your Screenwriting skill means that in the absence of a crit-fail, you'll basically be writing one of the greatest scripts in existence anyway. Your current script for the first episode is about 80% perfect already. And you're still in the Prologue arc, so nothing too horrible will happen to you, even if you do roll a crit-fail at something. For now.

[X] "What?! WHERE?!"
-[X] "Oh, you mean Lifebane. Dude, when did you get so bigoted?"
--[X] "Why is that when a skeleton stops hiding like all of them hide in each of us, people are surprised?"
---[X] "Xiang, this is Lifebane. Lifebane, Xiang."
----[X] "Did you get chow mein? You'd better have got chow mein."

[X] "What?! WHERE?!"
[X] "Oh, Lifebane? Dude, when did you get so bigoted?"
---[X] Ask LIFEBANE how to capitalise and colour our speech.
